Christmas With Brad and Angie

Angelina and Brad spent their Christmas Day 2006 bringing attention to the Columbian refugees in Costa Rica. Their visit spurred write-ups in magazines, like People that shared specifically what the displaced people are doing in Costa Rica:
About 11,500 refugees have come to Costa Rica, most of them from Colombia, where an armed conflict between leftist guerrillas, soldiers and paramilitary forces has forced them to flee, says the UNHCR. All told, an estimated 3 million Colombians have been forced from their homes.
“The conflict in Colombia is the greatest humanitarian tragedy in the Western Hemisphere, but it receives very little international attention,” Jolie said after her arrival in San Jose. “My Christmas message to Colombian refugees and to the millions of displaced people in Colombia is that the world has not totally forgotten them.”
As heart-warming as their visits are for the locals, truthfully, many of the villages the couple frequents don’t recognize Hollywood’s Cinderella and Prince Charming. However, the paparazzi horde who follow the couple incessantly, do capture pictures of the needy people and magazines who buy the pictures also get an earful of the story behind the shots.
While so many other celebs build their portfolio with these shots, Brad and Angie are making the world a better place, one visit at a time.

I like the fact that they are good parents to their children. Usually children learn from their parents in all aspects of life. Perhaps their children will grow up and be good citizens of the world. If anything, I hope other people recognize their good deeds and not be so judgmental of them. It’s always easier to set back and judge others’ actions but much harder live your life with the same standards you judge others.

I sincerely do admire this couple. In Hollywood, they could have all the galas and parties to attend, but instead, they chose to spend this little time with others so less fortunate than us. They are indeed an incomparable couple.
Some people who adopt children often leave their children at home, or often you see their little ones carried by nannies when they are in public. With Angelina and Brad, you always see them carrying their own children.
I wish I could do as much as this couple does, but I do admire and respect them for the beauty they give to others and I will continue to pray for them.

Oh, yes, and I hope everyone had a wonderful Happy Holidays, and will wish everyone a Happy New Year and pray that Angelina and Brad will continue to share their love.

Angelina is great. I think she looks better with more lbs also but I’m not worried about her weight yet. Pregnancy does weird things to your body so I think Angelina deserves at least a year to get her body working correctly.

You can spend time with family anytime, and those are places that the paps expect them to be. Those poor families probably have camping paps all the time. They probably choose to spend time there when paps might not expect them to…
