Pittwatch.com: Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Gossip

Godmother doubting Pitt/Jolie relationship

by Christina on February 13th, 2006

According to the Sun, Jenny Shimizu doesn’t see Brad and Angelina’s relationship as lasting and quotes Jenny saying this:

It seems like he comes from a different place. He wants to have kids and he wants to have a perfect marriage. She’s a tough woman who will do everything she wants to. I don’t think there is any way of controlling Angelina. She’s not going to be a housewife. There has never been an ending to her and I. I think there never will be. I think we will continue to have a deep relationship … her passion is people and it’s hard to just settle down with one person when you have a whole world in front of you”

I can’t say that I disagree with her, but oh I don’t want to see Brad heartbroken! What do you think?

Jenny went onto a British talk show to say that was a complete lie and she never said that at all. I think a clip is on the internet somewhere.

Hi Susie and thanks for the tip. My computer is down right now, so I will catch up just as soon as it is fixed (hopefully by Wed. night). I will definitely hunt down that video! Thanks for the comments! :)

Whether she said it or not (and I can’t see saying it being a good thing for her friendship with Angelina): It’s perfectly possible to be in a lifelong ‘perfect’ marriage, with both partners having independence while still loving and committed. I don’t understand where all these assumptions come from about marriage equating to being some 50s “housewife”.

Hi Marie - I definitely agree with you there. I hope the best for them. It must be mighty darned hard to have *any* kind of relationship in the public eye. I bet they are both fascinating people to be around, and they certainly seem from the outside looking in to be a very well suited couple. It will definitely be interesting to watch. Thanks for reading, and for the comment, Marie!

I think this is the best shot for both of them. Will it last? Maybe.

But Angie is far saner then she has ever been and Brad does not do being alone and falls into the groove fairly easily of whatever woman he’s with.

He has the kids and he has a gorgeous movie star wife. Like I said it should work.

A couple of months before Mrs. Smith starting shooting Brad was on several talk shows and I remember saying this guy has one foot out the door. He was just done. Remember all that business about monogamy not being natural…was it in Vanity Fair. Anywho seems pretty natural to him. This guy likes relationships.

I don’t think he left Jen just for Angie but I think he left her because Angie gave him the opportunity to have a kids.

    Hey Christina

I would love to help you out with that video, but I really don’t remember where it could be found. But I do remember that it was on a British Gay and Lesbian talk show. There were two hosts, a man and a woman and the video was on their website. If I come across it again, I’ll let you know.

Hey Susie, thanks SO much! Did I mention I can’t stand dial up?

Diana - if no one gets to it before I do, I will summarize it for you just as quick as I can get it up (which is slow this week…LOL). Thanks so much for reading PittWatch and for the comments, and thanks again Susie for the video link!

Welcome Diana, and glad you found us! I have always loved both Brad and Angelina and to mix them together is just amazing, methinks. Certainly interesting to watch, and we might as well watch together, right?? :)

I think Brad left Jen because he just wasn’t that into her. Come on, the couple were set up on a blind date by the their agents. that should tell you something. I think he fell hard for Angie and has been chasing her every since.
