Nicole Kidman is Jealous of Angelina???
If these comments weren’t taken totally out of context and embellished by a media greedy for sales - Nicole seems a bit jealous of Angelina as she downplays Angelina’s works for charity and the United Nations:
The Australian actress - who is about to make her first trip to India as goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Fund for Women - claims the Tomb Raider star gets far too much recognition for her good deeds.
Nicole is quoted by Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper as saying: “It’s not like Angelina is any better than a nurse working in a hospital but she’s getting the publicity for her contribution.
“I have a friend who is a doctor and every year he works in Africa for two months for no money. So everyone is on the same playing field, whether you offer your services as the doctor or as Angelina does.”
Like Nicole, Angelina is also a United Nations goodwill ambassador.
I can’t imagine that Nicole meant those comments with the spin that the media put on it - what do you think?

I think nicole is right.
I mean wat Angelina does is good. But there are lots and lots and lots of people that do humanitarian works more than wat Angelina has done. Yet, we don’t know about them. They should also have this big publicity so people notice them and hopefully donate a lot of money to help them. No offense, but i think Angelina does little thing compare to any other people in the same field.

As far as I’m concerned Nicole Kidman can and should play housewife to her new husband. Maybe, try and give him a kid or something. What! She’s barely going abroad like to India and start crusading like Angelina! She’s sooooooo STUPID! Angelina has been at this for a long time, and plus she gives quite a bit of her own money for these people and charities. Nicole should just SHUT UP, and go and start her little new venture over in India. Let’s see how long she lasts! She definitely does NOT look like the type to go and help in those third world countries. She’s truly gotta be some kind of a JOKE! Get real Nicole, and stop your jealousy with Jolie. If she is truly committed to this type of work, then she will hang in there for years to come, NOT just send money. And, if she does, then she will DESERVE the recognition that Jolie gets. But, only if she continues her work for many years, like Jolie has done. SO, in the meantime, Nicole should just keep her MOUTH SHUT! Besides, she just got married, what happened? Does she not want to be with her new husband anymore? UNBELIEVABLE!!! These so called actresses, especially the BAD ones!!

angelina jolie is the obsession of paps and media, so everything she does, people will make it as the news.
the doctor or nurse friend of nicole is not as famous as angie, that’s why they don’t get their publicity for their contribution.
and is that publicity really matters?
i don’t think angie cares about it either.
she’s using the publicity to make people who don’t know about the issues to be aware. that’s what we call that she’s using her celebrity status for something good.
i still don’t get the reason behind those people who loves to slam others. why don’t they just mind their own business instead?

So if Nicole thinks Angelina should not receive press for her humanitarian work, why is Nicole talking about her work to the media. She is just another shade Jennifer Anniston.
If you are going to help, just do it and quit pitching. How come she is the one on the cover of a magazine talking about how she wants to give and not her doctor and nurse friends, how com she is not sharing the cover with them if she was sincere about them getting media coverage.
Angelina always give props to the field workers, she has always said they inspire her with their tireless dedication to caring for the displaced.
I don’t think Nicole wants to pick a fight with Angie, that is one fight she will never win.

Thank god!!!!!!!!! Angelina gets recognition for what she does and its pubulished everywhere and she is in the spotlight it gets other people to do the same, that has the means to do so. Thank god for her popularity and i hope nichole can do the same and for any docter or star i hope they do there best

And we all know Actors and Actresses get paid far too much for what they do. But that is the world we all live in. I don’t hear Kidman saying, “Please don’t give me a million give me 20.00 and hour”. Life is never balanced, so don’t judge.

I don’t understand why people are so eager to attack anyone who mention anything about Pitt-Jolie, that don’t refer to them in this God like Existence. This lady had an interview, and made a comment and because she didn’t kiss the ground that Angelina walks she is being talked about in such a horrible way. I think Nicole Kidman is a fantastic actress and in any interview in writing or in person this lady has always conducted herself well. The remarks made here about her is worse than anything she expressed in that small comment about Angelina Jolie.

I disagree Sherilynn! If nicole didn’t want any feedback, then she should of kept her mouth shut! BP & AJ are NOT God like figures, BUT they both give alot of their own money, time and love to these people that have nothing in most of your third world countries. Its not that she isn’t kissing the ground that BP & AJ walk on, its just that they are 2 internationally famous people. And, everything they do will get noticed by paparazzi, bottomline! Now, nicole mentioned this nurse and this doctor, that also give of their time, but see they are not internationally famous. Although, it truly is wonderful and totally appreciated that they help out when they can. Perhaps, nicole should introduce them to the world, and get them noticed. This would be a good thing, especially if she thinks that they are not getting enough recognition. Wouldn’t you say! Afterall, she’s famous, so why doesn’t she do something to get them noticed, instead of making that one little comment about how AJ gets all this recognition, and her doctor & nurse friend don’t. Get real here! AJ has been crusading in these third would countries for years, and because she is famous, everyone notices. This is why she is soooooooo totally admired. And, she goes au naturel over there, no make-up, no botox, no perfume, etc. She totally comes down to their culture, and their customs. Therefore, if nicole was going to say anything about this nurse & doctor, then she should of done just that, and NOT brought in AJ. Believe me, AJ has so totally done more than her share. She even parts with her money for these people, not to mention that she has saved the lives of those 2 beautiful children. In the future, nicole should really watch her words, when she is out speaking to the public. This is what has angered soooooooo many people, including me. Oh! and, I am SO NOT a Kidman fan. She does nothing for me on the screen either, just like Aniston. They are both boring, and at this point, I think that they are tooooo old now, and pretty soon your directors will start going for the younger actresses out there. In Hollywood, once you reach 35, then you start getting the Mommy roles, and sometimes the granny roles. So sorry to disappoint you! But, I had to say what I had to say. The truth is the truth!

Amazing jagres54! Very well put!! Notice that Angelina even got Brad more involved in current affairs throughout the world. I don’t thing he was that involved when he was with chinnifer, like he is now. That just goes to show you how BORING his life must of been being married to her. Have to admit that AJ is a much more exciting and spontaneous woman, and perhaps this is what mr. pitt wanted. He got tired of just making films, and going out to dinner with chinnifer. There certainly is more to life than just hanging out like that. Everyone needs to remember that she didn’t want to have kids, she is trying to become a famous actor (SHE SOOOOOO TOTALLY SUCKS AT ACTING! SHE IS TV MATERIAL ONLY), and it appears like mr. pitt got so bored and tired of living that kind of life. It seems like he wanted some excitement in his life, and BOY! did he ever get some excitement in his life. AJ will totally wear him out!! Good Luck mr. brad!

This whole discussion is silly. From anything I have ever read about Nicole K., she is a lovely person and I am sure this whole thing was blown out of proportion and misrepresented.
As for Angelina, I am sure that she and Brad would love it if the media in all of its variations would leave them out of things and just let them live their lives, but everyone knows they won’t. I believe they do what they do from the heart, including good deeds, family life and just living their lives. They didn’t ask for all of this publicity and from what I can tell they are just humble, every day people trying to live their lives.

I think Nicole is desperately trying to attract attention. Since she and tom got divorce, people lost interest in her. Whatever she does is not noticed or nobody cares even her being UN Ambassador, No paparazzi will follow her. This is just pure bitterness and jealousy. AJ as many already mentioned is just using her star attraction to be aware of the poverty she witnessed at the third world which is so admirable and I believe comes from the bottom of her heart. So just shut up Nicole, AJ is no comparison to you.
