Brad Pitt Seeks “Lost City”
Brad Pitt is all set and ready to produce and likely star in a new film, Lost City of Z. Paramount just bought the rights to the film. It’s a true-life story about a British explorer, Colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett who sought to find a lost city somewhere in the Amazon. In 1925, Fawcett and his team were looking for the City of Z, but disappeared.
The book itself has not even been published yet - it will be available only in February of 2009! I’ve never heard of that before, of film rights being taken care of and film plans being made before the book is even out on the shelf.
It sounds like an exciting story and I look forward to seeing Brad play the role of Fawcett!

I wandered about that too Lucy! But it also says he was lost and others try to find him. I guess we have to wait and see what other info we get.
I think next year maybe mainly a “producing” year for Brad.
BTW welcome back, great to see you had a good hols.

Hi Sherry, I couldn’t figure out how to email you so I’ll just share this way:

This site has pictures of the spread in Texas. Perhaps you can start a thread about celeb stalking and publishing of their whereabouts, without any regard to their personal safety or privacy!

The title itself sounds like Indiana Jones kind of movie. It must be something in that story that Brad caught his attention. He will probably be just producing it. Maybe in 2 to 3 years before they can start the movie.
Children First: Thanks a lot for the pictures, they were taken in the air, lots of things for kids to enjoy while Daddy is away. No wonder, the papz can’t take their pictures, big property & far away from public eye. Simple living for the family of 6.
God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

Sherry, I like Brad’s picture, he looks so handsome. Look at that smile, smile to die for. Angie is smitten with his smile & that nice set of teeth. Blessings to all.
ET said, the way Angie’s tummy looks right now, they say her due date maybe June or July.My guess is in August. Peace & blessings to all the fans.

Colonel Fawcett is a legend among us adventure fanatics. There was never any valid trace of him found, nor of his son and their associate who were with him. The strange thing is that all expeditions to find them (except one that involved Ian Fleming’s brother), even into our era, have disappeared, according to legend.
What Fawcett was looking for was a very ancient city of megalithic construction and rumored artificial light which was reported by Spanish soldiers of the 15th Century. If done well, it should be a hell of a movie.
