Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Status
Just to keep you up to date, today I checked in on Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Campaign over on the official site.
So far, enough donations have come in to cover a full 65 of the 150 homes that they need. That’s almost half, and that’s not counting the partial home donations. Of course, it’s not JUST us, but I know that many of you rose to the challenge I set forward back in December, so just think about that. Some day a family will be living in a fresh, new, eco-friendly and affordable home and it will be partially thanks to you and your help and support.
I’m sure that Brad is proud to see everyday people coming together to help New Orleans in ways that no one else did. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored so far, and consider this some encouragement to those of you who want to help but haven’t done it yet - even a five dollar donation does help, these stats are the proof of that!
If the donations keep coming in as quickly as they have been, soon Brad and Pax can visit the work site to see full houses going up!

I donated a small amount but the thought that counts. It’s for a good cause. Summer or early Spring, they will start building the houses, a lot of people will be moving to a very new & eco friendly homes soon. I will check if the pink tote bag is already available, I will purchase one. I will be proud carrying that bag knowing it helps the Katrina victims in some way.

I donated only $20 because I live on social security, but I guess every bit helps and I want to help because I believe in what Brad is doing.

Hi Sherry,
I also got a thank you note signed by Brad. It was a printed generic mailing with his signature for my small contribution. Thanks for the update.

Credit to Roo26 and jmms80 from jjb. They provided this link/story about the JP’s. Too bad there were no pics.

Neela, How come she didn’t mention seeing Pax? Brad & Pax were seen at NOLA on New Year’s eve, when was this sighting?

Irma, that same question was raised by somebody else on the board. I’m not really sure why she didn’t mention Pax. Maybe the kiddo was home sick or maybe asleep? :) The sighting was a couple of days ago, as indicated on that blog. Also, somebody posted a short article on the Pitt clan’s trip to the restaurant. I think the date on that article was today or yesterday. It was mentioned that 11 grandkids were there. Apparently, they had dinner at a pizza place. Pretty cool.

Yeah, the sighting was on Jan 2nd. So, the timing’s not off. :)

imdbuser and gull1 from jjb posted the article on the sighting (which essentially supports the blogger’s encounter). So, credit goes to them. Here’s the article:

Thanks for the information. It seems the blogger just forget to add Pax. He’s a little one so maybe he walked in with another one of his cousins. Great that the Jolie Pitts are hanging out with Brad’s family.

I just ordered the pink tote bag from Brad’s site, cost me $29.81 for the small tote, my small way to help. I also donated a small amount on x-mas day for the foundation.

Unfortunately the people still have to get loans and finance these homes. Check out the Terms on the Make it Right site.

I just donated $30. It makes me so happy to contribute even a little to this worthy cause and I truly hope Make It Right reaches its goal! Also, I rented A Mighty Heart last night. It was so moving and intense; Angie’s performance is truly spectacular.
