Even Sesame Street’s Elmo loves Brad Pitt

This morning I found a very cute clip from Sesame Street with a reference to Brad Pitt and it made me giggle so I had to share it with you. In this episode of Sesame Street we discover that not even Elmo is immune to Brad’s popularity.
In the clip, actor and comedian Ricky Gervais from The Office comes to visit Elmo on Sesame Street. Elmo’s having trouble falling asleep so Ricky tells him that maybe he needs a celebrity lullaby to help him drift off. Elmo asks what a celebrity lullaby is and Ricky explains that it’s when an “unbelievably famous person comes over and sings to you.”
Elmo then asks, “What famous person is going to sing to Elmo?” Ricky, holding a guitar, is confused and says, “What do you mean what famous person is going to sing to you?!”
Then Elmo gets very excited and asks, “Well is it Brad Pitt? Elmo loves Brad Pitt!”
Ricky is very discouraged when he tells him that he, Ricky Gervais, is going to sing, and Elmo asks, “Is Ricky Gervais a celebrity?”
It’s very cute! Then again, I can’t blame Elmo. As much as I love Ricky Gervais, I think a lot of people would be very happy to have Brad Pitt sing them a lullaby in bed. Who’s first?

Me first. Especially if he sings it in that voice from Good Morning America. No more monkeys jumping in the bed. He can sing to me any time. Now i have to go find that clip on you tube. I will link it here once i find it.

On a sidenote, I’ve always loved Elmo, ever since I was a little kid! 
oh my.. I Love Elmo! haha, i’m not shy enough to say that I still sing the Sesame Street song even though I’m old now, well age doesn’t matter when your happy with what your doing..
and don’t worry Elmo.. I too wanted Brad to sing me a lullaby when I can’t sleep.. haha!

Most magazine i see today is talking negative things about angie and brad.So irritating…they really write bad story just to make money,it’s pathetic!!!!
aside from that poster, my friend in Facebook has two other posters on SALT too! one with Angie’s eyes open (just the same with the one in Huffington, but the title is below Angie’s face) and one with Angie’s eyes closed which is a good poster too! makes me think why did she open her eyes in one poster and closed her eyes in the other poster?? maybe it’s related to the question: Who is SALT?

Thanks for this absolutely wonderful Sesame Street video, Sherry! It made me laugh. As much as I like Ricky Gervais I really would have loved to see Brad singing lullaby to Elmo. I really loved that video in which he sang No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. He must be a really funny dad. He sure sings to his own kids when they go to bed. It seems that music plays a big part in this family. Maybe the kids won´t go to bed unless mummy or daddy reads or sings to them. Those six are soooo lucky to have such loving parents. And Brad and Angie are really lucky to have six healthy, adorable children. God bless them all 4ever!

Kimmy, there is an interactive poster from the official website, whoissalt.com in that poster, her eyes were closed and she opened it. my guess is that they just made screencaps of her so there is 2 non interactive posters.

Kati- Your post reminded me how, in an interview about two years ago (just months after they adopted Pax), Angie said that she sang “Little Bunny Foo Foo” to Zahara before bed at night. I wonder if she still does?
joliepittfanatic – I remember that interview. It was in Marie Claire shortly after they had adopted Pax. I really wish that Angie still sings that song (“Little Bunny Foo Foo”) to Zahara. Maybe it´s Princess Zee´s favorite song. Or maybe Angie now sings it to Knox and Viv. Who knows?

….While DAVID MEISTER (Fashion designer) says it would be a dream to dress Angelina Jolie (“She’s stunning”), he’s all about creating clothes that can be worn by more than one kind of woman. “None of us would make a living if we were only dressing models,” said David. “It would be beautiful, but we wouldn’t make any money.”
I have had this thought for a long time and this might be a good thread to mention it on. When your Dad and Mom are actors I guess that there would be alot of play acting in this home. Reading a story book, singing songs I can picture the Jolie-Pitts all dressing up and playing out the parts. This is where I think Shiloh probably loves it so much she brings it into her everyday life. I can see Zee playing the princess or the dressed up pretty girl. If Brad is running around singing Monkeys on the Bed and Angie the PooPoo song, I just can image the fun they must all have. From where I am sitting these are six children that are well adjusted and happy. Moving around place to place is normal for them. My hat off to these two wonderful parents.
