  Namibian authorities are clamping down on journalists trying to follow Brad Pitt, pregnant Angelina Jolie and her two adopted children after the couple asked for some privacy, according to a newspaper report Sunday.

  South Africa’s Sunday Times said the couple’s security chief gave a local journalist a statement asking that they be left alone.

  “We love Africa and to be here in Namibia with our family is very special for us,” the statement said. “To the local people who have been so kind and gracious, thank you for making us feel at home.

  “As for the press, we kindly ask for privacy so that we can enjoy this beautiful country with our children.”

  The statement was signed by both Jolie and Pitt.

  Well, lets see…. This deffinetly blows off all the rumors of bad blood between Clooney and the Pitt “camp”. These guys are pals obviously. I just love George Clooney. So mischivious. And cute to boot. :D

  Hmmm. So what’s he doin there? She’s pretty big, and getting real close to her due date. I’d say she’ll give birth between the 15th-25th of May.

  He may be there for a wedding indeed. We’ll just have to see. (But I still think they had *some kind* of ceremony already.)

  I read on another board that on tv tonight Brad brought a necklace & ring that a groom to be generally gives his bride to be to show his fidelity. Now take it with a grain of salt because even the tv tabs “are still tabs” and no one has confirmed this was the absolute truth.

  ah, how sweet is that? I hope it’s true. It kinda goes along with the whole “Maddox wants an African Bother or sister” setup. Looks to me like Brad is completely smitten with his new family, from this to the matching hair-cut with Madd….to hanging out in Africa where his missus has chosen to nest. It’s nice.

  I just had a light bulb moment.

  If every last one of the paps and media were to leave Namibia all at once and leave them alone until they released a statement and thier own photos about the birth of the baby (which will still sell magazines. but no one would be “first”), then wouldn’t just the press backing out of thier own accord be newsworthy enough?

  I think THAT would be quite a story:
  “Just weeks before Brangelina Baby’s schedueled arrival, Media does a TOTAL about face!”
  I bet if the media would show that kind of respect, just this once…it’d be a story that beat out any other story for a long time to come.

  Effectively, they’d get a great story, without harassing anybody! (but, it could only be pulled off once, and only if they did it at an opportune moment, like now, just weeks before the most anticipated child in the world is due….)

  I know, it’s a complete pipe dream… but, hey, I think it’s a pretty good one.

  I have actually wanted to post on here on several occasions, but where my name appeared on “Leave a Reply” already, I was “erased”. Do you all know how I feel about being “erased?” Do you know what “The Company”, or the CIA does when they “erase” someone? John and Jane Smith do, that’s for sure. So I am signing my name in again and hope they won’t “erase” me again.

  As for my post, I must admit that I have been way too busy of late with a wedding creeping up on us very quickly, however, it does not stop me from checking into this site at least once a day, sometimes more often.

  Angelina looked so peaceful and happy on both reports from E.T. and The Insider (TV). Brad seems to have a crew cut now, and Angelina was glowing. It’s sad that they have to be so far away from the people they love because of the media, however I imagine they are both very happy there from what they have said.

  Now if only Brad and Angelina would get married on April 29th, I would never forget their anniversary. Michelle, my daughter, and HER own Brad, are getting married this Saturday, the 29th. I think I’ll keep hoping, especially since it was reported that they both went to a jewelry store. This may be old news on this site, but I saw it tonight on E.T. and The Insider.

  They are just such an inspiring couple, and even if they do argue (which we all do), their “making up” must be very special, and gentle right now that she is in her last few days. Their baby will bring them all even closer than they already are.

  Hmmmmmmmm I think that george Clooney maybe wanted to go to africa and see it first hand ..as he is involve din Brads causes and Two perhaps wedding bells.since Brad doe sor doesnt have any family there…rumor was hsi brother was there …I mean come on …….. they go from having noone to shipping in everyone to africa…and hey its not like they dont have any rooms for there friends to sleep they booked the whole hotel…….. hahaha I am still upset I cant get to see this news story angelina is doing about the children etc…and I wanted to see a interview…I sometimes hate being in Scotland…. we CSI MIAMI…and bones and cold case etc but noooooooooooo news shows!!!

  Mike from Walvis Bay…It seems the upcoming Wedding is going to happen. Rumours here in Walvis Bay all indicate to a Wedding that may have taken place yesterday. I will try to get more info for you as I have the right contacts here in Walvis Bay…watch this space tomorrow!!

  well, Brad’s brother is supposedly there too. And I finally decifered that there were 5 EXTRA people besides Angie, Brad, Madd and Z who got off the plane with them when they first arrived.
  The Bro came later, so did George.

  I can’t help but wonder about it.
