Brad Pitt’s new movie hitting two festivals
Brad Pitt’s upcoming movie, The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford is being sent to two film festivals, which is great news. Predictions have been made for awhile that this movie won’t be a huge box office hit, and I can see how that might be true because as much as I love Brad, westerns don’t always have a huge turn out in theaters. However, the film has been added to the list of movies to be shown at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, as well as being shown at Venice’s 75th Anniversary Film Festival.
Both film fests, being fairly prestigious, will mean more exposure for Brad’s movie, and that’s definitely a good thing.
It’s unknown at this time whether Brad will make an appearance at either festival. I haven’t heard of any set plans for him to travel to either one, but of course you can imagine that the organizers would be thrilled if he did show up!

Am not a great western fan either. :( Apart from Pale Rider, Dances with Wolves & Westworld; I have not really sat through any a second time.
But they say AOJJ is more drama than another “shoot ‘em up” western. so I think I will be seeing it.

Wow, it looks like it is going to be a big hit, I am definitely going to watch it.
I hope, Brad will attend the 2 events with Angelina with him, this time minus the children.

The last time he went to the festival in Canada for the Babel promo, he went alone because Angie with kids were still filming in India. This time Angie might show up with him. It will be great since the tabs are at it again with this so-called Bermuda triangle. Put in Gwen too, then the tabs will thank Brad forever.

The Toronto and Venice film festivals are HUGE - the only film festival more important is the mother of them all - CANNES.
I’m guessing Brad will go to both festivals to promote AOJJ - he’s not only the star, he’s one of the producers.
