Brad Pitt takes the cover of Wired magazine for August 2009

Wired magazine is generally reserved for those of us who are technophiles, addicted to gadgets and technology (kind of like me). However, their August 2009 issue may just reach out to a whole new audience considering Wired has Brad Pitt on their cover!
Not only is it nice to see Brad’s good-looking face looking out from the cover, it’s especially fun because we get to see some of that famous Brad Pitt humor that we all love so much and don’t get to see nearly enough of!
Inside the article, Brad talks about things like proper etiquette in this digital age – with a funny slant to it!
On his thoughts of tweeting a picture of his wife’s butt like Ashton Kutcher did of Demi Moore: “Don’t take a picture of your wife’s butt. That’s silly. Take pictures of other people’s wives’ butts.”
On talking on the phone while taking a whiz: “No, you can’t talk on the phone! Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation? That’s why you should only text in the bathroom. Just be sure you don’t hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don’t want those followers.”
On sometimes awkward cyber dilemmas: “Who cares if your Warcraft wife is really a dude. If it’s good, don’t check under the hood.”
I *love* funny Brad. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve picked up an issue of Wired because I got to a point where I just needed to cut back on magazine purchases, but I think I’ll be scanning the shelves for this one!

Hilarious…! Reminds me of the goof-off interviews he used to have together with George Clooney (and Mat Damon) for the Oceans-movies.
I love the pic it’s so quirky. I love a guy who does not take himself so seriously. The quotes are hilarious.
On the other hand Angie takes the cover of SHE a magazine in London, my daughter sent it to me & got it the other day. It’s for July edition. She is so beautiful on the cover but it looks like an old picture of her. God bless the Jolie-Pitt family.

I think I remember AJ saying the BP has a great sense of humor. And that he should do more movies on the funny side. Something like Burn After Reading.

angela, I am so lucky that I have family members who lives & work all over the world. My daughter knows that I am an avid Angie fan so she picked up some gifts from London ( tote bag, shirt & Angie SHE magazine) when she went there for the weekend, actually, the interview was said before in other magazines the author is Gabrielle Donnely.I don’t know much about GD but here are some part of it: As well as raising this mini United Nations; maintaining a high profile marriage to the Sexiest Man Alive & pursuing a flourishing acting career,Angelina also travels the world as a Goodwill Amabassador for the UNHCR. And all this while avoiding the paparazzi who dog her every footsteps. So you might think that Angelina Jolie would just look a little bit…well…frazzled. But on the contrary. Serene,elegant & perfectly groomed…………
Angelina has matured into one of the friendliest & more relaxed actresses I have ever interviewed. The secret of her success, she says, is that ” I enjoy what I do”.
Angie also has so many nice things to say about Brad as a father in this interview but way too long to post everything.

There has never been a more beautiful couple than Angie and Brad. I often read some of the comments some people say about them. Unless you are God, you should look at yourself in a mirror and see that you are not perfect. Angie and Brad are doing a lot of good for a lot of people both foreign and domestic. Give them credit for that. They are doing a lot more than most. I do not see Donald (Trump) putting up money to help homeless refugees or rebuilding in New Orleans. Angie, Brad, you just keep being your beautiful selves and doing what you do best. The world is a better place with you in it.

Brad and Angie continue to be the most popular couple in the world. Their faces on a magazine mean heavy sales. I believe that this will continue for many years.
Thanks for this absolutely hilarious interview, Sherry! I think that I can buy Wired magazine here in Finland so I´m most definitely gonna buy this issue whenever it comes out here. Brad is so funny that´s it´s easy to imagine him goofing around with his children. They sure find him the funniest dad in the whole world. He´s not taking himself too seriously and can have fun on his own account. Wish there were more actors who could do the same. Angie sure is happy to have found such a wonderful man who has a great sense of humor. Wish to see them soon. Especially the children but naturally also Brad and Angie. God bless the JPs 4ever!

Received a letter from UNHCR, like a receip because my contribution is tax deductible, I don’t worry about that, just happy to help the refugees specially if it’s Angie’s charity.

Thanks for the photo’s that is one great photo shoot. Love the last one of him scanning in the “mag” and I also like the first one in the theater. Actually I really like them all, I just can’t decide. I love the fact they do good work but I really love it when they show their quirky side.
Brad is cool and I like his wicked sense of humor. Just realize that he is not answering as “Brad Pitt” he is answering in his “Basterd” character’s voice. Great photos though.

And S a m i – thank y o u for the link! I didn’ know about the alternative ending. It was qute and ironically a picture of what was to come for Angie and Brad ;o) But I think they made the better choice with the official ending. More clean, simple and in the same spirit as the rest of the movie.
People mag did a brief write-up today about the twins birthday. The kids helped bake 2 cakes for the twins and Brad’s parents flew in for the low key celebration at their home in L.A. Here’s the link.
