Brad Pitt’s New Alice Segment

There’s yet another installment in the Alice series of commercials featuring Brad Pitt. Even with not understanding the language, this one definitely made me giggle as Brad prepares to finally leave, only to discover a bit of a surprise when he opens the front door.

Ok, I’ll leave a translation…
So, Brad stands up and heads toward the door with that german man after him, who calls his wife and says, something like:” Honey, he really wants to leave now.” And the reaction of his wife and the daughter is quite, well,… obvious…They both start blabbering about some kind of a taxi-strike (again) and that they don’t want Brad to get in the middle of something like that and so on. But the man just lets Brad get outside and…well, you got that part, I guess…lol. (that cake made giggle…!) Then the woman behind Brad whispers: “You can get to people real quickly by the Alice-service”. She sounded like she just realized, she might have done something…wrong.
They just close the door, and the man says: “Coffe, anyone?” (P.S. You probably got that, too. It’s called “Kaffe” in German).
That’s deffinetely a good one. And Brad’s expressions are just hilarious, aren’t they !
Yeah they are good ads, and yes Brad’s fave in the last two are good. They are all good in it, and yes the cake and the camera phone mademe laugh. the way Brad was trying to make a run for it .. wow those ads gave me a good giggle. It was also good to see his shaggy look again I find I liked that look.

Yes, I think the “Alice” service provides internet, phone and maybe tv services, so in this ad they mention you can call mobile’s on the internet (ie she called her friends about him being there). In Germany they call a mobile phone a ‘handi’ which is cute. When the dad is ranting on in the one before he uses the word ‘gyle’ when impersonating his wife and daughter, which means sexy. You may have worked this stuff out - apologies if so.
