Brad Pitt Tapes Idol Gives Back Show on Sunday
Guess where Brad Pitt was on Sunday?
Although American Idol will be airing its Idol Gives Back episode on Wednesday, April 9th, the show was taped ahead of time on Sunday at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
As promised, Brad Pitt was at the Kodak Theater for the Idol Gives Back special. Looks like he’s gone back to hats!
Don’t forget to watch on Wednesday, check your local time listings. Also, if you haven’t been keeping up, you can check out Jeanne’s site, Idol Stalker for plenty of clips of the contestants this season - again, I can not stop talking about David Cook, he is incredible (and cute!).
The show raised a great deal of money last year and is expected to do the same and more this year. The money will be divided between helping children in Africa and children in the U.S., including the Make It Right campaign. A fair warning - if you’re anywhere near as emotional as I am, watch with a box of tissues, it’s a sad but powerful show!

So proud of him, appearing at the Kodak, this man is adored. The producers wanted to raise 100 million this year, and already they have received a pledge from the Prime Minster of England for 200 million. I am glad that the money will go here and internationally. This is will be a great show, and the good people will out number the big mouths who make fun of something like this. The people who complain all the time probably have never done anything good for someone else.

I was wrong, the necklace bear the word # 1 Dad. He is the # 1 Dad in the world.
I sure hope that they will raise more money this year than last year, nice to know it will help a lot of people. Go Brad, so proud of you.

Great cause, great reaction to him, great reaction from him. He does look so very young and almost bashful in many of the photos. I think he might have been a bit overwhelmed by the response to his presence ( and from the female technicians who helped him out). He got a standing ovation which went on for more than 30 seconds. I don’t watch American Idol, but will for him. Thanks.

Thanks for the pictures, he looks great. I saw a video @ AP site which shows clips of the taping. He was majorly cute, almost overcome with the reaction.

ET & Extra showed the clip last night & they will show it again tonight. People reacted by standing up & with the loudest claps from the audience, Brad brought the theater to each feet. He is more famous now ( with Angie ), Angie brought out the best of him. Love both of them.

Just watched American Idol Gives Back, Brad came out on the last part. I really hope, they raised more money, so they can help more people, they really needs the help that we can offer specially the children in Africa. I was overwhelmed with emotions when they showed the clips in Africa. My heart goes out to them.God bless. Nice show.
