Ellen Joins Brad Pitt’s Team
Ellen DeGeneres has decided to step up and join forces with Brad Pitt and his tireless efforts to bring awareness, funding, and housing to New Orleans. On her show, she explained that she made a donation herself and has asked her viewers to join in by supporting Make It Right and helping to adopt part of one of the houses.
So far, Ellen’s group has managed to sponsor $169,000+ worth of donations which is the highest amount of any of the team efforts.
PittWatch readers may not have deep enough pockets to match $169 grand, but we still did a pretty good job of helping the cause, didn’t we? (That has a nice ring to it though, Team PittWatch. Go team!) And of course, they still need contributions, so if you weren’t sure whether you could donate or not, there’s still plenty of time, and even five bucks makes a difference.

That’s nice of her to team up with Brad, I know she is from New Orleans, I just wish more people will follow their leads. They need more help.
God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

Another rumor that i read was that BP and AJ live in separate houses and spent only weekends together? Any thoughts on that?

Sherry, I don’t know how true this one is, some fans are saying that Ange might be in Europe, if she is since no sightings of the family since Saturday it could be true & Brad might be with her too.
God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

I read this earlier too. Too bad I can’t watch Ellen because she is on at 4 pm in California. She is a very funny lady. She had Angie twice on her show. One time she gave Angie a pair of matching aviator jackets. One for Angie and one for Maddox.

It’s very nice to see that donations are still pouring in. Way to go Ellen and team, but no matter if the amount isn’t as big, Team PittWatch deserves commendation too. :)

Heh, yeah, aijj, just another tab lie. If they ever name an actual source, then, there might be something to consider in their “story.” Otherwise, just run it through the shredder :)

Brad’s project is one that makes me extremely proud of his and Angelina’s charity work. I really got sick of hearing people claim that Brad and Angelina always ignored their own country’s causes for foreign affairs (which is just ridiculous to me since I believe we all need to help each other out). This project with NO proves that they do indeed care about people here in America. Too many people have forgotten about NO and its people. Such a beautiful city that needs to be rebuilt and the people supported to allow the city to regain its wonderful culture!!

Other stars as Ellen donation must consider helping Brad.

That’s true, Susan! There are people who complain that Brad and Angie aren’t patriotic enough, that they don’t help out their own country. I’m glad this project refutes that kind of cynicism against the JP’s. What’s wonderful is that they’ve encouraged others to take action as well :)

Be careful about ordering product off of makeitrightnola, I ordered something and was charged and never received it. No one person responded to my multiple emails or my phone calls. Interesting!!

M….I ordered a t-shirt and a baseball cap from the makeitrightnola.org website and havent yet received it either, but…GIVE THEM A BREAK!…I am confident that I will receive it eventually, and YOU should have a little more patience considering that others DIED and were displaced during the Katrina hurrican. It isn’t like you are waiting on a KIDNEY or something!…and they’re kind a busy!…
…Plus, Brad just started the contribution drive about 4-6 weeks ago….and it takes about 4-6 weeks for something to be delivered anyway, so don’t be so quick to spread such negative info about a WORTHY cause!…dumbass.

Queenbee,
Sounds like you’re not fully informed. Thanks for the feedback. Nice language!!

M,
I haven’t ordered anything off the site, but I know a lot of the time that it can take 4-6 weeks to receive an item from an online order. Sorry you haven’t received any response though to your questions. Maybe it’s just a glitch in the early stages of getting everything up and running for the project. Hope you receive your item though and thanks for the fair warning of delay.
And lastly, queenbee’s post does not deserve a response- if you cannot express your opinion without the need for crude language and rude comments, then why post at all?

M,
Neither do you! I think that’s QB’s point.
YET it did not stop YOU campaigning for people to boycott purchasing from there.
