Brad Pitt Vs. The Paparazzi

So far today, the only headline I’ve been seeing everywhere about the Jolie-Pitt family is one where Brad Pitt finally loses his cool with the paparazzi. The story goes that Brad was out shopping with Zahara, and a pap not only started snapping pictures but used a short lens and got right up in their faces. After becoming more and more agitated, allegedly Brad lost it. A “source” or a “witness” said:
“This paparazzi guy was right in his face taking pictures. Brad grabbed the guy by the collar and said, ‘Get the f**k away from me!’”
I don’t believe it at all right now, not because I think Brad is so perfect that he never loses his temper - I just don’t believe it because none of the reputable sources have reported it. I’ve only seen it on a ton of blogs and a couple of tabloid-ish sites.
That being said, whether I believe it or not, if it ever did happen - and frankly I can’t believe it doesn’t happen more often with a lot of celebrities - I wouldn’t blame Brad one bit. I mean, I’m not into violence unless it’s just on a television or movie screen, so I wouldn’t condone beating the crap out of a photographer, but I wouldn’t blame Brad if he did someday grab someone and tell them where to stick their camera. He has repeatedly stated that he understands that people are interested in him, in Angelina, and in their kids and that he understands people want pictures. All he has ever asked is that photographers have the courtesy and respect to keep their distance and use zoom lenses to take photos when they’re out with their kids.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are both very gracious when they walk the red carpet, do interviews, attend events, and do photocalls. I see no reason for paparazzi to continue to hound the children - the Jolie-Pitt children, Violet Affleck, Suri Cruise, Kingston Rossdale, all of them - with short lenses, screaming in their faces. Some countries have laws to protect the children of celebrities from that sort of thing, and I wish they would start enforcing something like that here.
Mary-Louise Parker has spoken out about it too, disgusted by the way the paparazzi hunt after Brad, her co-star. She said:
“I think it’s inhumane. The media’s gotten more and more salacious, they’re just ruthless.
“As people, I think it’s our duty to protect children at whatever cost and they really exploit the children of celebrities, especially their (Jolie and Pitt’s) children, at whatever cost to get a picture of them (sic).
“It feels really immoral to me. It’s not fair for them. I think they actually handle it well.”
I wholeheartedly agree. I love the pictures - red carpet and candid, the two of them and the kids - but surely there is a better way to get those shots we all love to see without going overboard and stepping on toes.
So no, I don’t believe Brad actually snapped at a photographer, but sometimes I really wish he would. I’d certainly still be a fan.

I Dont Believe The Story Either. I Dont Think Brad Would Speak That Way In Front Of Zahara. Hes Confronted Photogs B4 But He Was Cool About It And Never Cursed. What I Dont Understand Is Why They Get In The Kids Faces When They Have Long Lens Cameras? Thats Probably So Scary 4 Kids
Paps may respect a long distance from kids faces, is annoying for them.
I know its been said before, but the paps are such parasites. It must be horrible to be them. They must really envy the people they photograph.
I don’t believe it in a million years. Brad never & will not do that, he is such a gentleman & well mannered person to lose a temper specially when he is out with his daughter or any of his kids. He is such a good example to his kids, tabloids reported it so it must be tabloid trash. I really miss the Jolie-Pitt’s. God bless them.
Yes Sherry, this sounds like another tabloid write up. Anything to sell since Brad and Angie are laying low at the moment.
Good for Brad! I applaud him for standing up to those damn pappz. He should have knocked them out, next time they will think about it before they get up in his face like that…lol I hate it when they are so relentless and the children are around. (More laws against protecting children from these scoundrals).
I rarely believe what I read about Jolie and Pitt when it doesn’t come from reputable sources and it doesn’t concern their social change work. Pittwatch, SoulieJolie, and AngelinaJolieWatch are the only online sites I believe really seek out the truth.
That being said, I understand perfectly how Pitt could go ape when someone (paps especially) invades Zahara’s space. As is often reported (by reputable sources), Zahara is terrified of camera wielding vultures. What is Zahara’s Daddy supposed to do when people frighten his daughter? Every little girl needs to know her daddy don’t play that siht.
Brad and Angelina are REAL parents. I’m sure their children - like yours and mine - have heard them say bad words. I can see Brad deliberately - for Zahara’s benefit - saying, ” Get the f— away.” The message he may have been sending - to Zahara, on purpose - was that “Daddy gets really upset when people do things to upset you., and, I WILL kick their asses.”
The f-word is a very useful word under certain circumstances. And the Jolie-Pitts have never postured as saints.
That’s why I love them. If he did say, “Get the f out of our faces, ” I say, more power to you, Brad.
When they got home and told Angie, Maddox, Pax and Shiloh what happened, I bet Zahara said, ” . . then Daddy said get the f- away,” and they all had the kind of laugh we’ve all had with our children that we don’t tell everybody else about.
You go, Brad. You’re raising daughters and sons who’re going to tell a bunch of insensitive pieces of useless humanity to get the f out of their faces. Maddox taught Zahara to give the paps the evil eye. Zahara (from photos ) appears to be teaching Pax, and they’re all going to teach Shiloh.
I bet Zahara went to bed after that incident real proud of her daddy, and feeling really, really safe.
I dont believe it too. Brad is too much gentlemen and too intelligent to do it. He knows that it changes nothing if he smash a pab… only bad publicity…
On the other hand, as you say, I could understand if he would do so and not blame him. Not to forget grabbing a guy by the collar is not the worst way you can react to a pab

Even if Brad did say that who cares? He has every right to say what he wants especially when it comes to his children i mean, i think i’d get a bit fed up if i had a camera shoved under my nose EVERY time i went out too.. He’s just a person like the rest of us..and we all have bad days lol i guess if it was me the pap might’ve got more than just a collar-grabbing
Rach, you are right he is just like us but remember he is a celebrity & a very famous one, everything he do will be in the news wether tabloids or a reputable mags. They can’t escape the glitter of HW but they can always behaved like a good example to others. God bless them. I have to go now, need to go to work.
I don’t think Brad would do that in front of Zee. More and more these people are out of control. Yes, I like seeing the pictures also, and miss not seeing the children, but not at the expense of them being frightened. Also, I would worry that some nut would try to get up close and hurt them. I give all these stars alot of credit for holding their tempers. Most of them just want to live their lives as normal as possible. When they are on the red carpet that is a different story. Sherry you are right as usual, long lens and we will still get to see them. We have not seen the children in a long time and I am sure this is the reason.

hello everybody. you know i think maybe brad made that but i think it’s natural because he is a dad and a dad could make “mistakes” to protect his kids. you know, i saw on souliejolie.com pics of brad and Z from the 4th february. they went out for shopping in L.A. . Z wore a cute pink coat. maybe it’s this day that brad “made that” cause in one of the pic we can imagine that the pap is very close…
love them so much, i don’t want somebody to disturb them, especially the kids.

The best reason not to believe this is that there are no pictures of it. As someone said, there are pictures of him with Zahara from X17, not the most reputable photo agency. If this had happened, you know they would be screaming about it and not two weeks later.
Yes, Brad Pitt is human and could very well have said this, but he was holding his daughter in his arms and would in no way put her in harm’s way while jerking some paparazzi around, even if they deserved it.
Mr. Pitt knows he is always in the press and also knows this would not be wise. His daughter looked frightened enough and if he had done this, she most likely would have been screaming. Also, another witness said that Brad handled himself well and spent most of the time reassuring Zahara, not wasting his time on the photog. It was on another blog last week, when it actually happened, not two weeks later. That is the story I choose to believe, not something from E, which has a thing against them anyway.
they are reporting this story on EOnline…. and I totally believe that this could happen. Nice well spoken people swear all the time…even in front of their kids… I hope they can get some laws passed soon to end this relentless hounding of the Brangelin’s….
one thing is sure, if brad really did this, the paps deserve it anyway.

I don’t know if it’s true. But, as a parent, I would lose it if someone tried to hurt my children (like a lens). Children must absolutely be off limits. What do the Jolie-Pitt’s to do? Sue all the pappaRATzee’s? I’ve seen Brad turned the lens around (I think) and if a particular guy was abusing them, he’d have it on film. I know people
will say kids are “fair game” but I believe it is child abuse from the photographer’s. It’s not the Jolie-Pitt’s fault; they want to do “normal” things with their kids (like any family). They have every right to do so. I stay away from rags-mags and prefer coming here. This is a great site for info and positive thinkers and feedback.
whether it happends or no, we all are people, and stay calm in front of pap cams, to my mind, it is very difficult.

Yeah i know he’s a role model but all i am saying is if he does behave in ways we all would it’s not so shocking..sometimes i’m just in awe at how these 2 “A-Lister’s” can be so normal like you and i and doing so many things to try and help disadvantaged people..using their names and their fame to do good..even when i see things like this that might’ve potentially happened i don’t think it’s so bad..it just proves they’re normal like the rest of us! This couple are unique and i love them

Ok, ok I was kinda harsh in my last comment, but the pappz should know better. I know Brad would get in trouble for roughing up the pappz, but they would deserve it…lol Brad is so respectful to the pappz when they want pics of him, without the children, but if the pappz see the children are scared why would they still persue them? Instead, they are still taking pictures and scaring the kids (that is sick).
The pappz need an intervention and the law must step in and protect the kids. Look at (Adnan) Brits boytoy, now he sees what kind of a fool he was when he was a photog and he is fighting with the other photogs for peace…lol (he is so stupid)
fan thanks a lot for sharing these pictures, it is blurry but anything about the Jolie-Pitt’s are good news than none at all. Shi has grown a lot, she seems like her daddy is talking to her, Pax has grown a lot too, where are the pictures of mommy Ange , Z & Mad? What are they going to do in Santa Barbara. going on a short vacation? Just got back from watching “SpiderWick” with my oldest g-son, he enjoyed the movie, I told him next time, I will bring him to watch Kung Fu Panda on June 6. they showed the trailer.It is a good movie specially Ange’s voiced the Tigress.

I saw one picture of Shiloh & daddy is holding her hand walking towards the plane, Shi has grown a lot, OMG, she is a tall tot for her age. They are probably in Texas or MO. right now.
