On behalf of everyone here at PittWatch I would like to wish a very happy Father’s day to Brad Pitt. The man is so lucky to have six wonderful children who love him and whom he loves in return. Angelina Jolie has already given him the best Father’s Day gift by bringing such joy into his life.

Whatever they do on this day, I hope he enjoys some special time with his family.

A lot of women are keen to hear beauty tips in regards to Angelina Jolie - what clothing she wears, what lotion she uses, which makeup, the works - but here’s a beauty tip that can apply to anyone and it comes courtesy of Brad Pitt!

People.com reports that Eli Roth got a beauty/hygiene tip from Brad while they were filming Inglourious Basterds. At one point Brad remarked that Eli was starting to smell a little “ripe” after a busy day running around. When Eli pointed out that he hadn’t had time to shower, Brad gave this bit of personal grooming wisdom:

“Baby wipes, man, baby wipes. I got six kids. All you’ve got to do is just take them, a couple quick wipes under the pits. Man, I’m getting pissed on all day. I don’t have time to take a shower.”

That made me laugh to read because it’s so true. Those baby wipes are miracle workers. They also work great for makeup removal and spot cleaning around the house (or spot cleaning clothing when you’re on your way out the door and find some mysterious mark on your jeans/shirt). Still, you just never think of a celebrity using wipes to clean himself up in lieu of a shower.

As PittWatch reader Jackie said in the previous post, it’s spoken like a true parent. Thanks for the tip, Brad!

It’s a special day for Brad Pitt today - Happy Father’s Day Brad!

I think Brad probably already got the best Father’s Day gift he could have asked for - some peace and privacy for the whole Jolie-Pitt family!

Not to mention that he’s got four great presents running around right now - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh!

And of course she’s got twin Jolie-Pitt gifts on the way.

I can’t help but wonder what Maddox did for Brad for Father’s Day. We know from the EW interview that he drew a machine gun for Angelina Jolie and Brad had it made into a little necklace for her, which is so cute (even if it is a gun!). I’ll bet the kids all did something great for their dad.

Whatever he’s doing and however he’s spending his special day, I know I speak for everyone at PittWatch when I wish Brad Pitt the best Father’s Day yet.

(Apologies in advance to anyone who gets stuck in the moderation queue - we have a busy family day to make sure my husband, my dad, and my father-in-law all have a great Father’s day too so I won’t be online until late in the evening. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads reading!)

We all knew this already, but now it’s official - Brad Pitt tops the list for the “Hottest Celebrity Dad” at StyleList.com. The honor was bestowed upon him because of his combined sex appeal and hands-on approach to parenting.

I’m sure Angelina Jolie would agree with the sex appeal factor, and I’ll bet that Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh would all agree that he’s a great dad who takes time out for all of them.

Also included in the list are David Beckham, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Matt Damon, Ryan Phillipe, Ben Affleck, Joel Madden, Seal, Patrick Dempsey, Barack Obama, Tom Cruise, and Tobey Maguire.

Here’s something to put all our questions to rest - clearly Angelina Jolie has not yet given birth to the twins. Why? Because on Sunday, Brad Pitt took Maddox Jolie-Pitt to Italy for the MotoGP Italian motorcycle Grand Prix.

It’s great to see Brad sharing one of his obvious passions in life with his oldest son.

It seems like both Brad and Angelina are trying to have some special quiet time (or as quiet as it can be at the Grand Prix - they wore earplugs for protection) with the four kids before the two babies arrive.

The Jolie-Pitt family is back in New York City and Brad Pitt took Maddox to see a baseball game for some father-son time together.

Together they watched the New York Yankees play the Seattle Mariners at Yankee Stadium.

Spike Lee was there as well, and he and Brad chatted it up a bit.

Brad Pitt took Maddox to Mars 2112, a science fiction restaurant in Times Square. The restaurant boasts rocket rides and sci-fi-themed arcade games, and apparently Brad picked up some stuff from the gift shop, the Martian Retail Galaxy. Maybe he was getting a few gifts for the rest of his kids who weren’t there while Brad and Maddox enjoyed some father and son time; an early Father’s Day activity!

Also, what I loved finding out was that the pair didn’t pull any big name celebrity punches. They waited in line like everyone else to get in to the rides. It’s nice to see them acting like regular people instead of making big demands.

You know what though? I love seeing pictures like these, of Brad or Angelina out doing the Mom and Dad thing, because I’m a parent too, so I relate to it. But MAN, it must be so weird to constantly have cameras trailing you when you walk around. I don’t know how anyone ever gets used to that, although Brad looks really calm about it, and Maddox never seems very bothered either.

How about something light?

Since so many of the great readers here are curious about various accessories that Angelina Jolie wears (especially shoes and handbags), I thought maybe you’d like to know what Brad carries with him when he’s on diaper changing duty on the run.

Apparently it’s the Storksak Jamie Man Baby Bag. It’s a messenger style bag with adjustable straps and it comes decked out with everything a good dad needs to take care of diaper needs while out and about. It has a wipeable lining, insulated side pockets to keep sippy cups or bottles cold, and a changing mat.

It’s pricey at $198 but if you’re looking for something great for the new dad in your life, this could make a great Father’s Day gift and you don’t have to tell him it’s because it makes you think of Brad Pitt!

For what it’s worth, Angelina also uses Storksak’s diaper bag, hers is the Gigi Diaper Bag. It’s the same price.

Can I just say, as a mom who carries a diaper bag pretty much everywhere, I wish mine was as nice as either of these. Alas, I must deal with a plain backpack style (though I do have an insulated cup pouch, a mesh baggie, and a changing pad, so go me!)

Okay, here we go! Shiloh still exists and apparently she’s started walking a few steps. Here are some beautiful pictures of Brad Pitt with Shiloh as she plays with his sunglasses and with a cardboard box tent while enjoying some sun and fresh air.

Brad and his family must be popular in supermarket papers in the Czech Republic too!

A quick trip around the Internet will show you there’s more speculation and gossip online than any high school ever had. Everyone is chattering and creating hooplah because of the announcement that Angelina is filing adoption papers in Vietnam as a single parent instead of jointly with Brad Pitt. The common reaction is that “clearly” their relationship is about to fall apart.

Everyone eager to gossip monger could avoid giving themselves an aneurysm if they’d do their homework. According to this guide for Americans adopting in Vietnam:

Vietnam law permits adoption by married couples (one man, one woman) and single heterosexual persons.

It sounds to me like they aren’t eligible to adopt together because they’re not actually married. Once the adoption process is completed, Brad will be able to adopt the new child through the US courts because then he/she will be a US citizen, just like he did with Maddox and Zahara.

Tsk. So much drama for nothing!
