Photos of Jolie-Pitt family don’t come cheap

LondonNet has reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will allegedly get about $2 million US for photographs of their newly adopted son Pax.
Radar magazine has stated that Angelina agreed to sell some photos to People magazine for somewhere between 1.75 million and 2 million.
A spokesperson at People says that number is “absurd” but also said:
“We don’t comment on the specifics on any negotiations.”
As we all know, they also allegedly earned over $4 million for photos of them with Shiloh shortly after she was born, and they donated the funds to an undisclosed charity. I’m sure whatever they make for the photos of Pax will be used in the same way.

I’m glad that Ange and Brad are doing this, fighting back for a good cause, I like the idea, they invade their privacy so there… all these paps photos will be worthless.. I’m sure she will be donating the money to the orphanage…
I am sure the give the money to charity.
I’m sure they are going to give the money to the orphanage that took care of Pax. That’s how they will show their appreciation. Don’t you think?

If they give this 2 mil to that orphanage, the director will be buying a house in the US. I hope they don’t give any of the organizations in VN that much. The director is already fat enough. Although I really want the children to be taken care of, I don’t really trust state organized Vietnamese charities. The director said on VNexpress.net that he will use part of the money to build a swimming pool. It may seem perfectly fine here in the US to build the pool in an orphanage, but in VN where there are children begging on every street, it’s just plain ridiculous.
Speaking from a Vietnamese pov.
C– It doesn’t matter how much Jolie-Pitt foundation gives to VN — I hope that it will be used for a good cause… there are so many corruption going on around the world.. as long as any one who gives with the intent of funds being used in a right manner then they can wash their hands clean… I am sure there are alot of funds being donated and being used for other things.
Checkers: I too have almost the same attitude. I say almost because as a Vietnamese, I know the depth of corruption well. I agree that corruption is every where, even here in our own US backyard and am aware that help in what little amount is better than none. Still, I hope B&A do not give 2 millions to one organization there and also not at once. I trust that Angelina’s experience with the Cambodian will guide her in dealing with the Vietnameses. She’s smart.
