An artist bought a plain doll, removed the original factory painted makeup and redid it himself to make it look like an Angelina Jolie doll.

Some of Germany’s media sources have reported that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and all six Jolie-Pitt kids have arrived in Berlin, Germany. They actually managed to slip out of France and arrive in Germany yesterday without any crazy paparazzi attention.
The family is staying in Berlin for the next three months because Brad will soon start filming Inglorious Bastards. You can see the GORGEOUS home they’re renting here. Wow!
I love that hot on the heels of speculation that Brad and Angie have split up and are hardly even living together anymore, the entire family packs up and moves to a new location. Hello? I highly doubt that Angelina would have left her cozy retreat in France to go to Berlin with a man she was no longer involved with. Obviously, our favorite celebrity couple is still going strong.
I’m still hoping that Brad Pitt will join Angelina Jolie on the red carpet for the October 4th premiere of Changeling. I believe that shooting for Inglorious Bastards starts after the premiere, though I can’t claim to be 100% sure about that - I do recall reading something about an October 15th start date. If that’s the case, then Brad would definitely be able to hit the red carpet with Angelina. Here’s hoping, although at least we know we can count on seeing one of them at the premiere!
Meanwhile, there are more photos of Brad Pitt in his tacky yellow suit over here. Apparently the commercial he is filming is a Japanese cell phone commercial. I love Brad’s ads, they’re always a little on the wacky side.
Okay, so he’s not actually playing Big Bird, but Brad Pitt is looking pretty yellow in these pictures that got posted at JJB! I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, but apparently he was doing a commercial shoot in Paris. I’m really wondering what the heck the advertisement is if they would take someone as sexy as Brad Pitt and dress him like that!

And speaking of Brad Pitt being sexy, I found this advertisement for a watch featuring his very fine face. I hadn’t seen it before so I’m wondering if it’s new. Anyone recognize it from an old campaign?

A Pittwatch reader linked to this great video showing the incredible affection between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at various events. The shots are beautiful and the song is great too. These two definitely look solid.
Meanwhile, not too much longer until Angelina Jolie’s premiere of Changeling, and I think there’s probably a good chance that Brad will accompany Angie on the red carpet - definitely more chance than there was of Angie being on the Burn After Reading red carpet!

Several people have been commenting or emailing me, concerned about the rumors that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split up. People have been asking why I haven’t posted about it. Well, because if I posted every time someone said their relationship was over, every week there would be at least one “oh my god, they broke up!” post followed by a “whew, no, they’re still together” post. These rumors circulate on a near-constant basis. If you look at any tabloid magazine, one week they’re saying Brad and Angie are finished, the next week they’re saying Brad and Angie are getting married, and the week after that they’re saying that they’ve just adopted ten new kids. And then the cycle continues.
However, apparently the concern is coming from the fact that Perez Hilton reported it. Except he didn’t really - he just acknowledged that there was a strong rumor going around. And actually, it appears that the rumor of Brad and Angelina splitting came from the National Enquirer. That tabloid trash isn’t even good enough to line your bird cage, let alone good enough to believe.
And in any case, Perez then reported that Angelina Jolie’s rep has denied the break-up rumors, calling them completely untrue.
I think I know why this is so persistent right now - we haven’t seen Angelina in months, not since Cannes. People have seen Brad on the red carpet without her at his side, something that is highly unusual. But these people are forgetting that the woman gave birth to twins, is breastfeeding, and likely completely exhausted. Then again, people are also saying that Brad looks unhappy lately. I disagree. I think he looks just like any other parent of young children. I looked like that, my husband looked like that, our friends all looked like that during the first months when no one is sleeping. The man is TIRED. It happens, it’s part of it.
But when you combine Angelina’s isolation in France, Brad’s solo red carpets, and his half-asleep expressions, it’s easy to see how tabloids would cash in on it all and speculate heavily.
Don’t believe the rumors just because they’re there. Is this couple bullet-proof? Of course not, any relationship can end. However, as far as strong Hollywood couples go, I’d say that these two are among the strongest, and unless a reputable source says that it’s ended, I’m going to carry on without worrying about it!
Lately, it seems to me like Brad Pitt just keeps doing amazing things. His latest work? He donated $100,000 in a pledge to fight back against California’s Proposition 8. The proposition seeks to ban gay marriage and Brad doesn’t agree with that:
“Because no one has the right to deny another their life even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another, and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8.”
Meanwhile, Chad Griffin, who is the political strength behind the rally to get other powerful celebrities to throw some weight against the proposition, made a statement where he said:
“It is our hope that others in the entertainment industry will step up and match Brad Pitt’s heroic commitment to quality and defeating Prop. 8. This isn’t a special interest issue - this measure affects every business and every family. With California’s budget and the national economy in chaos, the last thing we need is an unnecessary measure that threatens health benefits and protections for children.”
It seems like every day I am more and more proud to be a fan. Way to go, Brad!

Brent Stirton is a name you may not know, but he’s a professional photographer affiliated with Getty Images and he was the one who went to Namibia to shoot the photos of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.
Neither People nor Getty credited the photographer behind the Jolie-Pitt twins’ photos so no one is 100% sure who shot the spread, but many people are pretty well convinced it was Stirton again. He was asked directly in this video interview if it was his work and he very cleverly sidestepped the question - but if you ask me he was admitting to it without saying the actual words.
They also asked him his thoughts on the kind of money these sorts of magazine exclusives raise for good causes, such as the incredible charity donations Brad and Angelina make from the photos, especially compared to other work Stirton does. He seemed very kind, referring to Angelina Jolie as being one of the “few honorable people” in the celebrity world who has helped so many people in such a direct way.

PittWatch folks have been referring to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a power couple for ages, but now it’s official. Even the Guinness Book of World Records has declared that our favorite celebrity couple as the “Most Powerful Actor and Actress in Hollywood“.
It’s great to be a really good actor, but to also be considered a powerful actor is a whole other level. Good for them!
According to USA Today, Burn After Reading shot to the top of the box office, and that wasn’t even counting today’s earnings. Just from Friday and Saturday night’s play times in theaters, the Coen brothers movie pulled in $19.4 million, which was $3 million more than was originally expected.
I guess people really wanted to see Brad Pitt dancing!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated approximately $2 million to set up a medical center in Ethiopia. The center will help a great deal of people who need medical attention, including children who are dealing with HIV, AIDS, and tuberculosis, three major concerns in Ethiopia.
Previously, Brad and Angelina established the Maddox Chivan Children’s Center in Cambodia, and they’re naming the new center after another one of the Jolie-Pitt kids. The medical center in Ethiopia is to be named after Zahara Jolie-Pitt, who was born in the country.
Brad has already said he hopes Zahara will have an interest in the center later in life: “It is our hope when Zahara is older, she will take responsibility of the clinic and continue its mission.” Some people have voiced the opinion that it’s strange or unfair to expect that Zahara will want anything to do with the clinic just because her parents want her to. To that, I can only be confused. He didn’t say that they have opened it with the strict intention that she MUST take it over when she grows up - he said he HOPES she will want to be responsible for it. And why not? Brad and Angelina do so much to help other people, it’s certainly logical that they would hope that all of their children will grow up to also reach out to those in need. And both of them are perfect examples that their kids can be whatever they want to be, career-wise, and still have the time, energy, and desire to do charity work.
