Brad Pitt to continue rebuilding NOLA
September 27, 2007 by Sherry

While at the Clinton Global Initiative yesterday, Brad Pitt announced plans to build a new community of homes, continuing to rebuild the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. The objective is to create 150 low-cost sustainable homes. Both Brad Pitt and real estate developer Steve Bing have each pledged $5 million in contributions to the “Make It Right” project.
“The heart and soul of New Orleans, specifically the people of the Lower 9th Ward, are paramount to this project,” said Pitt. “The words of one elderly man who is determined to return to New Orleans led to the name of our organization: he asked us, directly simply and profoundly, to help make it right. So that’s what we’re doing. We’re going to help make it right with 150 sustainable, affordable houses—houses that stand out for their design both aesthetically and structurally, so that these people can live in beautiful safe structures that respect their spirit and provide a good quality of life.”

Way to Go Brad.
Very proud of his endeavour. Hope he gets lots of contirbutions from the gathered and those outside.
Bush should be ashamed of himself.
I manged to watch Brad’s presentation. He really held their attention and got the loudest and longest applaud afterwards. Virgin boss donated money for the first house immediately.
You can see both at the CGI website, Brad at the Luncheon session and Angie at the plenary.

I am filing for divorce. I wanted divorce three years ago but my husband did not agree. This time he agreed.
BRAD and ANGELINA are awesome. What they’re doing to make this world a better place is commendable. Got to love this two!
I can’t believe this governement. I am talkings, decades of them. Did they really think that we would turn a blind eye to the 9th ward? Did they think they could wipe out a generation & class of people? Thank goodness Brad & Angie have a conscience & generous heart. I wish them all the best. Thanks for doing what our government seems incapable of doing; helping THE people who NEED it the most.
I have to get divorce as soon as possible. I am going to go nuts if I stay in this marriage. I might even have to run away from home.
Way to go Brad!!!!! Any attention that can be brought to the plight of the people in New Orleans is for the good!

I am getting ready to put my property up for sale. It is 43 acres and a plantation home (large-6500 sq. ft) with another small home on the property. My home needs a large family and for some reason I am feeling that Brad and his family might be the ones. Please see that he sees this email. My property is a piece of heaven, but it is time to move on as I have lost most of my family which was already very small. My cell phone number is (580) 369-1850 Thank you, audrey ballon
