Brangelina Baby Pics for UNICEF
We heard about this Brangelina baby photo deal weeks ago, but Brad and Angelina have supposedly signed a deal with a weekly magazine for $5 million US (2.6 million pounds UK) to go to UNICEF in exchange for exclusive photos of the Brangelina baby.
If you remember, People Magazine said this report about the picture deal wasn’t so - and perhaps it was said because the deal wasn’t with them, as we all assumed it would be. It is widely being reported now that the winner of the bidding war was US Weekly.
Whoever it was, we are assured some great pics and UNICEF is insured some great money for their hard work! Way to go everyone involved!

This rumor is a good example of how things get twisted on the web (not refering to you, i love this site)
Here’s the original story from the Mirror (a UK Tabloid)

The couple - who are rumoured to be planning a Namibian wedding - are said to have struck a deal with a US weekly magazine for the first pictures of the baby.
“They’ve signed a £2.6million deal with a publication and the money will go to children’s charity UNICEF,” a source close to the couple says.

Notice the *a*? Not “US Weekly”, but “a US Weekly”. Meaning a US Magazine.
SO JUSTJARED puts the story up on his site, but omits the all important *a*, and it’s now everyone thinks it’s “US Weekly”.
And the funniest part is, the original story was probabaly MADE UP by the Mirror.
I’d bet my house that People Magazine gets the exclusive pictures.

You are probably right about all of it - but it did throw me when People denied it a few weeks ago, so I wouldn’t quite go betting the house, just yet. ;)
