I was actually supposed to pick the winner for the blu-ray copy of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on Friday but with all the post-Cannes excitement I completely forgot.

I picked the winner using Random.Org and got this comment number:

It’s a long weekend here in Canada, with Monday being Victoria Day. I thought that a great way to celebrate would be to kick it off with a giveaway for PittWatch readers!

Reader Ana is an incredibly generous soul - she accidentally ordered two copies of the Blu-Ray version of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Instead of sending one copy back to Amazon or giving it to someone she knows, she contacted me and offered it up as a giveaway prize here at PittWatch.

Is it not true that PittWatch readers are the best? Yes, yes it is true!

I will run the contest from today - May 15th - until noon Eastern time on May 22nd. After that I’ll randomly pick one winner from the comments to win the copy. According to Ana there is no regional specifications on the box, so it should theoretically work anywhere, and she is willing to ship it worldwide to whomever wins it.

To enter, simply leave me a comment. For fun, you could let me know what your favorite Brad Pitt movie is, but as long as you comment in some way and enter a valid email address, it’s fine!

I was very happy that in only four days there were 200 comments on the giveaway entry. I closed the comments and did the drawing using random.org’s Random Integer Generator. Lucky number 13 popped up and when I looked to see who matched that comment number, I discovered that the winner was Ligaya!

Since I often get emails or comments asking me about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s style - who designed what - I thought some of you might get a kick out of this contest that I found. Stylehive is running a contest where you can win a pair of cufflinks just like the ones Brad Pitt wears, particularly to events like the Oceans Thirteen premiere as seen above. They’re Tim Nouveau Rio Eve cufflinks worth $395. I know most of my readers are women but you could give them as a gift to your husband, boyfriend, father, or brother.

I particularly thought that the contest would amuse people since so many of you expressed a strong dislike for Ryan Seacrest (alas, I can not tell a lie - I love Ryan. I don’t always love everything he says or does, but I still really admire him) back when we were talking about Idol Gives Back. As I mentioned, the Jesse James contest closed on Friday night. I was busy all weekend so I knew I would only be able to make the announcement tonight as to the three winners of a Warner Bros Jesse James hat and t-shirt promo pack. A lot of you had some great ideas and I nodded along with a lot of you (by the way, my answer would never happen because it’s a movie that is currently filming, but I would have loved to have seen Brad cast as Henry in The Time Traveler’s Wife. Alas!), and some of you had ideas I never would have considered before! Nice work everyone.

However, it was a total random selection. I went to this site which randomly generates numbers. I plugged in the number of comments (a whopping 111!) and I clicked three separate times to get three different top numbers.
