This photo of Angelina Jolie and Jack Black comparing belly size is just hilarious. I love the sense of humor that seems to be shared among the cast of Kung Fu Panda, it looks like they got along so well and had a lot of laughs along the way.

I just hope they didn’t place any bets - I’m pretty sure Angelina will be giving birth before Jack!

Sherry, the thanks goes to you. You have really kept us informed. It must be hard at times, doing this and trying to keep up with your family and home. I bless the day last summer when I found your website. For the most part all the Pittwatchers are nice people or share a love for the Jolie-Pitts. I go to other sites to look for pictures and the comments are embrassing. Any way this picture looks like the Panda is enjoying the view also.

reading info on our famous, favorite couple, are hands on parents and since neither cook, feed the kids a lot of fast food. ( I am getting there)Did you check out brad is getting a little tummy. When showing off his tatoos before boarding the helicopter, I noticed his stomach. you never know what is true and what is fiction .. being the case .. chef’s can prepare and the family sit down to a family dinner ..I love this family and in no way am being critical. Personally, at home I pick my battles.. and fighting at the table is one I advoid. My 8 yr old lives on peanut butter & jelly. Last year it was chicken nuggets, when he was small he would eat anything…now he is sooo choosy.
Did any of you catch Jon Voight the other night on TMZ??? The press was pressing him on Angelina and he was trying to get the heck out of Dodge. He was telling them “what are you trying to do to me” I am not saying anything. When asked if he and his daughter were making up his answer was it is in the works.. leave me alone.

have you noticed ????? everytime you see or read something about Brad and Angelina, the very next whatever article or news cast is about Jennifer Annistan. The press won’t leave her alone either. How sad even for her. They paste Brad and his family everywhere then show Jen in a bikini somewhere hanging on her latest. I prefer Angie anytime but it still is kinda sad for golie locks

EXPLOSION of news. I don’t think they ever caused such a stirr before. I refreshed the web page once in 15-20 minutes and every time was another new headline about them, from Cannes.
I think the reason are the tweens. They are the real stars, as someone said:)
Angelina was GORGEOUS in green. But then again, she look stuning in any colour:P

sorry, I just meant that Brad and Angie supposedly feed their kinds a lot of fast, fried food that they get themselves verses the help. My thinking was what did it matter who fixed it as long as they sat down together to eat. Then I thought of my own child who won’t eat anything that resembles a vegetable. I have been fussed at for this but I hate the drama of fighting about what he eats at the dinner table.

First of all, I think Angelina Jolie looks great, esp. in the white dress. Secondly, even though I am first and foremost a Brad Pitt fan, I must say that he looks like he´d rather be someplace else (actually I can´t blame him). He looks very unnerved, whereas AJ looks very charming and high-spirited. What really stuck out for me is how much she seems to be enjoying this pregnancy. She is forever touching her belly, and I really think this is cute. I am glad she seems to be happy to be pregnant, and not just doing it for Brad. I do admire her, as carrying twins cannot be a lot of fun - she looks enormous, and she said it will still be a few months - which could be August, and oh my, poor her. I was huge with my second one, and it was not a twin. So I do not envy her; at the same time she has much more help than I had, so I think she will manage! :-)

luv jack black!!! he is one of my faves… “nacho libre”…yay… but here is something that has been bugging me. wayyyy before brad and jennifer were divorced. there was an article or interview on one of the major magazines; can’t remember for the life of me or peace of mind, but in this article, i remember jennifer being asked if there was any particular female that her husband brad fantasized about, and her answer was: angelina jolie!!! does anyone remember this?? and this was way before “mr. and mrs. smith”…… like a year before?? but would someone help me out on this?? or did i imagine it???

This is a cute picture, like the one where the two of them are bumping bellies earlier on. I’m not a great big fan of Jack Black, but I think he’s perfect for the voice of Po.

i noticed it too sophia and ligaya. but when i saw the photo of them in the car on their way home, i figured out that maybe brad wants to have some quality time with angie. (i’m not quite sure though)

i have to laugh at brad be distracted comments,angie is pregnant with twins and the press was all over them in every picture i’ve see,plus trying to climb those stairs and descend them.i think brad looked liked a very concern expectant father trying to protect his woman and his two babies,love them.

Sherry, that’s right we should be the ones thanking you for all your work on this site. As far as Jon Voight that someone here mentioned, if you read Lainey’s blog from two days ago, Lainey was in Cannes at the press conference. One of the questions to Angie while she was seating next to Dustin H., was, What was your favorite Jon V movies? The first one she mentioned was Midnight Cowboy and she mentioned that “it was weird because my Dad was playing the role of a prostitute.” Then Dustin H. and the crowd laughed. Now, remember Dustin H. won the Oscar in that movie. Then Angie proceeded to lists the others. Lainey said she was classy. In today’s blog, she mentioned about them going to a Chinese restaurant, first to arrive and very friendly to everybody. I am so proud of this family. I think Brad looked tanned, more relaxed and wants to be with kids instead of being in public. Angie mentioned once that Brad is very private.

And Lucy, yes, he is a more private person and probably doesn´t enjoy such moments a whole lot, but it was just noticeable that he wasn´t smiling at all.

CANNES, France - Angelina Jolie took two of her children to the movies the other night, and they seemed to enjoy it. One of them was quiet, but the other one was moving around to the music.

The picture was Kung Fu Panda, an animated adventure in which Jolie does one of the voices - she’s a martial arts tigress who helps a fat and friendly panda, voiced by Jack Black, learn his kung fu moves - and the babies were along because she has no choice. They’re kind of stuck in her.

“It’s funny to be doing all this and feeling movement,” the very pregnant Jolie told reporters Friday morning, the night after the Thursday screening of Kung Fu Panda at the Cannes Film Festival, where it is screening out of competition. She’s expecting twins, and while one of them was quiet, one was moving to the film’s soundtrack.

As revealed this week, Jolie will have twins on Aug 29, a date given out by Black, who didn’t know it was a secret (”Hadn’t everyone known that she was having twins?” he asked after he spilled the beans earlier this week. “Was that a revelation? Big deal. Get over it.”) But it was the woman herself - dressed in a sleeveless white sundress and looking every inch like a person about to deliver two children - who got most of the attention.

Jolie said she took the role in Kung Fu Panda partly because two of her adopted children (when her twins are born, she’ll have six altogether) are Asian and the movie is set in China, whose culture and history are important in her household. “Then I got to be a cool tiger, so I impressed my children,” she added.

Being a tiger seems to suit Jolie, an actress known as much for her wild youth - rebellion, tattoos, being married to Billy Bob Thornton and sharing vials of blood with him - as her performing talent. She is the daughter of actor Jon Voight, a heritage against which she at first rebelled.

“I never felt smart when I was young,” she said. “Because I was a punk kid and had different coloured hair. The first time I was in Washington, I covered my tattoos. I was considered, as you all know, just a wild person, and there was a part of me that didn’t feel I was also a thinker. I always had an insecurity about that. “I’m growing into that as a woman, I’m feeling more confident now.”

Jolie proved herself as an actress in the TV drama Gia and in her movie breakthrough in Girl, Interrupted, which won her an Oscar. Since then she has divided her career between action fare like the Lara Croft movies and serious projects such as A Mighty Heart, the story of Mariane and Daniel Pearl that played the festival last year. This year in Cannes, she’s also starring in Clint Eastwood’s Changeling as the mother of a kidnapped boy, a role she said she found very emotional.

These days, she’s known as much for her philanthropy as her acting - she’s the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency - and when someone asks about her inner tiger, her first reaction is that she helps run an animal sanctuary in Cambodia that protects tigers and she has a tiger tattoo.

“The tiger kung fu style is all attack . . . and they’re very independent creatures, and they’re majestic. Any way I can be compared to a tiger, I’d gladly take it.” She added, “I think that every woman’s got that in her.”

Which sort of brings us back to the twins. Jolie says she hopes to take a long time off, perhaps as much as a year, although that will depend on the timetable for the film version of Atlas Shrugged, in which she is to star. Her partner Brad Pitt will work, and she’ll have time for full-time motherhood. But that doesn’t mean she won’t be in the movie business, at least in a way.

“A thing very important to us in the house is culture, is culture for our kids, even the colour of the children in the cartoons. There’s still not a Disney princess who’s African, and it’s very difficult because our daughter’s getting into princesses right now . . . these are things we’re very conscious of.”

Jolie admits to being surprised at the scope of this new role. She says she never thought she’d be stable enough and calm enough and be able to give up herself enough to be a parent.

“I always loved children, but I didn’t know if I’d ever be a good mom, be ready to be a good mom. But I always wanted to adopt. What surprised me is that I never planned on having children biologically. I was dead set on just always adopting and it felt right to me and it was children who needed a home and I had no maternal desire to have children.

This couple is really quite amazing. This conversation is a bit similar to the one about Angelina at the Golden Globes last year. In a few photos, she was not smiling, so the newspapers said she was in a bad mood. When in reality, there were quite a few photos of her smiling. The same is true of Brad here. In a few, he is serious looking, in others, he is smiling, just like in most of these types of events. If you look at their red carpet appearances, it is the same. Sometimes they smile and sometimes they don’t.

I think in contrast to Angelina, who had a big smile on her face the whole time, it seemed like he was not smiling that much, but he did smile. You see it in the videos more than the stills.

Photos only tell a small part of this event. Let’s not overanalyze, just enjoy. Thanks for the site.

I think Brad is extra worried–he’s always been so protective of Angie. It’s papz overload times 50 and yes, Angie had to go up and down those stairs on top of that. Angie on the other hand is just loving this moment in time, smiling and glowing as she should be–life is fantastic! She LOVES being pregnant, has a great partner and family, two new movies out….About the color of her dress, my paint swatches (I went to design school) best matches are called “dark celery”, “avocado” and “jalapeno pepper”.

Sherry reported possible pregnancy rumor in Oct, of course it wasn’t from a reliable source, but it would now make sense. I for one can’t wait till August so I am hoping that early June is more likely.

I’m having trouble emailing you and assume you’ll read this. No need to post this one! It’s an FYI to you: Today’s Washington Post’s Cannes coverage reports that Angelina is eight months pregnant. It mentions this in passing. I’ve wondered if that August 19 due date wasn’t a bait-and-switch to steer away the paps. For starters, it’s uncharacteristic of Brangelina to divulge something so personal and so concrete. Plus, I cannot imagine her having three months to go!

I think he smiled enough. Those RC are so intense, and after the fan rushed him last year, he’s not as relaxed, plus he is watching over his pregnant wife. Making sure she’s not pushed by the mob, must be nerve racking even for a seasoned veteran like Brad. Thank goodness Angie is young and strong, but I can understand Brad’s discomfort during this and probably Tuesdays RC, as long as she is pregnant. Sherry you really do a great job and I enjoy reading the comments, love this site. Thanks so much.

Yeah,
I agree with those who are saying Brad was normal. I am usually pretty sensitive to body language and I did not pick up on anything unusual. On the contrary, he seemed more relaxed in that he was just being himself, and no one smiles ALL the time. He also seemed to be looking out for Angie AND remember, this was her premiere, not his, so he probably wanted to allow her to shine and stay a bit more in the background.
But here is something I noticed which is kind of strange and COULD perhaps account for his more sober attitude in certain circumstances: Once I saw some live footage of the two of them signing autographs and virtually everyone was calling out “Angelina! Angelina!” and trying to get her autograph. Very few people were calling out “Brad!” It was almost humiliating for him and he ended up being like her chaperon. Angie is clearly the mega star right now. And she deserves to be, of course : )

What we refer to as a “smoking” in Germany is called a “tuxedo” in English. ;-). So, if this story is true, little Shiloh would have weed on Brad´s tux!

I enjoyed the video. I also believe that Brad is just worried about Angelina. Afraid that she is going to over do and become very tired. He is a very caring person and probably is real worried about her. She looks really big in this video, and I have hard time believing that she will go all the way to the middle of August. I can’t wait to see what she wears on Tuesday.

I agree with Loren’s comments plus this time there was no private security or at least I did not see anyone like Mickey just there to make sure Angelina was ok. Now I am sure Cannes had their own security but it still not to same. Have you seen the pictures as they were trying to leave the after party. Very scary if the woman you love is six to seven month pregnant.

I watched the RC on IFC. The commentators noted that the crowd was yelling “Brad, Brad” when they first arrived. So I think the crowds were yelling both names- as the crowds usually do. Brad acted normally- it was not his movie. He did not need to nor want to appear as if he upstaging the stars of the move. And he is the partner of a woman who is very, very heavy with pregnancy of twins. I think he saw his role there as the protector and the one to watch out for her.

Not many people exhibit Sense and Sensibility, when they give their “opinions” based on seconds of action or snapshots in time. I have seen a whole group of pictures and in some Brad is not smiling, but in others he is. There are video’s also.

Am not really surprised that some people find things amiss in these pictures and judge it accordingly. This is what they want and need to see…it makes them feel better and perhaps justified.

as for Brads hand on Angies butt i have to say that i am a little old-fashioned and don´t really like this gesture, but i guess thats just me, again.
