More Angelina Jolie & Kids Photos

by Sherry on March 17th, 2008

There are more photos of Angelina Jolie, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh (plus whoever that is inside Angie’s belly, hee!) when they went to the store for a walk this past weekend, you must see them.

Shiloh appears to have been crying after falling down and hurting herself. Ah, that fun age where they constantly get scrapes and bumps!

(Thanks, Lucy!)

My goodness, Shiloh is indeed turning into a beauty. And her eye section is 100 % Brad.
The others look cute also, but haven´t changed so much.
    Are these two women nannies?

Its weird how Shiloh looks like a blond Angelina. And I think that is the first time I’ve ever seen Shiloh stand or walk on her own.

Maybe they don’t have the body guard because they are not in the big city? Or he is just not in the frame? It would be odd if he wasn’t with her though.
    Anyway, nice pix

If you go back and look at pics of AJ when she was little (in movies with her dad) she was also blond and looks just like Shi. I thought she looked like Brad, till I went and found old pics of AJ.
Sherry it would be neat to see baby or kid pics of AJ and Brad and then Shi, just to see the similarities.

My comment is awaiting moderation, so I will write again. Aubrey and Kim, I agree that there is more of Angelina in Shiloh than everybody thinks. But her eye section is absolutely Brad´s. It´s like a copy of his eye and eyebrow area. Amazing. He cannot deny she´s his child, ha!ha! Of all the kids she has changed the most, her hair is much longer, and she is really tall, almost as tall as her sister. Talking of Zahara, she´s wearing pink almost exclusively these days, so I guess she overrules Angelina these days as far as her own clothing is concerned! I´m not too into Angie´s flowing dresses; they make her look very eccentric somehow. They even brush the floor, yikes. I wish she´d dress more “young” and fresh, but you can´t debate over taste, as they say. I love Shiloh´s dress, though, and I like how they dress her in white a lot, because it really suits her. The boys also look dressed sharp! Well, this is all about how they dress, how superficial of me! But sometimes you just want to gossip without any deeper meaning, right?! A happy day to you all!!

These days I´m under moderation a lot! I really wonder which words trigger moderation. It´s frustrating. Well, just want to say everyone looks great and happy, what a treat these photos are!

    Lisa,

Apparently Billy was hired by Paramount to protect them during filming of Wanted. That’s finished now, so I guess he’s gone to another assignment.

Has anyone heard from Ligaya, is she well? It’s been a while since I saw her post.

    Thanks Sherry. Always appreciated.

I like it here because most people, here, know what is bs and what is not. Most are smarter and courteous and have their still have their say. It’s negativity that is absent here, and THAT is why; I appreciate Sherry so much. Sherry you deserve your kudos’. I appreciate you too. I guess I sometimes take you for granted. For that, I am sorry. You & this site is still the best..

They are all so cute. It looks like Pax will also be bigger than Mad. Z is adorable. Shi is a combination of Abgie & Brad, she got her daddy’s eyes & got her mommy’s lips. She will be one beautiful lady when she grows up. I’m glad Angie starts wearing other color of maternity dresses. I like the other one with purple taken on Sunday with Brad & the little girl in pink.God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

I love that the kids wear each others cloths. Shi has on Zee’s white dress that she first wore last year in New Orleans. It’s so cute that her little sister Shi is now wearing it. Then Pax has on a T-shirt that Maddox use to wears a few years ago. Mad was most stylish celebrity kid for wearing those Rock t-shirts. Zahara wore that shirt in Prague to school once also:-). Then Pax has on some cargo shorts that Mad wears. It’s so cute I wore my siblings clothes also.

I agree, I too think Shi is going to be tall. Her mom is 5′8″ and dad is 5′11″ so she is bound to be 5′10″ super model height. I also love how patient Angie is with her kids. Although, I suppose if you have nanny’s that isan’t so monumental. But Mad use to have meltdowns and she would just hold him while he had his tantrum. Which is so productive, she seems to have control over her kids. Some kids run in all directions while out. Her kids are well trained they follow behind Mom when out:-). Such great kids. Thanks Sherrie.

P.S. Zee is the cutest kid to me, but if they don’t lossen her hair she might have permanant hair loss on the sides. In one of those pictures it looks like he has loss of hair around the edges near the ear. I hope they address that hair loss before it becomes permanant. Anywho, well wishes to the Jolie-Pitts!!!

i can’t choice a kid!!!!! they are all so cute. but i love the minx look of Z.

my view (and it’s really a personal opinion, i judge nobody):

mad is the great boy, the gentle boy, helpful and protector with his brother/sisters but too with mom and dad. i seem to be a dreamer.

Pax is the wild, the noisy boy, an artist, an expressive boy, a comedian but too a sensitive and a loving little boy.

Z is the princess, the little minx, the capriciously, but too the loving, the leader, the energetic and the tender girl.

Shi seems to be the perfect little girl, nice, cuddly, mischievous but with a great temper: she knows what she wants!

They are so cute! is it just me or does Maddox look kinda like an Asian version of Joe Jonas when he was 16(Joe has a different look now but he use to have hair that like goes up)
Also My sis Alice said that shi look kinda like i did when i was her age(but i wasn’t as big) idk if i did but she is sooo cute!

The kids are adorable. I used to think that Shi didn’t look like Angie apart from her lips, but the more I look at these pics, the more I see how much she looks like Angie (in Angie’s baby pics that I’ve seen before). Thanks for the pics and angela, thanks for the link.

BlessBrangelina, you asked about Ligaya. I thought that she having some type of medical procedure, but last week she wrote a short note on one of the other stories, and it gave the impression that she was taking some type of course for six weeks and there was alot of homework. So I am kind of confused about Ligaya but miss her also and hope she is well.

Hello everyone. That pictures of the kids with their mommy are so precious specially when Shi tried to run away with the chips. She didn’t make it too far, her mommy & her nanny were right behind her. She is really the typical almost 2 years old. What a cutie. The kids have their own unique & individual traits. I’m sure Brad & Angie’s hands are full, just by looking at the pictures. They are well behaved kids.
Where is Lucy? I’m sure Ligaya is recuperating & maybe Lucy is also busy. I will be very busy too with some paperworks that I brought home to work in my home computer. Goodnight to all. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s Family.

Add my name to the kudos for Sherry - she’s a nonpareil!

Hi, BlessBrangelina, Mary Ann, Irma & everyone who kindly thought of me. Let me clear up the confusion - on the week before 2/22/08, I posted that I’d be offline for a while for a medical procedure. I even kidded that it wasn’t for liposuction, facelift/breast implants, or to correct a deviated septum. ;-) I completely recovered as expected a couple of weeks after the procedure, and I’m better than new.

Then immediately after recovery, I started a 6-week class. I posted this on the “Baby Getting Bigger” thread:

    Mar 11, 2008 at 10:34 pm

Hi, Mary Ann & all Pittwatchers!

This is my 2nd week of a 6-week intensive course, Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day with homework. And since I’m carpooling with my husband, we leave at 7am and come home 7pm. I’m exhausted, too pooped to pop, to pooped to post. I haven’t had this kind of schedule for years, and I’m not in shape for it.
I wanted to post on Angie’s op-ed, Brad’s movies, etc. but I haven’t had the time or energy. This is only the 3rd time in 2 weeks I’ve been able to visit Pittwatch. Don’t know when I can post again. In the meantime, I know you’ll keep strong with our admiration for all things Jolie-Pitt, especially Angelina, Brad, Maddox, Pax, Zahara & Shiloh and baby(ies).

P.S. I’m really sorry I’m missing all the lively discussions. :-(

Those were some really awesome shots. I loved looking at them. Know what surprised me the most? Seeing regular people walking by them on the sidewalk and comparing regular people to the size of Angelina. Angie is really small. She has such a commanding presence on screen and in interviews, but she is really very small!

Sherry, may I suggest another topic of discussion. Why do the Jolie-Pitts have the freedom to walk around the streets in New Orleans. What is the difference? When they left New York and went to Calif. we had very few pictures of the children.

    Mar 19, 2008 at 2:06 pm

Poor Deanna, lost her eye candy. :)

Great idea Mary Ann! I have to do some major housework because my husband is a music producer and we have some people coming over after dinner to work on a song and it looks like a toy store blew up in my living room, but I will make a note to get a post going this evening. Since there’s not a lot of constant photo opps right now, it’s good to have discussion posts.

Hello to brangelina fans. Well, the kids have unique personality in all different ways so I can’t really compare them. As I read all the different opinions there’s really no right or wrong. Gooooosh all the kids are so precious. the pictures are so nice and I agree they are well mannered they follow each other and listened to their mom just by looking at Angelina’s gesture to the kids. Mad always watch his sisters and brother. Pax is so handsome and mascular. Zee is so elegant and of course baby shi is so cute and pretty. Just wanted to know if Angelina is really going to have twins?

Hello everyone, there are some more pix of Angie and the kids in NOLA (esp. if you scroll down):

    http://thejjb.com/topic/238320/t/BRAD-ANGELINA-MEGA-POST-part-2.html?page=677

A few new photos in there, at least I have not seen them yet. More towards the bottom of that page. And I love Shiloh´s encounter with that other little boy. There are also a few photos where Angie looks and smiles directly at her daughter, and it´s the first time she comes across as being connected to her (on photos, that is; obviously we know nothing about their real life).

I hate to be seemingly joining the worriers here, but Shiloh does seem like a very unanimated (correct?) child, and even the one picture where everyone commented that she smiles, that hardly looks like a smile. More like a grimace. However, as I pointed out before, my own daughter would have come across the same at that age, if out and about and caught by photographers. Plus, I remember only last year when everyone rightfully pointed out how Zahara never smiles. And then she suddenly did, and has been seen smiling quite a bit since, and now everyone has forgotten about her previous sullen faces. So hopefully Shiloh is all right. I really hope she is.

What also bothers me (and I´m just voicing my opinion, please - no meltdowns! ) is how she seems to be pulling away from Angie after she fell, and when Angie is trying to comfort her. When my own two and a half year old falls, she will cry and want to be picked up, and really cuddle up to me, head resting on my shoulder, almost crawling into me. She will need close body contact to comfort her, and that´s the same I see everywhere else. It is bewildering to see how Shiloh seems to struggle to get away from Angie when Angie is trying to soothe her, don´t you think?

As for their lovely stroll in the sun, I kept thinking - aaaaah, how relaxing it must be to have two nannies in tow! It would make my own life so much easier, too, if I could fall back on a nanny (or two!) every now and then, and I´d probably be a better mother! With that I mean that I´d be more relaxed and less stressed out at the end of some days…….

Sophia, not to worry, *I’m* the Queen of Moderation (one time, 9 posts under moderation simultaneously)- just ask anybody who’s been here for a while.

This is just me imagining Angelina’s thinking while walking to/from the corner store with her four under-7 kids and her 2 nannies. “Thank the Goddess I have 2 nannies to help make this outing with the kids safe and possible. It’s terrible to have them cooped up in the house just because of the craziness by the paparazzis, overeager fans, and potential stalkers/kidnappers. I wish my mom was here, she helped me so much with Maddox - there weren’t as many paps then. I am just so thankful for my nannies, and that we have 6 eyes and 6 arms to keep the kids safe.” So no, I don’t any of the 3 ladies are relaxed like we are when we walk kids to the park or the corner store.

I believe it was Demi Moore who started the trend of 1 nanny per child; she & Bruce have 3 kids and they each had a nanny. Heidi Klum has continued that practice with a nanny for each kid (4 I think), even when her mom is part of the outing. Mia Farrow had nannies for her 14 kids when they were younger (but not 1 on 1). If somebody did research, we’d find that most Hollywood women actors/execs etc. have nannies for the simple reason that they can’t work while taking care of the kids - unless we think women shouldn’t have the choice of working AND being mothers too. Working mothers of all kinds have nannies, au pairs, helpers, babysitters, housekeepers. Sometimes they’re called Nana, aunt, cousin, older sister/brother, neighbor, childcare center.

Used to be only royalty & gentry, captains of industry, and the superwealthy class - including entertainers - had nannies. Just like the Mercedes Benz, Louis Vuitton, Christian Laboutin, and other luxury designer goods, the middle class embraced nannies too - after all, if a couple were both well-paid professionals, they could afford it.

Security of rich kids (Italy & the Philippines were notorious in the past) is a serious thing. I’m very glad the Jolie-Pitts have hired nannies & bodyguards to protect their precious four.

(I originally posted the above on 3/24/08 but it disappeared due to some computer glitch.)

About babies/toddlers pulling away from their moms/caretakers. I was so scared when the baby I was babysitting (I was 12 years old at the time) arched his back and almost flipped out of my arms. He’d been thrashing while I tried to rock him, and crying a furious storm. I had already checked his diapers, checked that a safety pin or other pointy thing wasn’t sticking him, gave him a bottle, but nothing was working. I even called my mom whose only advice was to keep rocking him. A long time later, he eventually fell asleep. i don’t know if it was colick or what. I had similar experiences with other babies I babysat, and with my own kids.

As for toddlers, young children, older children - it’s been my experience that when what I’ll diplomatically call “differences of opinion” happens between them and their parents, it’s not unusual for the kids to express their displeasure by pulling away, scowling, crying, shouting, running away, in general throwing a tantrum. That doesn’t mean that an outsider can conclude that the child(ren) are being abused by the parents. It’s possible, but a lot more investigation and evidence would have to happen first.

I agree about the pulling away. My oldest almost always wanted comfort, but my youngest gets really upset sometimes and when you try to comfort her, she’ll say “leave me a-yone!” and run away to hide in another room. But then a few minutes later, she’s ready for cuddles. Other times she wants the cuddling right away. It really depends - toddlers are VERY moody creatures, you never know what’s going to make them angry or offend them. I don’t think Shiloh struggling to get down means that she has any issues or makes her any different.

Maybe it was as simple as, yes I hurt my knee Mom, but I want to get back down with my sister and brothers and run!

    OMGoodness! Sophia

Out of all those pics that’s all you saw?? How about the fact that she managed to calm her down expectly in seconds? She had her go from crying to smiling to pulling faces at the paps.

And I guess Gwen Stefani’s son must actually hate his Mum too, as he actually pulled away and run away from her in NY recently. He’s also photographed pulling her hair and generally throwing a tantrum. So maybe their relationship is crap too!?

Terrible two’s??? It happens! If you have a child and it hasn’t happened to you then you are blessed.
