Burn After Reading Photocall at Venice Film Festival

Brad Pitt sported one of his trademark hats at the photocall for Burn After Reading this morning at the Venice Film Festival. He was joined by his co-stars, and as usual, he seemed to be having a good time with George Clooney.
Burn After Reading will help to launch the Film Festival later; still high hopes that Angelina Jolie will show up for the red carpet. But if she doesn’t, we know Brad will still look great strutting his stuff.

Both Brad Pitt and George Clooney look very fresh and happy after last night’s Not On Our Watch charity dinner so I guess that means it was a success – and also not too late of a night!

Brad Pitt: ‘The Twins Are Fine’

Two months after of the birth of Knox and Vivienne, Brad Pitt told reporters at a Venice press conference Wednesday, “The twins are fine.”
He then raised his water glass like a toast, and took a sip.
Pitt and his pal George Clooney are in Italy’s City of Bridges to promote their film Burn After Reading, which has its world premiere Wednesday night at Venice’s annual film festival.
Pitt had arrived Tuesday with sons Maddox and Pax, while Clooney – who owns a home on Lake Como – told reporters he’d been in Italy “for a couple of months.”
The pair joked their way through the press conference, knocking back personal questions with charm – and a few winks.
Asked if he planned on getting married and having children, Clooney, 47, said: “I am so surprised to hear that question. This honestly is the first time I’ve ever been asked that question. I’m getting married and having children today.”
Added 44-year-old Pitt: “And until then, I’ll be sharing mine with him.”
Then – in response to a question about how many kids were enough – Angelina Jolie’s other half wisecracked, “I’ll have two more by next year.”
Together an Awful Lot
Clooney, who noted he and Pitt only had one scene together in Burn After Reading – which is the first movie from the Coen Brothers since their Oscar-winning No Country for Old Men – joked that his frequent costar was sitting at the opposite end of the dais “because there’s a restraining order.”
The pair did get serious, however, when asked whether they’d prefer to be in Venice or in Denver, for the Democratic National Convention.
“I’m happy to be here. This is one of my favorite places in the world to be,” Clooney said. “I like to watch the conventions on TV. I think the stars of the convention should be the people who are being elected.”
As for the upcoming election, he added, “I’m pessimistic, but I’m optimistic. I think it’s a very exciting time in American politics.”
Pitt chimed in: “I’m optimistic, too. It’s a vital time. It’s a defining time. I’m excited about where things are going.”
It’s so great to have our favorite guy back on the seen. I can’t wait for the W magazine photos to hit the internet, we get to see more great pics of our favourite celeb family. I hope angie doesn’t show up to the premere she needs her rest and the babies are breast feeding and as she said at the same time. It’s going to be hard to leave them at home. I also want to comment that I love that she’s breast feeding you never hear celeb mom’s talk about that and I think it’s wonderful I did it with my son and loved every minute of it. I is so fullfilling to know that you can nurish your child from your own body. But I’m rambling it’s great to see Brad at this event and you can always see the comarderie between him and George, it’s great to see.
Brad and George seem really to enjoy their time together…where are the kids? enjoying Venice?
The older they get the better both of them are looking. I’am still not crazy about Brad and his hats, but if they make him happy so be it.

shiloh and knox are the one’s that look a lot like BRAD. OH BOY GEORGE AND BRAD TOGETHER IS A NEVER ENDING HAPPINESS. JOKING BACK AND FORTH . I LOVE THIS TWO. EVERYONE IS HOPING FOR ANGIE TO SHOW UP, BUT THE BABIES NEEDS MOMMIE. THEY ARE STILL BEING BREAST FEED, AS THEY GROW OLDER, THE FEEDING IS CERTAINLY MUST NEEDED.IGNORE THE NAYSAYER.
i think shiloh got brad’s eyebrows and blue eyes, but the rest, it’s angie’s – so it’s definitely a combination of them.
btw, he look so yummy and his suit looks comfy.
i had a great laugh on his joke about having another two next year.
