Where I live (the province of Quebec, in Canada), June 24th is a holiday. It’s a province-wide celebration where everything shuts down other than non-essential services (hospitals, electric companies, etc) and a lot of people hold various festivities. Since I will be out most of the day at a BBQ seeing friends I haven’t seen in years, I won’t be online until later this evening. To tide you over, here is a great Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Jolie-Pitt children fan video that I found.

I kind of laughed because the song (”Paper Planes” by MIA for the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack) is a bit of an odd choice for it, but the photos of Brad, Angelina, and the kids that were chosen are all fabulous so as far as I’m concerned, it’s a good video.

I thought it would fill the gap since we haven’t seen the family for quite some time!

The comment issue seems to be almost repaired, thanks to the awesome tech folks. Any comments that go into moderation will be dealt with sometime in the late evening when I get back home, and I’ll check then if there’s any major news that I’ve missed.

In semi-related news, it seems that Moneyball is in limbo. Although I haven’t yet read anything confirming that it’s been set aside, I haven’t read anything saying that it’s been picked up either so unless they get a new director, Moneyball will not be in production anytime soon. While disappointing for everyone - especially the crew members who depend on the work - at least Brad and Angelina and their children will get some downtime together all at the same time!

On behalf of everyone here at PittWatch I would like to wish a very happy Father’s day to Brad Pitt. The man is so lucky to have six wonderful children who love him and whom he loves in return. Angelina Jolie has already given him the best Father’s Day gift by bringing such joy into his life.

Whatever they do on this day, I hope he enjoys some special time with his family.

With things being all quiet on the Jolie-Pitt front lately, and considering many of you have commented that you miss seeing the whole family, I thought I would try to help you out. I can’t provide you with any new photos of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and the Jolie-Pitt kids at this time, but I can give you the next best thing. How about a couple of fan videos featuring the whole family?

This first video only includes Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh as a newborn, but even though we miss out on Pax and Vivienne and Knox, it’s fun to watch because all the photos are old - it’s nice to look back and see how much the kids have grown.

This next one involves all the Jolie-Pitt kids. It’s especially well done, with a segment dedicated to each of them.

Fans sure get excited when they see Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and the Jolie-Pitt kids, don’t they? Check out the reaction the family got as they arrived in Japan.

I don’t even know how I would react to that much screaming right after getting off a long flight. It’s crazy but I guess they must be used to it by now. I’m sure the kids aren’t used to it though.

What I do like about the video is that it shows that paparazzi were definitely using longer lenses to get the photos of the Jolie-Pitt family arriving at the airport because you can see that security was really excellent and people were kept well back, behind ropes. I like that - take the pictures, sure, but give them the physical space that any normal human being would hope for.

I can’t wait for red carpet photos of Brad and Angelina in Japan!

The Jolie-Pitt family have hit Japan! Someone was lucky enough to get photos of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and all six Jolie-Pitt children as they arrived at Narita International Airport!

Now that is one beautiful family! They’re all getting so big, but of course it’s Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt who have changed the most since they’re at that age where they grow overnight.

Awww. There is nothing that can melt you quite like a dad carrying his little baby!

Many astute readers noticed that Angelina Jolie’s arm tattoo is a bit bigger than it was the last time we saw her with bare arms. As most fans know, Angelina has the geographical co-ordinates of the location of the birth of each of her children tattooed onto her left arm - Cambodia for Maddox, Ethiopia for Zahara, Namibia for Shiloh, and Vietnam for Pax.

Now, she has added two rows with France for the birth of both Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. Here’s a better view:

I know not everyone is into tattoos, but I think it’s a really wonderful tradition that she has, and a very original way to celebrate your children.

I guess that there have been rumors that, because of the close friendship (or “bromance”!) between Brad Pitt and George Clooney, are speculating George is the godfather to Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.

Well, Brad told Extra that it’s not the case. Why not? Brad said:

“He hates children. Are you kidding? I love the twins too much to subject them to George.”

Ha! Those two never fail to crack me up, honestly. I think the sad part is that somewhere someone will believe it because they have no sense of humor, but to me it just shows one more glimpse into the joking and teasing that goes on between George Clooney and Brad Pitt, along with others like Matt Damon.

I know we’re not very surprised by this bit of news, but the issue of People featuring the world debut of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins, Knox and Vivienne was a huge sale success. The issue sold 2.6 million dollars according to Women’s Wear Daily.

The top selling issues of People in history were the 9/11 issue with 4.1 million copies, the issue regarding the death of Princess Diana with 3 million, the issue for the death of John F. Kennedy Jr. with 2.8 million, the Jolie-Pitt twins at 2.8 million, and the issue with Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s debut with 2.2 million.

That’s not bad for babies who haven’t done anything beyond being born yet!

People also set a new record by having 6 million unique visits to the site when the first image of Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt was released.

Fans waited for months, asking the question - “Is Angelina Jolie pregnant or not?” Once we finally saw the undeniable pregnant belly, another wait began as everyone wondered when her real due date was and when her little Jolie-Pitt twins would be born. The paparazzi waited for her to leave the hospital, hoping to catch even a blurry shot of Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt but were foiled when Angelina slipped out in the middle of the night, more or less undetected.
