Catching up with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and the kids

Whew! I can barely keep up with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and their kids. They make me tired, just watching them. In very little time, the family has gone from New York’s Film Festival to New Orleans, then to the airport, where they flew back to Nice. Sheesh, I would love just a third of their energy, please.
Let’s try to catch up, shall we? First, courtesy of x17online.com, we have a video clip of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Maddox, and Pax hanging out in New Orleans. It’s a bit long, but there’s some cute stuff in there, especially when they’re playing.
Meanwhile, Popsugar has photos of the Jolie-Pitt family getting off the plane, back in Nice, France.
With Brad Pitt due to start filming Inglorious Bastards in Berlin very soon, I guess they decided to unwind back at their privacy-enhanced chateau in France first. That will be great, because while we all enjoy videos like the one above, there’s no denying that the family must be much happier when the kids can play without cameras around, no matter how far away they might be.
It is really nice to see another family with six kids. Especially with the boys just being boys. Makes me not feel so abnormal.
Thanks, Sherry – can’t ever be too long for me, lol. I love videos even more than photos because it’s ‘live action.’ Looks like Maddox takes after Gene Kelly in “Singing in the Rain,” and he uses the umbrella like a lightsaber or sword sometimes. That’s the best kind of play – using the imagination, no need for expensive toys. It’s funny how he’s a little disobedient and resists Angie when she wants the umbrella, and how he stumbles backwards because of mom’s superior strength.
Some guy or someone pretending to be a guy said in a blog that the kids are just accessories to Angelina – obviously not paying attention. Angelina hops from Pax to Maddox and back to keep them spinning. And look how Angelina hugs Pax when holding him. I’m glad one of the security guys stepped into the line of sight of the camera so that Pax and Angelina could be private when Pax seemed upset about something.
Great video, I loved it.
To me, it showed that the Pax and Mad are just two typical absolutely regular crazy boys.
What I also found quite funny is that they both seem kind of like bad-asses ! Dressed in their camouflage gear, running around making trouble. So cute. I prefer that then the little lord fauntleroy types, personally.

Thanks for video. Did u see pics of them returning to France? Shiloh is already as tall as Pax and Zahara;she will be stuningly beautiful when grows up.
Angie is so normal and down to earth (unlike so many celebrities), I dont get why tabloids in US hating her so much?? We love her here in UK!!
This video told me more about Brad and Angie than anything else I have ever seen. They were acting and being treated as normal every day people like us. When it appeared they were getting ready to leave a group of gentlemen must have called out goodbye to Angie and she ran over to them and gave one of them a big hug and then I guess they wanted a group picture and she stayed with them for a long time. No Hollywood air kisses, real hugs and kisses to these people there. And the affection between her and Brad was so natural. As for the boys, so glad to see them being silly and having so much fun. You could see the security people but they did not appear to have any thing to be worried about.

Apparently, the couple wanted to ripple the political waters with their visit, too.
“With just a handful of weeks before the presidential election, they wanted to subtly remind everyone that New Orleans is still in recovery mode,” says another friend and Louisiana local. “Their visit right now was not an accident. They knew by popping into town, with pictures of Brad walking through the damaged neighborhoods, New Orleans would again be in the headlines. They are very savvy that way.”
Brad and Angie aren’t saying outright who to vote for. “They’re just saying, you know, think about which party might really do this region the most good before you cast your ballot,” the friend adds.
Wow, this is a REAL family in action, kids being kids and being disobedient and the gentle way Angie deals with this. I have been there and done that with my family and I continue to be amazed and the down home way Angie and Brad deal with their kids. Brangelina forever!

Wake Up Everybody: A Review of the Katrina Devastation

I love that video! If that doesn’t say “normal family” I don’t know what does! It makes me sick the way the tabs are always hating on them!
I noticed that one of last week’s tabloid covers had on the sidebar the headline of “Brangelina: Forcing the kids to move AGAIN!”. If the family HADN’T accompanied Brad to Germany for the filming of his movie (I’m guessing that’s what they were referring to), the tabloids almost certainly would have printed things like: “Trouble for Brad and Angie?” and “Brad abandons his family!” (as it is, one tab IS pretty much reporting the latter this week!).
Brad and Angie can’t win no matter what they do! Oh, and I also have to chuckle at the fact that the adoption rumors are already beginning (one tabloid is reporting this week that they want to adopt a girl from Haiti who is younger than Z)…When Angie JUST SAID a few days ago that they are going to wait a little while before adding to their family!
I have this theory that most of the tabloids are run by Jennifer Aniston fans (not that I have anything against her!)!

Those photos taken both in NO and Paris are priceless. It´s easy to see that the boys loved to play together at the playground and didn´t mind the rain. But those Paris pictures are the best. Angie carrying the other infant carrier and Brad the other. Wonder who has Knox and who has Viv. The other children look adorable in their PJs and with unkempt hair. It looks like they have just woken up and are not in the most obidient mood. Shi really has grown. When she´s walking on the tarmac it´s easy to see that she´s almost as tall as Pax and Zee. She´ll be a tall and beautiful girl. Mad looks like he´s a big boy and walks behind his younger siblings. Hopefully they have nice couple of days in France before returning to their Berlin home. Hope to see photos of the arriving there in a couple of days.

I just watched this video again today and could not help laughing out loud. I saw things today that I didn’t notice yesterday. I guess all kids are the same no matter where or who they are. Madd and Pax remind me of my two granddaughters that we live with. The younger (8) is full of the devil, never stops moving or talking and the oldest (10) is kind of layed back. But as I noticed with Pax and Madd going at each other, Pax doing his karate motions and Madd at one point looking real innocent, but if you look real close you see he goes over and says something to Pax to get him going again. But when Mom and Dad turn around he looks like, hey I am not doing anything. I am sure Angie and Brad knew the cameras were going 10/4 but this gave us insight of them trying to just be a family out hanging out. I like that although we know there is security and nannies around we don’t really notice them that much.

the video and the photos are great. angie looks so happy! we can see that she is a great mom! i think i never saw her so radiant. the pic of W cover is so beautiful, angie looks so happy, so in love and so sweat! i’m really a huge fan of this person, i admire her so much. everything she does is great! love her (naturally, i know she’s not really perfect, i mean: she’s human, so she probably has defaults ;-p)

i just don´t understand why Brad and Angelina share so much with the public. but perhaps thats because i am persoally a very private person.
phoebe: yeah, i had the same question in myself: what did they make private pictures? but i think it’s only for an artistic objectif… i don’t know. some celebrities like to share their private life with the public (brad and angie don’t have problem with it; they often answer to the questions about the kids, they talk about their everyday life…) maybe it’s only because they are really happy and they want to show theur happiness?

i see what you mean. i think i have to get used to it more. i am such a private person when it comes to my family, that i always wonder about the openess of some celebs – who have only little privacy left anyway…
We all have different ideas of privacy, e.g. breastfeeding in public – when I was growing up in the Philippines, it didn’t matter where – jitney or wherever – when that baby demanded feeding, their mothers fed them. The moms would unbutton their blouse, put the baby to her nipple and then cover herself with a handkerchief or similar thing. Nobody thought anything of it, it was just part of normal everyday life. Even the priests had no objection. Most of the mothers on celebritybabyblog are thanking Angelina and W magazine for taking breastfeeding out of the closet.
I think Brad and Angelina are balancing privacy and the public’s demands. Look at us, in every thread don’t we say we want to see their photos? They’re throwing a bone to the monster with the huge maw to keep it from invading their life completely. It also may be their way of countering all the vicious rumors of breaking up, post-partum depression, forced therapy, etc. Pictures tell a different story from all the tabs’ headlines and h8ters’ comments out there. They haven’t invited us into their homes, as other celebrities have done; they’re not in a reality show. And Brad is taking the photos, not some pap.
Brad probably considers his photos his work of art – I agree with him. Many artists – photographers, painters, sculptors , writers, filmmakers – portrayed the women and children in their lives (often nude), do we consider that a betrayal of their loved ones’ privacy? So it’s a continuum from 100% privacy to none.

the problem is that pictures still can´t prove anything, so the hateful comments and the ridiculous tabloids will continue spreading lies. i have seen countless pics where Angie and Brad looked at each other and it looked as if they were hating each other. a picture sadly can´t capture the truth….they can never win.
i don´t think they should care about the tabs and the haters either…they should just live their life. there will always be something that can be critizised. i even think that with these pics, the hateful comments will get louder and louder.
its a shame really…..i think breastfeeding is a wonderful and natural thing and its a truly beautiful picture (have you noticed that she looks EXACTLY like Shilo?), but nevertheless i don´t feel very comfortable looking at such private moments…its a feeling i can´t help it…
I live in canada and i was totally amazed to see that mike holmes from “holmes on holmes” is in this video. he is also part of brad’s team renovating in the 9th ward. he is the big man in overalls and white shirt with t he bald head.

This photo is stunning, natural and loving. Would people prefer the paparazzi photos that were taken from helicopters, the crazy person dressed in fatigues trying to break in? People are going to take photos of them no matter what. This is about control and showing what is real, not what is photoshopped and over done.
The breastfeading photo is so tasteful, you had to look hard to see what was happening. A lot of breastfeeding mothers and organizations that advocate breatfeeding are happy to see this type of photo as it makes it look natural and beautiful. If famous Angelina Jolie can do it, then others can too. It is a very positive photo for many, many reasons. Brad is an artist with excellent taste.
yeah ligaya and mary, you’re right too. breastfeeding in public is not somthing that disturb me, i think it’s a natural thing. but some people (like my boyfriend) don’t like it. but you know, it’s normal that there are different opinion: every person is educate in a different way.
i think too that brad has really a great artistiq sense (cinema, music, art, architectur,…)
