Girls’ day out
Don’t feel bad for the girls of the Jolie-Pitt family - while the boys were off playing in helicopters, Angelina Jolie took Zahara and Shiloh shopping in Monaco. I love the little dresses that the little ones are wearing. The three of them are beautiful in black dresses.
Check out the beautiful pictures over yonder! In a couple you see Angie smiling at a store employee while holding two little stuffed toys - I guess the girls got some little gifts!

i think shiloh is really a little brad!!! she is the cutest baby girl i’ve ever seen (with z of course). poor Z, her hair looks like a lion’s mane (too cute, but she must suffer to brush them… aie!).
the trio is just beautiful! the girls have angie’s elegance.

in one of the pic, shiloh seems to show something to angie and next, it seems that angie takes it: it was little pink sneakers… it’s great that angie let the girls choose what they want to wear (naturally i suppose that she doesn”t let them take things that aren’t really beautiful!). brad and angie look like really open-minded parents, funny and cool, but too strict about the politeness (great parents!).
shiloh doesn’t look anymore like a baby, she is now a little girl. i’m sure she and princess Z are friends: now they can play with barbies or dolls togheter: it’s fun.
i’m sure too that there are some “fights” girls vs. boys in the house: so nice!
love them so much, i can’t stop imagine how beautiful their everyday life is.

Loved the new pics the girls are adorable as always, and AJ looked great as well. No surprise to anyone, but glad to see her legs again. Just for the fun of it I went back and looked at some pics of AJ when she was pregnant with Shiloh, and she seems to be carrying this baby lower, so I am thinking boy. She looks as if she might be about 7 months, and I don’t think she is carrying twins, but I never carried twins, so am no expert.

pittwatchers: i need your help. i want to look at an interview of angelina that she made a few days after shiloh’s birth with anderson cooper but unfortunately, i don’t understand everything (because of my not really good english…) so i want to know if someonz here can give me a link to a transcription of this interview????? thanks!
i think it was the time in her life where angie was the most beautiful: just after shiloh’s birth she was so radiant, she looked so healthy, so happy!!!!! (even if i always find her beautiful…)

I believe that these pictures of Angie and her daughters are beautiful. Each one was better than the next. Zee and her little pink dress shoes and then her dance shoes is to much. Shiloh is a beauty. I have a feeling that Zee might be like my granddaughter Skye who just hates to have her hair fussed with. It is a major production to get her to sit still. When Brad and Angie went overseas I thought that we would not be seeing to much of them except on the red carpet, but we are seeing some wonderful pictures. I like these because they are out on the street and they know pictures will be taken of them. I feel real uncomfortable with the pictures of them at the house. I also think that the other people on the streets or at the beach are great at respecting their privacy. They must feel very happy there.

Well, if the boys are going to have a day out, then these three lovely girls should too. These are such cute pictures. The kids are just growing up, it seems, real fast. Zee’s hair is really wild, and I know some complain that Angie leaves it like that, but maybe that’s the way she likes it. Besides, there have been pictures where her hair is nicely done. And Shiloh looks like a tall little girl. From the pictures, it seems she’s almost half as tall as Angie and she’s not even two yet.
Melodie, I think when that interview ran, I also copied the transcription from the cnn website. I’ll try to find it and let you know if I do.

Hi Melodie, been trying to put up the link to the transcript that you wanted but it just won’t post, have done it several times already. Alternatively, you could go to the cnn.com website and search for “Anderson Cooper interview with Angelina Jolie” and the link will show up (transcript of Angelina Jolie: Her Mission and Motherhood interview). I hope it helps. If it doesn’t, let me know because I’ve copied it again and I can email it to you if you want.

Thanks for the link, Sherry. I love these pics of mommy & daughters in matching black. Love how Angie & Brad mix it up so that the whole family has time together, and each child has special alone time with each & both parents, and special boys time & girls time.
Angie has said how Z takes her hair out of braids as soon as her hair is done. I think if Z could stand one of those wide cloth headbands, her hair could be loose & wild and would look really good & stylish too.
Z’s hair & Angie’s ability to be a good mother to a black child has been debated in other blogs, with black women taking both pro/con sides. Some say it’s deliberately racist, others that Angie just doesn’t know any better, others suggesting Angie take Z to a black salon regularly or hire a black stylist since Brad/Angie must hire stylists for themselves. One even suggested they hire a black nanny since Angelina & Brad don’t have anyone black on their staff. I don’t know if that’s true, and I’m sure they hire staff who are the best. I think it’s worth a thought, though.

Great pictures!!!!
Shiloh’s a little chub chub, cute!
What I like about Shiloh and the other Jolie-Pitt kids is that they do not have the spoiled look that some celebrity children have.

OMG, too adorable for words! They are growing so fast and so elegant in black. Shiloh is just exactly the blend of Brad and Angie, a mini Brangelina. So cute. I hope she is not too heavy for Angie to carry though.

in addition to your syrupy, fawning, naive commentary about Angelina Jolie’s pathological need to drag her kids out for daily photo ops - do you also write the eerily similar, saccharine “posts” on your site?

How about allowing Zee’s/Z’s hair be HER hair and remain in it’s natural state? I’m getting seriously pissed with the neverending suggesting that something must be done to the childs crown simply because it dares to not be tied up or down. She is imo gorgeous, and her hair in it’s natural state does nothing but ratchet that pov up.

Thank you for the above comments. Zahara is a well behaved, beautiful, happy child. She is a beautiful African baby who has beautiful African hair. As an African American woman, I say, leave her alone. Please don’t put our American hangups on a child. Don’t start torturing her so we can feel better. (This is from experience with all the stuff that was done to my hair. It was not fun).
I personally am happy they don’t overstyle Zahara’s or Shiloh’s hair. They both have it just like they were born with. Let them be children and not “short adults” with $10,000 hair cuts to be trendy.
Excuse the rant.

Sooo trendy and so cool:D They are absolutely ADORABLE!!! They’re drop dead gorgeous! I bet Brad couldn’t be prouder:d
And hold your breath, because if the new baby is a girl, she will surely look more like angelina, being the second biological girl. It often happens so. One child resembles more to the mother and the other to the father. So…imagine what would be then!!!
I can’t believe how perfectly Shiloh combines the physical features of her parents. I look at her and when I say “definitely she looks like brad”, I look again and it seems that I see an Angelina miniature. Amazing work of nature!

I’m so loving all these pix of this beautiful family! And how cute are Z and Shi dressed in black like their amazing mommy! Love the pix of Shi with the cute jacket. As for Brad’s new tattoo, it certainly is different! I think it’s unfinished and there is more to be done.

thank very much to isacutie and ligaya!!!! you’re great!
lou: nobody here said something bad about z’hair. if you look at the comments it’s only “cute hair”, “it’s beautiful”, “it’s fab and so fashion” etc…
everybody here love Z’s hair!

I love the fact that everyone thinks Shi looks like Brad, just because she has blond hair, in fact if you go to pitt watch she has a collage up for mother’s day and there is a pic of AJ with her mother when she was little lower right hand corner and a pic of AJ and shi in the upper left hand corner (almost the same pic) and Shi looks like AJ. Although this is just my opinion, I defy anyone to say they don’t look the same.

I’m glad pittwatchers are standing up for Z’s natural hair. Someone on another blog compared it to Tamika’s hairdo (she’s a reporter on one of tv’s entertainment shows). I love India.Arie’s song “I Am Not My Hair” (I am not your expectations. I am a soul that lives within.)

Just saw the pics of AJ and Brad and the boys on a boat - on Just Jared. Mad and Pax look tired I wonder if they got their shots at the doctors, might not be felling well. Just an observation but I may be way off base.

Melodie, I’d love to but I’m computer illiterate. Would my hubby have to upload the photo & post it on your sister’s blog? There’s no need to post our email address here, is there? It’s not secure.

How much more can i take? I wish i can teach folks that Zee’s hair is NOT wild like a lions mane; it doesn’t need to be fixed; why is it so hard to accept that her hair is perfect? It’s gorgeous, beautiful and alive with dancing personality; i love shiloh to death, but i never complain about her hair - nobody does. the question is…why? it’s so straight; it’s so blonde; it’s always flying in the wind, but nobody complains, and the reason is because this society has taught us that possessing such attributes are a positive thing; look at the television commercials sometimes; notice how the “before” pictures are of curly/frizzy hair and the “after” pics are of long straight hair; All i’m trying to say is, People, please stop insinuating that something is wrong with zee’s hair; her hair is beyond perfect; God blessed her with that beauty, just like He blessed Shiloh, pax and maddox; i wonder if people would be happier if zee’s lively locks just surrendered, died and fell lifelessly flat to her head; would that satisfy you all?
Finally - (for those of you who really don’t understand) there are all types of people on this great earth; it’s okay to accept the beauty of others EVEN IF they don’t look exactly like you. How boring would it be if we all looked like you?

These are precious. What a lovely picture the three girls make in their matching dresses. I think that Zahara and Shiloh are lucky to be so close in age and are going to grow up being wonderful friends to each other.
Shiloh is definitely losing her babyhood looks in the past few months. Those chubby little baby legs are almost gone! The summer sun seems to have tinted her hair a shade lighter as well. I can just imagine all the fun they’re having in their balcony pool.
Lou, I agree with you. All the fuss over Zahara’s hair is utterly bewildering to me; I don’t understand why it’s any more of an issue if she likes to wear her hair out than if Shi likes to wear her hair out? It’s not hurting anybody and she looks gorgeous either way. I’m sure that as she gets older she’ll develop her own taste for styling her hair and when that day comes she can visit all the salons she wants. But for now she’s three years old, and there are much more important things for her to focus on (like playing!) than what style her hair is.
