Changeling: Official Trailer released

Hang on to your seats - the official trailer for Changeling has been released and it looks incredible. There is so much to the story and I can not wait to see it.
Please view the trailer here.
As always, Angelina Jolie appears to give a stellar performance. From the glimpse I got in this trailer, I’d say that this has “Oscars” written all over it. Just the trailer brought tears to my eyes, I can just imagine what the whole movie will be like. She is truly a gifted and talented actress.

Universal Pictures has also released several new high quality stills from Changeling. Check the rest of them out below the cut:

Universal Pictures describes the Clint Eastwood film as:
CHANGELING is a poignant, moving, and inspiring tale of a mother’s love and a woman’s courage. Based on actual events,Changeling tells the shocking tale of a mother’s quest to find her son, and those who won’t stop until they silence her…
It was 1928 in Los Angeles, CA, and the city suddenly found itself in the middle of a missing child case that would rock the state’s entire legal system forever. Christine Collins’ son, Walter, is reported missing but is then returned. The only problem is that the returned boy is not actually Walter. When Collins pushes authorities to keep looking for her son, she is slandered as delusional and unfit. She boldly faces corrupt police and a skeptical public in her quest to find the truth.

Also, keep up to date on the official Changeling website.
Is it too soon to start a countdown for the movie’s release date?

MTV: You have “The Changeling” coming out with Angelina Jolie. Was casting her your idea?
Clint Eastwood: “They would have gone with whoever I wanted. [Brian] Grazer and Ron Howard were the ones who sent it to me, and they asked who I liked. They said Angelina Jolie is someone who’s very interested in it. Her face is one that works both contemporarily and in a period. And so I said, ‘Yeah, let’s go with her.’ It was kind of a no-brainer. I’ve worked with a lot of wonderful actresses. I can’t say I’ve worked with anybody more professional.”

Goose bumps indeed!!! Stunning, as always. This is one of the words that best describe Angie’s tallent and performance as an actress. It reminds me of Gia and Girl interrupted. If she doesn’t get an Oscar for this, it will be clear for me that it is smth against her.

On another note: i saw Burn After Reading last night. The movie was funny, clever, witty, smart and very entertaining. But oh does something shocking happen about 3/4 into the movie. I don’t want to spoil it but I sure didn’t expect that to happen.

OH SHERRY! i LOVE HER ,I LOVE HER I LOVE HER. A VERY VERY TALENTED ACTRESS. GUYS JUST A WARNING, IF YOU GO TO ANY STORES AND SEE THOSE NASTY GOSSIP ABOUT OUR JOLIE-PITT FAMILY, PLEASE IGNORE. REMEMBER THOSE TABLOIDS DO THIS ALL THE TIME ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY NEVER SEEN ANGIE AROUND. BUT WE ALL KNOWS BETTER. REMEMBER WHAT ANGIE SAYS: 95% THAT BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT THEM ARE NOT TRUE. THOSE TABLOIDS ARE VERY VERY SICK MENTALLY. HAHAHA!

For some reason the trailer wasn’t working right when I went to view it. But no matter what I know this is going to be a wonderful movie. Seems a little hard to believe that when Angelina was making this movie we were trying to figure out if she was going to have a baby or not. Little did we know Knox and Viv were there. I am so glad that I have this sight to come too because the headlines on the magazines when you stand in line at the grocery store are heart breaking. I feel more and more sorry everyday for Angie. The poor thing can’t even just go to a store. I can image it is going to be real hard when they have to leave France for the RC functions.

That was amazing! I just love AJ! I cannot wait to see this movie. I will drop off my daughter at HSM3 & head in to see it by myself! :)
I love the way her voice cracks when she’s upset almost sounds so hoarse that she is forcing the words out, like she’s spent days crying and screaming–that is SO realistic for a mother to respond that way–she really dug into her heart & you can tell!

“I can’t say I’ve worked with anybody more professional.” - Well, Clint Eastwood says it all. Angie is one of the best actresses of our time. Stunning force and amazing capacity to play any kind of role: action, drama, comedy and so on.
Mary Ann, you said that “the headlines on the magazines when you stand in line at the grocery store are heart breaking.” I don’t have access to those magazines, so I’m curious what they say. What do they invent now? Thanks

I knew when I saw her in Gia that she was the best there is in hollywood, I LOVE HER, I can’t wait to see her in Changeling. This site is the best. I can’t wait to get home from work to see what is new. I am so happy I found it. I HEAR OSCAR BUZZ also that they are the most powerful Actor and Actress in Hollywood today.

Wait until the premiere and the movie open. Angie and Brad will be riding high on their career as well as personal successes. Then the tabloids will have to work overtime to find something negative to say about them. But the success of their movies will speak for the golden couple. Not to mention they just opened an AIDS clinic in Africa. Everything they touch turns to gold.
I stopped taking the tabloids seriously when they focus on sleazy rumors and not give credit (Angie and Brad’s generosity) where credit is due.
So I occasionally glance at tabloid headlines, but it’s all good laugh therapy when they say dumb negative things about our couple.
Peace and happiness to all.

Lara, I can’t give you exact quotes because I don’t buy them, so I will try to remember. Today, I saw one that said that Angie is tired of Brad never being home and she is stuck with all of the kids. Another I remember was that Jen A setup a date to meet Brad in Toronto for dinner. He chickened out and went home because Angie threw a fit. Another is Angie is very worried because she can’t lose her weight. Lara, all the usual garbage, but my point is that since I have found Pittwatch and read everyones comments I believe none of these lies. I have cancelled all the magazines I was getting now I only get People because I feel they try real hard to tell the truth.

Thanks Mary Ann. I was just curious about how far they are willing to go. They are simply ridiculous and I can only laugh about it. Indeed, pittwatch is like a breath of fresh air. It’s the place you want to be when talking about brad and angelina and simply when you just want to have a chat with some nice people:)
All the best
