Brad Pitt turns photographer
Do any of you remember a year ago, give or take, when Brad Pitt went out with his camera and photographed some architecture? Apparently Brad is pretty handy with the camera, doing as good a job behind it as he does in front of one.
According to just about every fashion and style site out there, Brad Pitt photographed Angelina Jolie and the family for an original feature in W magazine.
W was the magazine behind the much-buzzed about “Domestic Bliss” shoot in 2005.

I just saw this on Justjared. I can’t wait to see these pictures. I wondered if the People/Hello pics were so minimum because of the W magazine coming out in November. But then I remembered that Angie and Brad talked so much about their “Sunday Sleeps” and the Mags’ pics showed that time; which I think was so great. They are such wonderful family. I know that Brad really love photography. We saw him filming their ski trip some months back. I also love that Angie has shown how much she supports his interest. She has stated in interviews that she hoped he would devote more time on them more in the future… especially since he has such an eye for design and art. I will get the mag as soon as possible… I really, really, really want to see them on the Red Carpet. It is hard to believe that we really have not seen Angie for almost 2 or 3 months.

W editor said 2005’s W shoot was Brad’s idea. I think this new photoshoot must be his idea,too.
2005’s W shoot was about an unhappy marriage with quintuplets boys with blond hairs from 1950’s. It reminded me J.F.Kennedy and Jackie. The facade still looks well but inside has many cracks and the couple’s lack of communication led wife’s attempt of suicide in W.
2008’s W shoot featuring Angie with their diverse children must be opposite of 2005’s mother and children. Motherhood is a calling for Angie and Brad will keep her happiest moments in her life on the photos forever. It shows how Brad loves and respects Angie and how he feels happy with her.

There are 2 critics talking about Angie as an actress. Julia Roberts had a same problem as her and was overexposured by media when she was younger. She had been underestimated by critics because of her persona in media but she proved her acting abilitity by winning Oscar. I hope Angie’s work in Changelling will be valued rightly.
I think US people are too much into gossip media and even movie critics like to read trash stories before watching movies. It reflects reader’s own life rather than the celebs featured in media.

really? aww… i can’t wait for the mag already. i love seeing family photo of them, i think i’m getting more excited to see the kids than brad and angie. haha. and it’s really good to hear that angie is supportive of brad’s other hobbies such as photography and art.

I’ll take fashion and style sources over tabloids any day. This is exciting news, I can’t wait to see it.
Brad is a renaissance man to match Angelina’s renaissance woman. Life partner, father, humanitarian, philanthropist, architecture and design buff, art (including avant garde furniture) collector, actor, photographer – there’s no limit to what Brad can do.
Brad reminds me of another renaissance man – actor Viggo Mortensen. (I caught Eastern promises the other day – excellent movie, brutal and non-gratuitous violence.) Viggo is handsome and a great actor, but mostly I admire him for his beliefs – for peace, against war (he showed up at a few demonstrations), anti-sweatshop union man. He wore a shirt that looked like it was made out of the UN flag to one of his Lord of the Rings premieres – taking advantage of all the media attention just like Angelina and Brad. Like Brad, Viggo’s a great father and photographer, as well as a poet, musician, painter and writer. And he speaks 7 languages.

I’ve read a couple of articles about a woman who works as an Angelina Jolie impersonator – I think this is her, http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1573491712/rg1489672704 . There’s only one Angelina, as the saying goes, they broke the mold when they made her. But imo, this impersonator looks more like Angelina than megan fox does.

U.S. fashion magazine W commissioned the movie hunk to show off his lensman skills for the publication’s upcoming November issue.
And one of the vintage cameras collector Pitt used for the candid family photos was a Littman 45 Jolie gave him as a birthday gift.

I just want to say hope this relationship would last forever and prove to their detractors that they are destine to be husband and wife. from THS i found out the role for Jane Smith is supposed to be for nicole kidman but apparently it goes to angie.. so it means that destiny make them to be together… and as i review the mr. and mrs smith, u can see on brad’s eye on how she adore angie… angie is gemini and brad is sagittarius so the are compatible. for those people saying that angie is homewrecker, well your accusation is wrong, its not angie’s fault, if really brad loves jen so much he will take for sacrifice, or they will undergo for married counseling to avoid their marriage to last. sometimes in a relationship, there certain point that you will feel ur self to be falling out of love to ur partner and this is how happens to brad and jen… sad to say end up this way… it is a matter of good communication because in a relationship there is always give and take and you have to put some spicy to make ur love and sex be alive …. good luck to jolie-pitt family and blessed them always.

Am I the only one who think even the idea of him taking pics of Angie for magazine so fukcing hot and romantic? I don’t know why but I find this very sweeet of Brad.
hope Angie will give him bed eyes,you know like when she gave that to Brad in late night. I hope Brad had timer and will be in some of the pics as well.

I really hope this story is true!
If it is the November issue then does that mean it comes out in October? If the story is true then it is probably promotion for the Changeling which comes out at the end of October.

I was just thinking that Brad has blossomed so much with Angelina. He probably had all these interests before, but didn’t have the support and encouragement Angelina gives him. So we didn’t know how well-rounded he is.

They’re sold at Borders and Barnes & Noble, Mary Ann. The issue is dated November, so I think it will come out in late October sometime. You can call B&N, sometimes they have a magazine person who can tell you when that particular issue will come in. They’ll hold magazines for you at the cashier as long as you buy them the same day you reserve them.

Ligaya, it was EW’s video and not an article. In the video 2 critics discussed about Angie as an actress.
2005’s W shoot was for Mr&Mrs Smith promotion and featured a unhappy married couple who both have lost passion of love as John and Jane did.
2008’s W will be for Changeling promotion and the theme of photoshoot will be a mother’s love toward her children. Changeling is a story of a mother’s love toward her kidnapped son.
We cannot be together forever but we can enjoy the moments of being together and that memory cannot be killed.
This is also related to the theme of CCOBB and Tree of Life.

Here’s the link that worked for me of the video Sunny posted about. It’s EW’s 2 senior critics. I agree with both of them - Angelina kicks ass in action movies, and she’s also a wonderful dramatic actress. And no, it’s not a stretch for Angelina to take serious roles - she can do everything. But I agree the tabloid saturation is a problem for both Brad’s and Angelina’s continued ability to play other people.

Yeah! I’m so happy I have a subscription to W. I was so disappointed I couldn’t find the “Domestic Bliss” issue in any stores in 2005, (found out the hard way were it was sold) that I subscriped to it. Can’t wait to see his family through his and
Angies eyes because thats when we will see their true happiness. Don’t get me wrong any pic of them would make me happy but this will really be true domestic bliss! I agree with you Ligaya, the trash mags create too hype that can have a adverse effect on their careers. I to listen to the critics regarding Angie in action verses serious roles. Good thing I can think for my self and choose what movies I would prefer to see and not rely on someone elses opinion on what is best for me. She is more than capable in any role she chooses. I do like her in action movies more but thats my favorite type of movies, other than sci-fi. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t action movies a bit on the serious side? I mean it takes alot of serious acting to do such physical roles. Just because action movies aren’t necessarily realistic (as in couldn’t happen, really) does not mean the actors are any less talented. Or the roles they play are any less important than say, a serious thespian. I’d would much rather see more exicting, non-realistic movie or comedy than movies that replay something sad or serious that writers and critics think we should pay good money for when I can pick up a paper and get a gut full of that every day. I would much rather have fun and forget real world drama for awhile and be entertained. After all isn’t that what going to the movies is all about!! I can’t wait to see Burn after Reading, it looks so hilarious. I love it when Brad looks like he is having fun. By the way, the Changeling may be a serious movie and as a mother of 3 probably will make me cry. But I’m all over that movie too!!

I can’t wait to get W to see those pic, the best thing about it that he took those pic. I love them both, and how Angie encourage his passions, she is gemini, I am also a gemini we let our men be free to enjoy thier lives, men love that, we do not tear them down. I only buy mag if they’re giving the inervew, I only trust it when they say it.
