Exclusive pictures of Brad and Angelina in Namibia
Well, I was hoping to top off all of todays news with some pictures from the photo shoot in Namibia that came out in Hello Magazine, but unfortunately, the publishers aren’t so thrilled about us showing them, so I will not be able to post them just yet. Maybe after a bit when the magazine isn’t so new. So do go buy it and check them out - if you missed them online earlier today, they are shots of Brad, Angelina, Zahara and Zahara’s nanny (beautiful woman, by the way). Anyone know where Maddox might be? I didn’t see him in any of the shots…

what??????????? Get out of here !! hahaha Man she has a while to go yet and will be quite huge …not unless they are just wanting people to think hey I gave birth early so it looks like she did not get pregnant till after the divorce… geezeeeeee how long do we have to wait then and why coudnt she just have given the due date…so secretive she is and that worries me about her ….
I saw the interview online she did last june…. I liked the interview but Angelina didnot do anything to back her self up when asked about her and Brad…
I have a theory with women …… if another women comes at you and says hey you…… are you cheating with my man…if that women does not make it so she is absoulty saying NO WAY ..I DONT WANT YOUR MAN …and making a point to say hoenstly I am not cheating with your husband ..etc then I think they are seriously guilty… just my opinion …but just talking thru life experience….

p.s I saw all those pics online last night…and this must be the only hello mag they didnot have at the hair salon yesterday while I was waiting for my daughter to finish up her facial..I read up till april 18 I think….. ha ha ha ha I think the girls at the shop had this mag in the back room not wanting to share it just yet! ha ha

p.s.s.do you think they did this photo shoot just for the fans…and to get the paps to back off.. which is what I thought all along… I did wonder why is angelina all dressed up in black on te beach………. growing up at the beach my self I cant say I get dressed up to build sand castles…… ha ha anywho I guess it make sense if it was a photo shoot…notice Brad and angie dont get close everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr………I am just thinking its weird… why do Brad and angie keep so far apart….whats up with that …these are just questions I have in my head …anyone like to answer then be my guess…

You’re not, Laura - the black outfit didn’t bother me so much but I was really hoping to see a close family picture, but there wasn’t one there that fit the bill. I don’t know if they are making an attempt to not be photographed all “cozied up” for the sake of some fans that still aren’t thrilled about the way things have gone, but they both, to me, seem like touchy feeley people, and they just don’t show that side of them to us these days. Odd. :(

Christina, I really believe this was about showing them the family unit and wanting to place emphasis on that instead of them as a couple sans kids. I don’t think we can expect to ever see many if any pic’s expressing PDA between the two because IMO, they learned from the past and aren’t interested in repeating it, and I for one say bravo to them. Even generally candid AJ seems to now get it (I sent you the link to the trans) since she states in the new interview that she does not talk about their relationship in public, and just last week when BP was asked if he would talk about it and he said “absolutely not”. For me it really further solidifies that they are committed to what they’ve found together, and it’s between them, and not them and us like Brad & Jen (really all his relationships) were, or Angie & Billy Bob. Christina I also know them to be very affectionate people, and I bet they continue to be so, but it’s just not for public consumption anymore and I’m personally very cool with that.

GOOD MORNING GIRLS!…Christina…:) .Of course it doesn’t make you bad. It’s such a catch 22, isn’t it? Fans are by deffinition, people who are enthusiastically interested in (if not obsessed with) finding out about someone. But, a famous person wouldn’t be famous without fans.
Strange paradox. No wonder they demand so much money…most of them have probably spent thousands just on therapies of one sort or another. (BGPNDF)

I saw all the pics yesterday on just jared…. and as far as not wanting to share there touchy feely side to the public…… I am not saying get down and shag…. I am just saying sit side by said ..wrap a arm around the back …just something that says you are even a couple… I think they are both touchy feely people really..but I am just curious as why they are sooooooo secretive…. could be a number of reasons… maybe for Jennifers sake,,,but somehow I dont think soo! ha ha
I just find them a hard couple to work out …… I think angelina once said in a interview she is weird in love and I think she said something to the affect that she had to show love…. I dont know… seems to me she has shown her brother more affection in public then Brad….its been this way ever since they first started the Mr and Mrs smith interviews…standing soooooooo far apart which to me looked stupid at the time and still does…I mean I have male friends I hug….I just find it alllllll so confusing … and I think I will need thearpy if I keep watching this couple… ha ha ha

Finally breaking her silence about her relationship with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie says the public’s interest in the two of them causes her to “giggle.”
Describing the curiosity of others as “just kind of funny,” Jolie, speaking to NBC’s Ann Curry for segments due to air on Thursday’s Today show and Sunday’s Dateline, says, “If (Brad) saw this, he would probably understand why I was laughing. Because I just don’t know how to address that kind of thing.”
On Wednesday’s Today, Curry described her trip to Namibia, where she interviewed Jolie, as “wonderful.”
The actress, along with Pitt and their two children – Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1 – are in the African nation to await the birth of their new family member while residing at a luxury resort.

As Jolie tells Curry, according to excerpts from the interview released to USA Today: “I don’t talk about our – my relationship in public. But we also don’t talk about it at home. … It’s one of those funny things that just happens, and you live your life, and you’re a family. But you never actually discuss (it).”
Correcting some reports that her baby is due as early as next week, Jolie, 30, also reportedly announces that she is not quite eight months pregnant. Jolie also says she knows the sex of the impending arrival, but won’t divulge it.
Jolie does tell Curry that she consented to the interview to bring awareness to the cause she promotes: educational opportunities for children worldwide. “I just think, especially my daughter, there’s no possible way she would have gone to school. She is so smart and so strong. And her potential as a woman one day is great,” she says.
“Hopefully, she will be active in her country and in her continent when she’s older. And because she’ll have a good education, she’ll be able to do that much more.”
She goes on to say: “My life is very full. I’m very proud when I see my children – already Mad, just how he adjusts to different places in the world and different people and his views and the kind of man he’s going to be. I’m very lucky.”
In further Jolie news, the actress spoke out in a teleconference from Namibia Wednesday morning, calling for the U.S. and other nations to fund education for children around the world who are denied schooling.
“In a rare occasion, I’m thanking the press because it’s so important,” joked Jolie, who was promoting the Global Campaign for Education’s “Send My Friend to School Week” (April 24-30) urging American kids to get active on behalf of global education. Jolie is honorary chair of the effort.
“To see children in countries just sitting idle with nothing to do is one of the saddest things to see in life,” she said. “Those little lives that in many ways go to waste because we haven’t been able to get together and solve the problem and get everyone in school.”
Jolie added that she plans to continue to lobby for the cause when she returns to the U.S. “I will follow through with people working on this, like Sen. Clinton. This is a global effort. I will push that in Washington.”

I think the reason Brad and Angelina aren’t all touchy and feely with one another is because they have strangers with cameras staring at them! You can tell that when the cameras are on them the black clothes and shades and expressionless faces come on. It must be hard to be spontaneous at a photoshoot.
Laura, I also got a strange feeling from what I read of the excerpts from Angelina’s interview with Ann Curry…how she just kind of laughs at us? I wonder if the comments were taken out of context…I guess we’ll find out when we watch the whole interview.

Well, now put yourselves in her shoes. What is she supposed to feel? Or say? If she ignores us completely, we call foul. If she were “out there” with her affections for Brad, the press would eat it up and claim she used sex to get Brad…so the low key stuff may very well just be for the good off ALL…and I mean ALL.
And, I can’t help but wonder if Angie is laughing at the Paparazzi rather than the fans. I can’t imagine her laughing AT her FANS. It’s because of them that she is able to command the wages she earns. I’m sure she knows that…since she uses those wages to promote her causes. We back her financially acctually if ya want to look at it that way.

SO…she really played it down… she just said “it’s kind of silly” and it makes her “giggle”.
She didn’t make a real big deal of it…so why should anybody else? i’d be willing to bet thats her attitude about all this attention….it’s like, “come on guys, Im just an actress who happens to be having a baby…whats the big deal? (*giggle*)”

Hello again from Walvis Bay… Well today was a hot day commonly referred to as “East Weather”, that is when the wind blows in from the east, over the Desert bringing with it excessive temperature and sand, so it is basically a sand storm, but today there was only a slight breeze and no sand. We will see what tomorrow brings, as there are reports that the temperature will go above 40°C. I pity the paparazzi hiding in the desert sands tomorrow. The evenings after an east weather day are the best.
A good story appeared in the local Afrikaans daily newspaper. Translated it goes about Maddox newfound friends. They have been playing for three days on end trying to fish in the pools close to the their hotel. It seems that have become serious adventures and are trying everyday to catch fish with their fishing rods.
I confirmed that is in currently no enforced “no fly zone” over the hotel. Only the standing rule applies, which means all aircraft may only fly over the resort at a flight level of 1500ft. Aircraft may fly over the sea, close to the hotel, as low as they wish.
I bit about the resort area of Longbeach where they are currently staying. There are basically only holiday homes there and are all in the price range of U$500k to 1 million each. At any given time there are at least 20 homes been built, so the resort is expanding at a rapid rate. It is very similar to Malibu except you lie between the desert sands and the Atlantic sea. I will soon post some pictures of the houses in and surrounding the resort.
A concern is however their bodyguards as more and more reports are coming in that they are harassing the public in public areas. Now Namibians generally will not interfere with visitors and their movements, but when they are unjustly hindered in their freedom of movement, they become very agitated. So I don’t think it will be to long before the public gets totally fed up with their bodyguards. The stories I have heard from various friends are shocking to say the least. The Police have also warned the Jolie-Pitts security not to take the law into their own hands. We will see what prevails with this situation. It also seems that ordinary foreign visitors are coming under the wrath of the bodyguards. This is not good for the image of Namibia and Namibia needs the tourism. More news to follow soon. When she said that she just giggles because of all the attention which Brad and Angelina gets, she made me think that what they have is soooo normal for two persons love each other and their own kids. They are just family and living their life, why is this attention?
Angelina always says that she does what she loves to do which is acting, but the “fame” part is also not interesting for her. And she is a daughter of a famous actor, she was born in this. She is just trying to minimize the effect of fame towards her relationship and family, simply.

Thank you Mike! I love to hear that Maddox is having fun which I have never doubted. He’s never without a smile on his face, and if that isn’t a sure sign of his happiness than nothing is. I read that Jolie-Pitts security had gotten over zealous more than once, and although your authorities are committed to assisting Jolie-Pitt with maintaining their privacy & security, they also informed (rightfully so) the Jolie-Pitt security team that they cannot take the law into their own hands.

No confirmation on the wedding yet only that more and more people are arriving. George and Brad’s family are still here as no word yet in the local media that they have left yet. Security is now tighter than ever. I doubt it that they will stay longer than the end of this week. I think George is diffinatly not here for a holiday but as best man! Walvis Bay is too small to let such information go buy without people talking. I will dig deeper tomorrow as I recognise some friends from the photo’s published in certain magazines.

yeah I see what you say about her giggling …as she has no idea why we are even interested in her and Brad in the first place as she sees herself as just another regular gal and they are just going on with there lifes and have not given a thought to what or who is going on around them… but on the other hand how can she not know what is going on … when it was all a scandal last year …… and as far as Jen and her saying people back off ..not back off her as a actress but as her and a Brad thing …they are OVER …

She is just trying to minimize the effect of fame towards her relationship and family, simply………… and do u think she is doing that with all the moving around and staying in 5 star resorts and hotels wirth over $$ 7000 US a night ( some of them) ? I am curious…
and I have moved around alot..but wouldnt a normal life be staying in a house…taking the kids to regular school…play dates and birthday parties??
Does anyone in here think that Brad and angelina will have that kind of life? alot of hollywood famlies do live that kind of life……..I think Brad would be that family man…..
I gathered from what I read Angelinas life was pretty much like that …she did not get everything she wanted……

Clooney, Dad Document Darfur Tragedy

On Monday, George Clooney and his father, Nick, returned from a weeklong trip to Darfur, a war-torn area of Sudan. Their mission: to bring attention to the tragedy occurring there.
The idea started with a conversation, PEOPLE reports in its new issue. “We can make it a higher-profile story,” Clooney told his father. “Why don’t we just go over there and find out what’s happening?”
With that, father and son, plus a cameraman and a Darfur expert, traveled to the African nation, where an estimated 180,000 people have been killed and 2 million displaced in three years of political unrest.
“We were freelance,” says the elder Clooney, 72, of the journey, which the group documented on film.
Clooney Sr., a columnist for a Cincinnati newspaper, also plans to write about the trip. “It was difficult,” he says. “It’s been a long time since I’ve slept in a mud hut and had a tarantula over my head.”
Father and son split expenses: “George paid for the transport and lodging. I paid for the cigarettes and coffee.”
The actor, 44, plans to detail the trip at an April 27 press conference with Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.), who support aiding humanitarian missions, and attend a Darfur rally in D.C. on April 30.
As for the trip, Obama appreciated the Clooneys’ efforts. “George combines celebrity with real knowledge and commitment,” he tells PEOPLE. “He does his homework and he takes this stuff seriously.”

The pictures on people.com are gorgeous I saw some pictures that I haven’t seen before. I’m definelty looking forward to her interview. I was suprised to her that she’s just only getting into her 8th month, I guess we’ll got a bit carried away with that. So does that mean that she’s due in June? Now, think about this. You know, most of the rumors since they were spied holding hands on the set of Mr&Mrs Smith have all turned out to be true, except the Lake Como wedding rumor, and whatever people are saying she has said about JA.
Thats why I think this particular wedding rumor that is circulating right now, there in Namibia, is probably true. I think that because it’s not a hog wild bring in all the big guns kind of parade like Lake Como was. It’s more like, this rumor was started by a tiny little leak…or by Brad being seen in a local jewelry store buying gifts meant for a bride….rather than someone outright saying to the newspapers, “Oh we got a call to stand by for a wedding”.
If those two are gunna tie the knot…what better way to get all this over the top interest in them over with as to do it all in one place? Avoid it happening all over again when they get back to the states or Europe or wherever? and then have the baby, and then settle back at home as quietly as possible? They have turned this into a complete family affair. They have hired thugs, rented out an entire resort for 3 months in a not so easily accessable or well known area, that can easily accomodate both thier families for an extended stay while they get married, do a uniting of the families, and have a baby.
It just all seems like something they would do, doesn’t it?
I’m waiting cautiously but excited…for the next post from Mike in Namibia.

Did anybody watch Access Hollywood tonight? They showed a clip of angie’s interview, she looked grogeous, with no makeup just walking through the African Desert. What amazes me about her beauty is that it’s effortless, she doesn’t even try.

Oh, and one more thing, I noticed alot of folks think it’s odd that the day before they announced their seperation, that there was a photo taken of Brad and Jen hanging on each other.
Thats not so strange. I once made love with a boyfriend as we were parting ways, and from what I understand thats not uncommon…I think they call it “break-up sex”. I think at first they tried to do it amicably, and it was joint decision. Try to imagine them for a monet, just at the point where all the talking was done, and the decision had been made, yep, we’re callin it quits, and we are both okay with that, and Jen will file the papers so Brad doesn’t look like he dumped her too flat.
What a relief it must’ve been. They probably went off on that holiday with Courtney and David, knowing exactly what they were going to do the day they got back.
It wasn’t fake, and there really wasn’t anything strange about it. They were in the breakup sex mode and knew it, just nobody else did…..yet.
Now, I for one am done with mentioning Jen (I hope)… I just had to get that out.

I always assumed she was due in June since she said early summer. People really should listen to what she says and NOT what the paps report just to sell papers.

So right on Iron Velvet I always knew she was due in June not May 2.But alot of people beleive Usweekly is the bible of celebritydom so when that ragmag speaks it must be true.I guess that source that overheard Brad saying the baby is due May2 is not a good source after all.

I read that Hello paid 750k for the pictures. . .did anyone else see that anywhere? Also that People has purchased the first baby pics for $3.5M—-to go to Unicef. I’m so proud of them, once again for what they exemplify. The picture of Angie on the front cover of People is simply gorgeous. As for the lack of PDA, I agree with the idea that they hate being so closely scrutinized. I don’t blame them a bit. It’s obvious that they are a happy family.
Aren’t we lucky to have Mike? Thanks for all the info! I guess we are all just going have to be conflicted over wanting them to have their privacy and yet still wanting to see their pictures and know what’s going on. I once read a quote by someone who was reviewing the Kitty Kelly book about Liz Taylor: “Reading the book is like being on a diet and eating a hot fudge sundae! You know it’s a sin but you just can’t help yourself. :) For whatever reason, I just can’t help but check in with Pittwatch several times a day!

I came back to see my post got deleted…I take it ..it was too controversal or a tricky question …….. well that pretty much answered that part of my litle blurb………
my other part was about her carrying high or low…and the whole if she will have a boy or girl??
I was just looking at her pics again from a few days ago and I was thinking I was wrong…..she is not carring low and yet a bit high..
What do you think guys? A boy or a girl?

(Christine, you may choose to delete this..thats ok) just in Christine’s best interests, and so the blog doesn’t get shut down, it might be wisest to send a URL-LINK to the articles some of you are posting here to Christina (see “Got a Tip?- eMail us!” on the top of the right side menu on each page here) and give her the chance to get permission to print them. It is copyright infringment and you really need to be careful about that stuff. People get sued over it. I would not want to see this blog closed down just before Angie’s baby comes….how awful!! and I’d miss all of you!! Please help protect this forum and Christina.
Posting just URL’s and the topic, or a small clip seems to be ok, but complete articles are really a no-no…I’ve never seen Christina do it…she always provides a clip of the article and a link. Lets follow her lead shall we and let this be her Blog first and most? we are, after all, her guests and this blog is something she has to police regularly, and it’s time out of her day. She has a job and kids, and this is time consuming as much as she loves it.
Please don’t be upset by my comments. I am a peacemaker at heart. I do not wish to fight. Only to stand up for what I believe is right, true and good, and I think sometimes some of us just kind of “forget” Christina is the skill behind this place. It’s like we are in her living room. ASK before ya go taking over the place.

Greetings from Walvis Bay, Namibia…well I have ask all the who’s who of Walvis Bay and no one can confirm that George Clooney was in Namibia. If he had entered the country he did it under the radar. Brad and Angelina with family have left their hotel for a trip to a resort along the Skeleton Coast. The only place I can think of that they went to is Cape Cross. We have a long weekend coming up so I assumed they decided to escape the influx of people to the coast from our capital.
I have sent Christina photo’s (which I took) of Walvis Bay today together with a photo of the hospital Angelina is reported to be having her water birth. Facilities at this hospital are very good, from a hypobaric unit to 3D ultra-sonic scans. Security is also very good, all remote glass doors, 3 in total before you get to the maternity ward. More photos will follow…if there are any questions I will try to answer them.

It’s good to “read” (in place of see) you again, JLS. It’s been so hectic, and now I am just getting some rest and catching up on Brad and Angelina.
I believe that Angelina does not think of herself as this “big, famous, movie star.” Her life has had a lot of heartache, mistakes, fame, and now, perhaps at long last, the happiness that she deserves. In her opinion, she looks at her love for Brad and his for her as a very special gift that has been given to her. Add Maddox and Zahara and now, their new baby, and to her, it is just a wonderful thing that has happened in her life. In no way do I think that she does not appreciate our loyalty.
Or maybe it’s just that I am still in a romantic glow after watching my daughter get married. No, it isn’t that. Brad and Angelina may make mistakes, don’t we all, but their love for their children and for one another, hopefully, will keep them together for a very long time. And, yes, every weekend I check on here right away to see if there is any news of a Jolie-Pitt wedding. Sigh, no such luck yet.
