Brad Pitt visits Berlin

Aha! Finally a little bit of news, even though it’s still just a snippet, a teaser for us. As far as we know, Angelina Jolie is still in Prague to film her movie, Wanted, but with school being out and no drop-offs or pick-ups to do, we hadn’t seen any sign of Brad Pitt either.
It turns out that Brad Pitt was in Berlin, Germany on Monday night. He dined with some friends (male friends, before anyone worries!) at a restaurant called Bandol Sur Mer.
It’s still unsure as to his reason for visiting. I will be sure to let you all know if there’s any further updates. Wouldn’t it be fun if Angelina and the kids flew out to Berlin to join Brad for another little mini vacation if she got some time off from filming?

Wanted?

Does anyone know when Wanted is going to wrap up the Prague part of this shoot? It has to be anytime now…
Me thinks Brad slipped away to get in some quick work/meetings with his architecture partners before they head off for their mini vacation.

Thanks, Sherry.
In other Jolie-Pitt news, our fave couple was discussed in last Sunday’s Personality Parade. Parade has been running a poll, you can vote here (I think you can vote multiple times) - http://www.parade.com/index.jsp. The results will be published this Sunday.
Here’s the reader’s question that prompted the poll:
Q. Angelina Jolie told PARADE that she and Brad Pitt want more kids. Then why don’t they want to get married?
—F.P., Trenton, N.J.
A. Jolie says she and Pitt are legally bound to their children (four so far) but haven’t committed to a legal union because both failed at marriage before. That doesn’t make much sense to us. We think a couple who are committed to each other generally make better parents than those who are not. What do you think? Tell us in the comments section below.
POLL: http://www.parade.com/index.jsp
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are unwed and raising children. Do you believe married couples make better parents?
ANSWERS % OF VOTE
Yes, committed couples make better parents. 55%
No, being married doesn’t make you a better parent. 45%
When I first voted NO last Sunday, the vote was evenly split 50-50.

From JJ it reads that Brad met with his architect friends and had dinner with them. I hope to see pictures of Angie and kids soon. I miss them. I thought they bought an apartment in Berlin last year too.

That was denied by Cindy (Brad’s people). VF used that rumour to publicise their launch of German VF! I believe!

Prague and Berlin are not that far. I think Brad can just drive there and meet his friends and drive back to his little family on the same day.

Winnie the Pooh - I never know for sure what causes certain comments to be flagged for moderation, but I check them every morning, and sometimes in the early evening to set them through. Yours took so long because it looks like it was left in the late night in my time zone so I couldn’t put it through - I was sleeping! :)
I just wanted to let you know, it wasn’t that I was purposely ignoring you, just that I can’t always allow comments right away because I’m either busy with other things or else it’s late at night in my time zone but I will definitely get to them in the morning!

as much as i want to be liberal , i do believe in marriage , a commitment in front of GOD. afterall this is a match made in heaven so why not , they should really consider it.

Well, my opinion is that a commitment of marriage is not always a commitment in front of God, for people who do not believe in God but that it is important. It is not everything in a relationship however, and just because two people aren’t married legally does not mean they are not commited - to each other or to their children. So my answer would be NO, I don’t think that married parents make better parents simply on the basis that they are married. I am married (we got married on our 10 year anniversary) and have 2 young daughters and our commitment to them did not change by getting married.
Thanks for the info on Brad Sherry!

Did he bring his motorcycle in Prague? That’s very convenient to go from one place to another.
I am Catholic & I believe in marriage but I also believe that without the sacrament of matrimony, you can be the best parents you can be to your children, it’s the commitment to be parents. Brad & Ange, they put their children first before everything.

to charlene: if your commitment was stable for past 10yrs why did you get marry? i said nothing about marriege making better parents, i just believe marriage would give them a stronger bond,

Hello Ligaya:
Blast from the past:
http://www.accesshollywood.com/news/ah5986.shtml#
Scroll down to the Angelia Archives video.
Is it any wonder that she is leary of marriage when she felt so sure of it lasting before? She knows that she’ll never abandon her kids so for them it is a better chance of success to focus on what they are good at: Family and parenting.

I do believe in marriage and a blessing under God but I don’t think that the simply fact of “being” married will make you a “better parent”!
It is also not right to force your beliefs on others. These two have both been through, for them, “traumatic” experiences where matrimony is concerned and if they do not feel the need to experience it again who are we to insist otherwise.
Afterall we are not the ones who will be in the relationship.
So far I have seen more committment to each other, than I ever saw when they were married to others. They are both older, wiser and obviously have learnt to compromise-meet the other in the middle! This is a great ingredient in any relationship; add children and bond will grow stronger and hopefully stay strong.
And I wish them this!
