Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt - Adoption Official
Here’s some exciting news from TMZ.com - Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt has officially been adopted. Of course, Angelina Jolie adopted him last year, but it had to be made official in both countries. It was approved in Vietnam, where Pax was first born, but it still needed to be approved back in the U.S. Yesterday, they went to L.A. County Children’s Court in Monterey Park, California. A judge finalized everything and now it’s official.
Congratulations to the entire Jolie-Pitt family on Pax’s formal adoption being complete!

That’s so good. The pictures of the double date night show what its like for Brad and Angelina - they looked so sick of the paps, but they can’t show it as the pictures will come back to haunt them. So sad to nearly always be on show.

This may sound dumb, but since Angie had to adopt him in Vietnam as a single parent does it mean that when she came here, both she and Brad applied to formally adopt him and now it all gone through? Just need some clarification. Sounds great though!!

lemon227, it is quite common for a family to readopt in the US after a foreign adoption. Brad and Angelina went through that process and they both are now Pax’s legal parents.

Just to clarify…the court is in Monterey Park, not Monterey. Monterey is a gorgeous town south of San Francisco, Monterey Park is in Los Angeles County…two very different locations!

Congratulations Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt. They must be overwhelmed with happiness.The Jolie-Pitts are going to get their soccer team before they know it.If Ange is pregnant with twins,they only need just a few more children and they will have the team they have both been desperate to have.I am so happy for the Jolie-Pitts.
