Lipstick: The weirdest Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie products ever

I’m all for supporting a good cause, and raising awareness and funding for research for breast cancer is one of them. However, this is possibly the weirdest product for charity – or product, period! – that I have ever seen.
Feelunique.com and artist Willard Wigan have created two lipsticks that are carved in the likeness of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. No, really.
Brad and Angie were voted as the “most kissable couple” in some survey (well, duh), and so in honor of that, Wigan created a carving of each head in a pink lipstick.
I can sort of see how the resemblance is meant to be there, although I’m not sure that I would have known it was supposed to be Brad and Angelina’s likeness if I hadn’t been told. Still, it’s a lipstick; it’s not exactly a large surface area to work with, so I assume there are limitations to your art and all.
Obviously, one would expect that they aren’t meant to be used. Especially considering the current high bid is £220.00 or approximately $300+ in US dollars.
The cause is a good one, I just don’t know if I’d be bidding on lipstick carvings to help out, even if it IS Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie! If you’d like to, though, here you go!

In other news, the hotel story has been refuted by the hotel itself, which is not surprising. However, I’m leaving it up anyway, because I still think it’s interesting to discuss the fact that people were so quick to blame Brad and Angelina as though it was their fault when they weren’t even there. I still stand by the fact that even the best behaved kids are still kids and will still try to push boundaries if given a chance, especially if mom and dad aren’t around!

the lipsticks are funny, but a good cause. Sherry glad to hear the hotel story was not true. I didn’t think it was, they have more than enough people to watch the kids when they are out.

This is just weird.
The lipstick thing is for sure very strange. I think its great to raise money and all but I still get a tinge of riding on someone elses ‘coat tails’ you know. I like the way Brad and Angelina raise money for their projects, they lead by example and I’m willing to support the things I believe in under those circumstances but to put out a poll and then carve them into lipstick and sell the lipstick??? Uh no.
I didn’t even comment on the kids in the hotel because in my heart I really hope those kids do get to run around and make noise and I totally think that is part of being a kid. I’m sure they do because you can see the child like mischieviousness in their fathers eyes. And I just didn’t believe a fancy hotel like that would have allowed it. Angelina and Brad may have been the most famous people staying in the hotel that night but I doubt they were the richest. There are tons of rich people we’ve never heard of that stay in places like that and they have plenty of say so in such circumstances they don’t need the press to publish their plight. Ugh. I hate the rumors and gossip part of being a fan of Angelina and Brad. I just want to admire them for their honest effort to live life to the fullest.
Wouldn’t they have to agree with this? Maybe they felt the cause justified the means, even if it is weird.
I think greater minds could have come up with something a bit better then expensive lipsticks. What about lips?????
Very weird, but for a good cause what will they think of next. Happy the kids story was not true, these days people just make up stories about the Jolie-Pitt everyday. Angelina is very organised and incredibly efficient,she would not leave the kids to run wild as people make it out to be, but kids will be kids.

Mary Ann, I don’t quite understand what you were trying to say. Yes, they have plenty of people to watch the kids when they’re out, but that doesn’t mean the kids won’t act up from time to time!
However, I am glad to hear that story isn’t true!
Oh, and speaking of the Hotel story, here’s something I’ve been wondering for awhile: Where in the world do all the Jolie-Pitts sleep while they’re in Hotels? Most hotel rooms I’ve been in have two beds at the most, and a few have a couch that folds out into a third bonus bed.
I realize that the hotels the J-Ps stay at are fancier than the ones we “normal” people stay at, but still, a hotel is a hotel! Obviously Knox and Viv sleep in cribs (I kind of hope that Angie and Brad bring their own cribs for the twins, though, as most hotel cribs are old and unsafe. Of course, the hotels with those kinds of cribs are the ones we “normal” people stay at, so maybe fancier hotels have better cribs), but does anyone have any idea where the rest of the kids sleep?
I used to wonder where the nannies, bodyguards, and other staff sleep, but it sounds like they rent out most of a floor and the staff get their own rooms.
joliepittfanatic, you should get out more. Fact is hotels are not motels because they have various standards of accommodations, you know, the Presidential Suite, the Honeymoon Suite, etc. If you have the money they have the accommodations to suit ANY type of customer, especially if it is a five star hotel whose type of customer could range anywhere between rock bands and oil sheiks to Hollywood divas and royal personage or two, etc.
Joliepittfan, there are different kinds of rooms in a hotel. There is a so-called suite where there are three bedrooms inside with separate bathrooms plus a little kitchen and a small living room. It’s very convenient for the whole family. If you have a baby, they will lend you a crib which is also pretty nice.
regarding this lipstick thing, the images don’t look like Brad and Angie at all. OK it’s for a good cause. I shouldn’t say more…. but it’s really weird. I could carve faces on a soap and say it’s Angie and Brad even when it’s not, then I will get lots of dollars. They’re being used coz they are very popular. mmmmmm….
Neil, fair enough. I’ve stayed in Motels, not Hotels. I guess I just have a hard time picturing a suite big enough for eight people!

The UK media which first reported the children’s hotel story now reports that today Brad was refused by the security censor which heavily protecting his property from paparazzi.
This must be true because everything written in those papers must be true. Just kidding.
This whole lipstick thing is weird. Hope they gave the make-up factory their permission (which I strongly doubt). BTW. I didn´t believe that hotel story for a second. I was very certain that it was another fabricated story invented by tabloids. It was a good thing that the hotel refuted the story. The JP kids sure have boundaries and their nannies sure know how to do their work. So case closed (hopefully!).

Most of the hotels the Jolie-Pitt’s stay in the rooms or suits are like condos/apt. some will even have kitchen, dinning rooms, living room and separate bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Also depending on where you are staying they are not as much as you would think, most resorts now have them. and it becomes more economical to get a suit with a full Kitchen and cook your own food, rather then going out to eat three time a day when you are on vacation for a couple of weeks.
jolipittfanatic, I didn’t want to repeat on this thread what I had said on the original story. I of all people know how kids act up, I live with 2 and we have gone on vacations with them. But my point was the Brad and Angie had rented numerous rooms on that one floor. They were staying there so they could go to the awards, so I would think that there was more than one nanny there and how ever many body guards they employ. One guard would have been with them at the award show, but I would think that there were others at the hotel. And as one other Pittwatcher commented, they have to be careful of kidnapping of their children. I have always thought that this was a made up story to make Brad and Angie look bad.

LG- Sherry has to approve moderated comments manually, and sometimes that process takes quite awhile. In this case, I suspect she’s been spending time with her family (from what I can tell, she seems to try to devote weekends to her family as much as possible). Also, her daughter has been sick recently, so she may still be recovering and thus need her mommy more than usual.
I guess I am not up to date with the hotel story. What was the story about?
Lucy- The Sun, a UK tabloid, reported that, while Angie and Brad were at the BAFTAs, the kids were running up and down the hallway of the hotel screaming, which disturbed the guests. They also said that the nanny was unable to stop them.
