Jolie’s Bodyguard Shows Some Tough Love
The press in India where the lovely family is now staying are claiming that the bodyguards for the Pitt-Jolies (yeah, I put Brad first) are being rude, obnoxious and just plain scary:
The incident happened at around 2 pm on Saturday afternoon when the London-based photographer from Barcroft Media, Sam Relph, tried to click a picture of the film crew who had stepped into the driveway. ‘‘I was just taking pictures generally in the hotel when this security guy came up and caught me by my throat and told me: ‘If you take any pictures of Angelina, I’ll kill you’. I was caught completely unaware and didn’t know how to react because he caught me so hard that I was breathless,’’ Relph said. According to Relph, the threat was liberally laced with swear words. Well, good for him. They ought to back up a bit and let the poor folks breathe. I have little love for the papparazzi (still haven’t gotten over the Princess Di thingy), but I do like to see their pictures. Some of you have already seen this one at JustJared (I love that blog), but I’ll post it anyway so we can see just how adorable this little family is again.

It might be better to get this news from Indian sources:
“Eyewitnesses backed up his claim, saying the beefy personnel also used abusive language and threatened to ‘thrash’ Pelf if he did not stop clicking pictures of the security guards.”
I think it’s important that he was taking photos OF THE GUARDS.

I actually did use an Indian newspaper as my source. If it weren’t for the journalists in Pune we’d have no idea of what the Pittsters were doing over there.
Weird that they were taking pics of the bodyguards… Wonder why?

Thank you, thank you Robyn, this is heaven. Thanks JustJared for the photos. Did you see where Brad’s hand or arm is in the first picture above? I read somewhere that they had lunch at the hotel (chicken tandori) and hotel staff said they were normal and warm. I wonder what “normal” means in their culture. Did’nt their boodyguards also made news the first week when they arrived in Namibia? Brangelina is so, so hot and popular right now that’s why security is very tight especially in a foreign country. I am originally from Asia(Philippines) and I know it is very different there.

Security *is* tight there. I heard there was a CNN video of the security guard tussle (can’t find it). If so, it could spell trouble.

I think if they had chosen to hold a press conference upon arriving in Pune most of this would not had happened. Also, I too read about this issue from sources in India and they all say the Pitts have been extremely rude and the bodyguards have been very abusive considering they are filming in their country.

I don’t think the Pitts are rude, if you read the article from JustJared, Brad even wave to the people from the rickshaw. He stuck his head out
if you see the picture above. A press conference is usually held after the filming to thank the people for their “hospitality” and considering the Pitts, they might even donate money for a school or something. I don’t think they are rude.

I can’t help but get the feeling that Angie is so much more relaxed when out of the U.S….nice to see her wide open smile and obvious interplay between her & Brad. Wish all the best for them and their family…

I’ve watched Brad for years (well, drooled over him) and I’ve yet to see him be rude (though he’s certainly had reason to be). I’d be VERY surprised if it turned out to be true.
Do y’all remember those Celebrity Papparrazi shows that used to come on cable, where you’d follow a papparrazi around while they tried to get pics? Those guys were beasts, and I watched them follow Pitt and Paltrow (at the time) around and they were good natured about it, even tricking them by going around to the back of a building and then speeding away (zooming in would show them laughing like they’d won). He seemed to take it well.

Thanks Robyn. You have a vivid memory. I hate to recollect this part also regarding paparazzi because there was this special on tv. They showed this feature when Brad was with JA. They showed Jen and Brad shopping at Rodeo Drive (since their Beverly Hills residence is nearby). After Jen was done shopping from one of the shops, she waited in front of the store until Brad was able to pick her up in an SUV. IT was quite an effort because all the paps were surrounding the place. You never saw a bad face from him or a “rude” comment. Especially now that he is around kids, I don’t think he will act rude for Maddox to see or hear. Did you notice how he place his arm on Angie’s thigh? Did you see how Maddox hand on his thigh? So cute first picture above.

I will not apologize for saying Micky was right on and I would have done the same thing. I just this moment watched how off the beam the crazy paps there were and I’m telling you, it was nuts and so dangerous how they were chasing after them and I can now understand the terror on Maddoxs face. I know it comes with the territory but sometimes Princes Di type chasing and relentless disrepect for anyone all in the name of getting a click click, shoot, Micky should have pounded him some more if you ask me!

I believe that B+A’s bodyguard might have been rude to a photog, but it’s certain that the photog was rude first. Paparazzi all over the world are like beasts hunting prey when they see celebs, and pics of B+A are absolutely the hottest celebs in the world right now. It’s funny but Angelina has often reminded me of Princess Di (not in looks or in personality, just in terms of her being a beautiful humanitarian who is constantly hounded by the media). Just thinking about all those paparazzi surrounding Angelina all the time make me a bit nervous for her. So I say, more power to their bodyguards, someone needs to protect Angelina and her family!

Ooooh!! Now i get it! I thought they were in a car or something. so, ricksaw is bajay in indonesia.*lol* i can’t believe that they have the same “advanture” with me with this vehicle.
fyi, this vehicle gives you soooo much vibrations! that’s why brad put his arm on angie’s thigh, so he can protect mad and angie at the same time. this vehicle doesn’t have a savety belt either.
actually, riding that is so much fun, becuz it’s windy. unless you have a lots of papz chasing you. now i understand why mickey brett was soooo mad on this.
you go mickey!!! kick those papz’ ass!!! they could put BAMZS’s life in danger.
i hope the jolie pitts are doing well.

Viva Brangelina,
In the Philippines, we call them pedicabs, they are small but fast, bouncy and yah no seat belts. They are designed for those short people like me. So I can see now why Brad’s legs are squeezed in and he is using his arm as a seatbelt for Angie and Mad. What a nice guy!

don’t you find it funny that these superstars share the same advanture with us?
yeah.. what i know this vehicle origins from india.
i usually put my arm around my daughter’s body as a seat belt when we ride this vehicle. and they are usally being used for a short trip.
and brad squeezed legs are funny too =D
