Brad Pitt returns to L.A. after quick visit to France

The other day, Brad Pitt was spotted flying into Los Angeles from Nice, France after a short visit across the ocean. Once Brad was stateside he had to be escorted by police and security to his car just to avoid a mob scene!
Although there’s no official word as to what he was doing overseas, the last time that Brad went to France by himself for a few days it was evidently to check on Miraval. Shortly after his visit, the whole family went over for the majority of the summer.
It stands to reason then that Brad may have been preparing Miraval for the return of his family. If they don’t have any set projects that are starting up right now – or in the near future – then there’s no reason why Brad, Angelina, and the Jolie-Pitt kids can’t just head out to France for a little while.
I love when Brad and Angelina take the kids to France. They do still get photographed but it’s usually from a respectful distance and they generally seem to enjoy more overall privacy. It seems that when they’re in Los Angeles, the paparazzi capital of the world, they almost find they can’t go out as often. When they’re in France it feels like they’re regularly out shopping or hitting the flea markets and that just sounds like a much more fun way to live.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for more details to see if Brad and Angelina are indeed returning to France for a little while!

it’ll be nice if they’d spend their holiday in Miraval. i hope we could see photos of them soon but of course in a safe distance.
Okay, that last picture is awful! I mean, the paps are standing maybe two feet away from Brad at the absolute most, and clearly they didn’t even let the poor guy get into his car in peace! I think this is a big part of the reason why the J-Ps fly private when they have all the kids with them (I’ve noticed that Angie and Brad sometimes fly comercial when they go places with just Maddox).
I mean, can you imagine the mob scene that would insue if they flew came through the terminal with all the kids? It was bad enough when they were photographed with all the kids at Narita airport at the beginning of this year (due to the fact that only the Japanese royal family is allowed to leave from the tarmac there. Everyone else, even celebs, has to go through the terminal.). Sadly, it would probably be at least 10 times worse if they took the kids through the terminal in LA!
Anyway, like I said earlier, I hope they DO go to France soon, as the kids actually seem to be photographed more there lately. I know it’s selfish, but I love seeing the kids (although not if it means their safety is being jepordized and/or the photos are taken under extremely intrusive circumstances such as the ones the paps snapped of them at Miravel just after the twins’ birth last year), and I’ve missed seeing them while they’ve been in LA.
I am especially hopeful that we might start seeing more of the twins if they come to France for awhile since, as Sherry said, the paps seem to be much less aggressive and crazy there. 
Now I actually think that the reason we saw hardly any photos of them while they were in France last year was because they were all laying low during the last months of Angie’s pregnancy, rather than them just not getting snapped when out in public.

it’s nice to know that if this is true, that Brad is preparing Miraval for holidays, the family would have a private and very happy Christmas together! yay! another, maybe Brad’s beard will stay until Christmas and New Years over.. because my theory is that Brad and Angie will be playing Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus for the kids! haha! i can just imagine Brad wearing a Santa costume with a very big pillow on his tummy!! yehey! that would be really fun!
Thanks for this story, Sherry! It looks like poor Brad is once again haunted by the paps the second he gets out of the airport. He sure wanted to get back home as soon as possible. Can only imagine the joy in the kids´ faces when daddy came home. Brad was probably in France to cehck out Miraval for the family´s return. Maybe they´ll spend the Thanksgiving in Missouri with Brad´s parents and siblings (and their families) and Christmas in France. There they can have some privacy. All those pics that were taken of the family this past summer were taken from respectable distance but still were very clear. So the paps there use long lenses and respect the family´s privacy. In LA the JPs don´t have that. kimmy – I so agree with you. Hopefully Brad will play Santa Claus and Angie Mrs. Claus. That would be really cute. The kids sure would love that!

I really do hope your story about France is true Sherry!Cause I do also believe that in France they have more privacy and they can go out more often without the paps being so close to them!I mean look at the last pic!Poor Brad,the only think he sure wants is to go home to his family and get some rest!
I hope that some day those paps will understand that celebrities have their lives and need some privacy!

I think I heard or read once that the Jolie-Pitts alternate their holidays. Meaning the United States or their Europe homes. But where ever I hope Pax’s birthday is a happy one. And the JP’s have a great family Thanksgiving dinner together. They are very blessed.
I think it is very sad when we are wishing for the Jolie-Pitts to go to France. But I also agree that they have a happier life there than here. Pretty bad that we have allowed the paps, and certain types of media to chase people out of our country. I am seventy years old and it appears to me that many things are changing in our country and not for the best. I wish we would all get back to caring about our neighbors and stop worrying about the color of someone’s skin. Sorry, guess I kind of got on my soapbox. Going to be a busy week getting ready for the holidays, so to all Pittwatcher’s Happy Thanksgiving.
No matter where they go, I hope they have a nice holiday and get some privacy. One day I hope the law says that you cannot get a picture of a childs face without permission, in any state or country. France may seem “tamer” but they are no better than the U.S. I visited a different fan site once and honestly I didn’t appreciate clicking on a link and seeing Angelina changing into a swimsuit and numerous pictures of her children playing in their backyard in France. Things that are supposed to be ULTRA private are not. It doesn’t matter how adorable their children are, they are not getting their privacy and it isn’t fair.
I feel bad about pictures like that last one when the kids are around but not when its just the two of them or out on thier own. And I really don’t feel bad for them at the airport, everyone else gets it, look at the Twilight actors in and out of the Vancouver airport. Airports are definately on my Ok list for places to take Pics.
I agree with Irma. My bet is that they’ll visit Brad’s family in Missouri for Thanksgiving. What a get together that would be with 14 grandchildren running around the house.

I have a question that I would like for anyone to answer. This is for a projert that I an doing in school. Anyway the question is of you could talk to Angelina Jolie what would you talk about? What of her inspear you? And how have they made an inpact in the world? I AM REALLY SORRY THAT I PUT THESE QUESTIONS ON SOO LATE, BECAUSE THE ASSIGNMENT IS DUE TOMORROW AND I WOULD LIKE IT IF YOU ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Fatmata, you should have asked this when you first got the assignment to get more responses.
To answer your question, it would all depend on how much time I got to spend with her. If it was just a quick passing by one another, I would probably say hello, and tell her how much I love the book she wrote (Notes From My Travels). I can’t really see getting any more than that.. but if I knew someone that knew her and I could actually talk to her, I would want to share with her how much I admire all she is doing for those who are in such bad shape and aren’t even getting the most basic things that we take for granted every single day. I would ask her questions about the journeys she goes on, and tell her that I want more books. That’s basically what I would ask her about.. her charity work. Of course I would tell her that her films make me happy.. and I’d probably ask her which ones did she liked making the most and so on, but it would basically be about her work with the UNHCR. If I have a box of kleenex around, I could listen to her talk about that forever. I’m never going to experience the things she does first hand, so I rely on intelligent people to teach me. Angelina Jolie has definitely changed my own life in a way. It was through her that I originally started to learn about the horror’s so many people face every waking moment. While I may not be able to financially help them the way she can, I am at least much more aware of whats going on.. and have lost the crappy attitude and selfishness I used to walk around with constantly. And who knows, if I ever do come into money, I know exactly what I would be doing with it.
She truly seems like such a warm and caring woman. We definitely need more people like her in our world. It would be a much, much better place.

What would I say to Angelina…where do I begin.
…After watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith, I slowly became a fan of both Brad and Angelina as I learned more about them and what they were doing as humanitarians. I am also tremendously impressed with the grace and patience that they handle the media in light of the horrible things that they report. I’m not sure I will never know what it’s like to smile at a Gossip/Entertainment show host while knowing that they have made snide comments about my partner and children. No amount of money can buffer your emotions and feelings from the horrendous gossip spun from speculation and inuendo online. But Angie goes on with the business of building her home…
…and there are so many other things I admire about Angelina.
-They way she handled the embarrassment of her Fathers betrayal in the media.(I too have had a difficult relationship w/a parent who didnt understand me and was verbally cruel to me,but Angie demonstrates that you can go on with your life and be happy through it all)
-The way she ignores the tabloid rumours.(she takes the ‘high road’)
-The way she is her own person.(it’s not easy staying true to yourself in HW)
-The way she adopted before having any children biologically.(I am 40,so it’s great to know there’s still hope to have a tight/loving family through adoption)
-The way she seems to travel seemlessly between vixen, humanitarian, and mother.
…In answer to your question, I would simply tell her that she inspired me with her adoption, her caring about other countries, her creativity and acting ability, her strength with family problems stemming from a broken home,and her all round beautiful and unique spirit. I hope some day I have the chance.
Angelina is on her way to becoming a legend at only 34.

a couple of people have mentioned Pax’s upcoming birthday, i wonder why it is that we see him so rarely? he doesn’t seem to get his own special outings. any thoughts on this? maybe… issues with all the photogs?
Brad tries really hard to hide his sexiness but he is not successful. There is one pic that shows his hands and he looks delicious in black. I really don’t like the beard but Brad is sexy!!!!
Gena- I agree that he is trying to hide his sexiness but for me hes doing an ok job. I dont get it. I dont get his look at all. He looks more like a retired hippy grandfather (which isnt bad if you are one!) than half of the hottest couple on earth. Please brad shave the beard! I know im the minority here so sorry everyone.

Of course there are some sites making comments about Brad being out with QT on a Sunday and not spending time with family. Oh please. It appears that the cast went to an awards filming of IB and after that went for dinner at the restaurant.A statement was written that he was flirting with a mystery woman. The woman happens to be QT’s editing director. Some posters were calling Brad a cheater. How hilarious. I am sure Angie is just fine.
Brad and QT have really become good buddies.

southafrica- I know I’m not Sherry, but I don’t think we see Pax any less than we do the other J-P kids (in fact, it’s actually the twins we see the least of!). It’s true that we don’t see him alone with Angie and/or Brad very often….but we don’t really see the other kids out alone with them very often either.
For example, Zee and Shi are usually seen out together. We rarely see either of them with just their parents. The only J-P kid that we really see out alone with Angie and Brad on even a semi-regular basis is Maddox.
amcs- I’m not at all surprised to hear that. Angie and Brad have both made it pretty clear that they don’t give a s*&t what the tabs and public think of them!
I forgot to say that I DO question whether that excerpt is from a current interview (I’m not saying that you’re lying amcs, so please don’t take it that way! I just mean that the site you got the excerpt from might not be being truthful.). I mean, Salt isn’t coming out until next summer, so I’m guessing promotion won’t start until Spring at the earliest.
So Angie really has no reason to be giving an interview right now, and I just can’t see her giving an interview just to respond to the book that’s coming out!
joliepittfanatic that interview that amcs is talking about is from 2005 when the tabloids were spreading rumors around that Angelina and Brad were having an affair. So Anne told her to just dany it on the record and that was Angelina’s reponce because she knew that it would not mattter what she said, people will still think what they want. And she is one hundred percent correct. Because people are still talkng about it today, 4 years almost 5 years later.
I copied and pasted some of amcs’s post and searched it in google to see if it was new, Fatmata is right.. it took me to a Jolie site with interviews. I found those two exact questions and the date of the interview was 2005. Not sure what other questions where asked or what exactly it pertained to, I don’t like reading gossip if I can avoid it, I don’t want to hear the hurtful stories. She shouldn’t have to try and justify herself to anyone. Her private life is HER business. I don’t care that she was with Brad before his marriage ended and I really don’t care about any other trash that makes her and/or her family look imperfect. Big shocker… they aren’t. With 6 small kids in a home, you know damn well its crazy and of course they aren’t “perfect little angels”. And there is no way on earth you can have a real and honest relationship with someone for years and never fight with them.
Also, Angelina does not just do interviews when a movie is coming out. She also has spoken on behalf of the UNHCR to discuss problems overseas, and nothing needed to be promoted at the time, accept of course those individuals (who in my opinion should get plenty of air time each day). I would like to be able to say with confidence that no one would ask her about any foolishness during an interview of such an importance, but you never know with some. Theres no guarantee we will even hear what she thinks of that book. Did you ever notice there are certain topics that are never brought up, ever? As open as Angie is, I have a feeling she has made it clear that there are a couple of things she isn’t willing to discuss publicly.
