Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie look like old fashioned Hollywood royalty on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Los Angeles on Monday evening.
Brad is looking very sexy in a nice tuxedo (even with the mustache!) and Angelina is drop-dead gorgeous in a simple, long black strapless gown with her hair pulled off her face and minimal makeup.

Love them. Angie looks so happy. I watch the live feed. It was like being there. Looking forward to the pics and video tomorrow. “Jesse James” is on HBO. They probably showed it due to Brad’s premiere.
Angie’s skin is flawless. They look so good together. They are the right height for each other. Brad’s parents were there and stayed with Angie as she moved about the red carpet. The carpet was really gray.
There were a lot of celebs there. Angie was greeting all. Her godmother, J. Bisset was there. Angie gave her a hug. Read on JJB that Courtney Cox was there also.
Jane and William looked very good. They have such a good relationship.
Wow, they both looked great. Yes a little tired but I don’t blame them. They just had twins. Thanks Sherry.
Thanks for the link, Tyonna. I love that pic where she’s peeking like a kitten around Brad’s photo. They’ve got not filming at the same time down. Now they have to make sure they don’t have to do promotion and premieres at the same time. I think it just about killed them this time around along with X’ and the media’s antics.
Tyonna, thanks for linking to that pic. I just looked it at it, and I love it, too! It’s like Angie is thinking, “That’s my sweetie!”
Anyway, I think they look fantastic for having six kids, including twins just under five months old (Knox and Viv will turn 5 months old on Friday)! I know they have help and everything, but still!
I’m also glad that Brad’s parents seem to support their son by going to his premires and such whenver possible.
Obviously Sherry and the many others who predicited Shiloh wouldn’t be on the RC were right. As weird as it may sound, though, I’m actually kind of glad about it! The RC really isn’t the right place for a 2 1/2 year old, especially when the movie being premired isn’t even a kid-friendly one.
Shi doesn’t seem to be scared of the paps the way Zee Zee is (she usually just smiles and waves, whereas Zee Zee usually looks obviously scared and/or upset), but I still think the RC would have been too overwhelming for her.
Plus, it seems to have been later in the evening, like most premires, and a toddler belongs in only one place at that time: In bed!
I also know that the press (well, the tabs anyway. I’d be surprised if the more legimite media did so), as well as the h8ters, would have had a field day if Shi had made an appearence on the RC.
Therefore, I’m glad Angie and Brad had the sense to leave her home.
Ligaya- While I DO think this round of promotions, premires, etc. HAS worn them out, I don’t think they’re losing too much sleep over JA’s and the media’s comments. Angie has said they don’t pay attention to what is written in the tabs, and while JA’s interview wasn’t in a tab, I just have a gut feeling that they aren’t letting that affect them too much, same with the recent article about Angie in the NY Times.
I would actually be surprised if Angie was offended by JA calling her comments “uncool”. I think she and Brad pretty much take a “Let them think what they think!” attitude to the tabs, and a “Let her have her feelings,” attitude toward JA.
Oh, and I also want to add that Angie doesn’t seem like the type of person who’s easily bothered by what others think of her.
Wonderful dress! That black dress really suited Angie very well. And Brad was handsome as ever! What a big surprise for me was to see his parents on the red carpet too. They havent´t been seen publicly very often but this time they chose to accompany Brad and Angie. Those photos on GettyImage were absolutely beautiful. Those photos prove at least one rumor not true. Jane and Angie seem to get along just wonderfully. There isn´t any tension between those two women. They smile and laugh together! So now all those rumors about their bad feelings for one another can be finally be put at rest. Jane is a mother figure to Angie since her own mum Marcheline died in Jan 2007. Lovely to see those four – Bill, Jane, Brad and Angie – side by side. The children must have been thrilled to see Grammy and Papa (like they call Jane and Bill). I can´t wait to see more pictures! God bless this family!
I,too can’t wait to see all of them on the red/gray carpet. I think CCOBB will be a big hit for the holidays.

I love Angie’s simple gown yet so elegant, she carry herself very dignified, even with minimal makeup & jewelries. She & Brad are perfect together. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.
A beautiful couple with grace and dignity. I hope Brad is nominated for an Oscar. He has an amazing body of work that has been recognized by his fans and peers but over looked by the Oscar committee. I was also surprised that neither he nor Angelina has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. ????????????????

You gotta love Angie’s big smile! She radiates happiness. Brad does look tired (or maybe he’s just laid back, smiling calmly and patiently through a long evening.)
He tends to be more animated when it’s Angie’s film premieres, and she is more animated at his. Probably due to the huge responsibility resting on their shoulders at their own premiers. They can enjoy the evening fully when their main job is to just be there to support the other.

About the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF STARS (not the indented hands/feet at Grauman’s Chinese Theater), from what I remember it’s pretty simple – it’s up to us fans to come up with the money and fulfill any other eligibility requirements. The organization and eligibility rules can be googled.
They are absolutely a gorgeous couple. Not only physically but also due to their contributions (monetarily and participation) to their causes. Lori, I agree with you. Brad seems to be more laid back since the focus is on him, so Angie can be more gregarious and I don’t think he looks tired at all.

Brad and Angie are just so beautiful togather they can do no wrong when it comes to beauty and fashion. Love the Family thing, I guess Angie was not kidding when she says that the older you get you start to see your family in you, because she looks like her mother more and more and Brad is looking like his dad too,the family is lovley. Angelina is always considerate, and it showed in her choice of dress. Elegant and sophisticated, it could have been more eye-popping if she had chosen. But she respected that it was Cate’s and Tilda’s time to shine (unlike a wannabe who preened as if it was her time at another premiere).
I was a little upset though that Taraji P. Henson, a wonderful actress who plays a central role as Benjamin’s adoptive mother, wasn’t given the attention and love she deserved – in one report, she wasn’t even listed as part of the cast! Sanaa Lathan is a fantastic actress (sucks as an action star) and rocked this seafoam goddess gown, but honey, Taraji is the star of CCBB – take some photos of Taraji! Don’t know if the problem was Taraji’s publicist, the production publicist, what – but Taraji, Angie, and Brad got close, I think if they had known they would have done something about it.

Jolie, Pitt give $100K to kids’ charity

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (UPI) — Hollywood celebrity couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s foundation has donated $100,000 to the Global Action for Children, the charity said.
“With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world,” the organization’s executive director, Jennifer Delaney, said in a statement. “Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child.”
Jolie and Pitt are the parents of six children, three of whom were adopted from various countries.
Added PerezHilton: Santa Angelina Jolie and Poppa Brad Pitt ’s organization, The Jolie-Pitt Foundation, has just given a second donation to Global Action for Children.
The org must be doing something right, as they’re the only charity to receive a second grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation!
As we mentioned in August, Global Action for Children is “a nonpartisan, results-oriented coalition dedicated to advocating for orphans and highly vulnerable children in the developing world. GAC works to increase funding and ensure it is spent effectively so all children have the health care, education, food, and protection they need to grow up safe and healthy.”
GAC just received a $100,000 end-of-year-grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation to help support their efforts.
The Executive Director for Global Action for Children stated “GAC is honored to receive a second grant from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, and we greatly appreciate the Jolie-Pitt Family’s continued commitment to and support of our work.
“With the holiday season upon us, we hope the generous gift from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation inspires others to give and focus on assisting orphans and highly vulnerable children around the world. Each and every donation can truly make a difference in the life of a child.”

Anyway, this is one of the few instances where I don’t mind the fact that they mentioned that three of the kids are adopted.
For one thing, they worded it very well, saying saying that three of their kids are adopted from various countries (rather than just saying three of them are adopted. That sounds more like dividing the kids to me). Also, the article was about their charity and humatarian work, which is certainly connected with their adoptions.
All of that said, I forgot to mention last night that, while I LOVE Angie’s outfit, all I can think of when I look at her earrings is Knox and Viv trying to pull them!
Angie is never known to be so particular with fashion, to a point of dressing up for the sake of outshining other celebrities or with the intention of impressing people. I think she chooses her clothes more on COMFORT than style, although it also matters to her to look good as part of her being a celebrity. However, her personality is different. from the rest. She rather not wear something she doesn’t like even though how beautiful the dress is to others if she’s not at ease with it. Comfort over style is her priority. When she’s comfortable, her confidence shows it.
Actually, i really like her sense of style and fashion. Very simple but elegant. Polished looking. She may not be known as risk-taker as to fashion but she handles every dress very well every time. She rarely deviates from her classic style because she knows that’s what works for her. As the saying goes, “IF IT AIN’T BROKE, WHY FIX IT.”
She’s a “minimalist” type of a person. She is a believer of “Less is More”. She sees to it that her accessories and make-up will not make her look like a Christmas Tree. She makes sure her outfit enhances her genetically-blessed features and not outshine them. That’s classy and sophisticated.

just wanted to ask. their both wearing rings. is it identical rings? is it “the ring”? or just for fashion ring? hahaha! just curious! because i still see angie wearing the same ring in Gran Torino, or i’m just imagining things, or it’s not the same ring. i saw the ring first on the LA premiere of brad’s movie and in the link Tyonna gave, the 11 pic, see the ring.

I know that she just had to be at the world premiere and I believe that Brad probably gave her some recognition or I hope that he will help the light to shine in her direction during the time of this movie only to help hollywood SEE her and other actresses of color more often. I hope that Taraji does a J Lo and walks right up to Ms Angie and greets her, then I would hope that the shows like E.T or Access or whomever would ask her a question for all to see! Phew Obama has turned some lights on but hollywood is still in the 40’s and 50’s with parity and name rec for every time the world sees a Lindsey Lohan or Anne Hathaway the world is spared an opportunity to know who Meagan Goode or Nia Long or many many more actresses are
