Maddox visits Angelina in the hospital
We’ve seen Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt dropping by the hospital to visit Angelina Jolie who is still under observation, but now we get to see Maddox being slipped inside as well to go see his Mom.
I’m sure the kids are being kept busy back home at the chateau. With four of them together, plus all that space to run around outside, they won’t have much time to be bored, so that will keep their mind off the fact that Angelina is still in the hospital. Still, I’m sure that they enjoy being able to see her periodically throughout the day so that they can spend a bit of time together even if she can’t be at home with them. She likely calls them at bedtime as well to say good night - I know I did that when I was in the hospital after having my second baby, and it helped to call my oldest at 8 pm to say good night to her at the end of the day, even if I had just seen her an hour earlier.
Some people have asked whether this is really normal, for Angelina to be hospitalized. I’m not a medical professional but I think it’s probably neither normal nor abnormal. Several people have said this is standard procedure in France, even though I know several people who didn’t have to be in the hospital for so long before having twins. It’s also possible that Angelina had some signs of labor and they weren’t quite ready to deliver the babies yet, or she might have some pre-eclampsia. Both pre-term labor and pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure and protein in the urine) can indeed be serious but not if you’re being closely monitored. If that is the case then the doctor was being honest by saying that she’s fine and everything is “normal” while still requiring a stay in the hospital.
As long as the babies stay in there as long as they can, that will be great.

Sherry-That’s exactly what I was thinking. Since their residence is a ways from the hospital, its much safer and easier for her to stay there until the babies come. Probably more for Brad’s peace of mind too! Can you imagine Angie going into labor at 2pm, while the other four kids are playing and Brad scrambling to keep everyone calm and get them to hospital? Bless them both. I hope all my American girls have a great 4th of July! God Bless our soldiers, past and present, at home and abroad. God Bless their families for the sacrifices they make as well.

The reality is none of us know what her ACTUAL due date is. That said, we can’t say she is going to be in the hospital for an extremely long time. Her physician said ‘in the weeks to come’ and that can mean two or four. Personally, I’m leaning toward two, for a mid-month delivery.
That is in line with the fact that twins generally come three to four weeks earlier than singelton births. Also, if that date of 8/19 thrown out by Dustin Hoffman is correct, a mid July birth is in line with that time frame.
I wish them a healthy next couple of weeks and birth. Hopefully they aren’t too disrupted with the paps/media camped outside the hospital.

NO ,I THINK BRAD JUST WANT HIS HONEY TO BE Safe. i bit HE IS THE ONE WHO MAKE HER STAY IN THE HOSPITAL. KNOWING HOW TOUGH ANGIE IS.AND BESIDE HAVING FOUR TO LOOK AT AND A VERY PREGNANT SWEET HEART IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. AND PROBABLY EVEN if brad family are there and the hospital is 6o miles away. he just want to make sure his darling is taken care of. happy fourth of JULY everyone.

Their house is 60 k away from the hospital..thats quite a way for the children to go for a visit…my guess is that she won’t be in for long if everything is normal…if there is any kind of complication then it seems she needs to be in there even if it means being seperated from the little ones..so lets see.. i think sooner rather than later…i’m betting VERY soon!

I TAW Gena - this is a safety precaution and BP is being extra careful. The Doc said REST before the twins come, and with her dedication to all the kids, my bet is that she can’t say no to them, or defer them to “nanny” or daddy. I hope she soaks in all the care and love for her and chooses down time for the health and well being of herself AND the twins. Let them develop fully - it’s far better for their development at this point for them to be in! Peace to all and Happy 4th to all JP family and their fans around the world.

I have to agree with you all, the length from the hospital plus i think brad decided this,i remember angie saying in an interview brad is the one that makes all the arrangements when they’re overseas,madd is so cute.

It is important to remember that every individual has a different “normal” and that each person will have a different experience, so I try not to judge normal as a group.
I believe the doctor when he said it was a scheduled admission. So, I don’t necessarily think there is a specific health problem per se. I really dont think the doctor would be dishonest.
I tend to go along with being cautious and Mr. Pitt probably has more to do with this than he would probably admit. I think he is thinking about both Angelina and the new borns, as he should. I don’t think he has left by the way, as we have not seen him since he brought the girls to the hospital.
I also agree that having four young children, even with family, nannies and Brad could keep her from doing more than she probably should. It is her nature. The longer the babies stay inside, the better. So, she got a room with a view to help pass the time. Thanks.

As their home is 60 miles from the hospital do you think that maybe the children are staying some place close to the hospital? As excited as we all are for the new babies we are all in agreement that the longer they are inside Angie the better it is for them. My prayers are with them every day.

I think it is all for safety precautions. She must have false labor & maybe Brad insisted that she should stay in the hospital. For any reason, that’s the best for Angie & the babies to be in right now. Brad must be there in the hospital all this time, haven’t seen him. God bless the Jolie=Pitt’s.

I just hope she is okay. I am not familiar with pregnancy cases since I haven’t been in that position. I adopted my only child. Hoping for a safe delivery.

Yes, Maddox is so totally cute. I confess that, since I bonded with him since he was an infant (through photos & videos, lol), he’s my favorite (gasp!). I had Mad to love all by his lonesome until Zahara came along. I love all the kids, really - my love for them is as close as my four fingers together.
Whatever the situation, I trust Angie & Brad will make the best decisions for their family, and I won’t bother trying to second-guess them. A sante!

Happy Independence Day/4th of July everybody! I celebrated by seeing Wanted for the 4th time & KFP for the 5th time. ;-) I just had to get my Angelina fix. This time, I saw Fox’s scar from when she was branded by her father’s killer. I still closed my eyes through all the knife scenes. Still adrenaline rush exciting. I think I might get the soundtrack. (I also wanted to add to W’s & KFP’s box office, I wanted to help prove some fanboy sites wrong when they predicted Wanted was going to crash this weekend.) I ran into 3 of my girlfriends, we were sitting in the same row & didn’t know – they LOVED it.
Honors go to all our Armed Forces members, living & dead, and their families – not just today, Veterans’ Day & Memorial Day too. Actually, for me this is a great day to remember my civics & history lessons, and remind myself what the American Revolution was all about, the Constitution & Bill of Rights too. Marcheline Bertrand was part Iroquois, wasn’t she? My husband said our Constitution was based on the Iroquois Confederacy’s treaties.

Wanted is expected to have some serious competition this weekend, Hancock is opening and Wall-e is in play too.
Considering the type of film it is, I think Wanted is doing OK. LOL @ people predicting “predicted” doom and gloom as if it’s unexpected. $70plus million in a week is good, for a film that was expected to make less.

ITA with your post BlessBrangelina. Wanted was not expected to do more than 30 million the first week. It is doing much better than expected. If it makes 100 million in US alone, I think everyone will be happy with the results.

Too funny, Susie! ;-) When it comes to technology, I’m roadkill. I know how to make a call & answer my cell, but not the rest of the functions like picking up my messages & using the camera. And I get sick too often, so I wouldn’t make a good webmistress.

hello, I new to this but I saw on just jared that Angie’s brother James and Mad visited her today. Mad looked so cute. James is quiet the looker as well. He looked really hot behind the wheel of the car. Does anyone know if Brad’s Parents are there yet?

Have been so busy heading into the weekend preparing for my son’s 6th birthday party, I haven’t been able to visit for a while. As usual, I’ve missed out on a bit. Anyway, I hope you JP fans in the US all had a fun 4th of July weekend.
I can’t wait for the twins to arrive…as I’m sure the JPs and all the other fans are.
