Pitt Watch
I want to take a minute to address my policies for commenting on PittWatch. I do not want to censor PittWatch, but I don’t want to see it become a bash-fest here either. I will not allow personal attacks on our members, and nor do I have the time or desire to edit comments, so if there is a personal attack in there, the whole comment will be gone. I believe healthy debate is a good thing, opposing viewpoints are more than welcome, as long as they are an actual viewpoint. If you feel the need to say you don’t like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie, take the time to say why, in an intelligible manner, and we will be happy to have you join our conversations. That said, if you see a nasty comment get through that is unusual for PittWatch, please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email and let me know!
Now, let’s go back to loving Brad and Angelina!!!

Thank you for this change of direction.
Both Angelina and Brad have sowed their wild oats (which of us has not???), and they seem to want to do some positive things with their lives together. It is clear that Angelina Jolie is a very intelligent and complex woman, undoubtedly far more of both than the former Mrs. Pitt, which makes her a far more interesting person — with more than shopping and hanging out with her hairdresser on her mind. Why wouldn’t someone with multiple interests (design, architecture, travel, family and children, acting in meaningful projects, etc.) like Brad Pitt want to spend his life with someone who more appreciates and reflects his desire to live a fully realized, deeper and more interesting life?
I think they have rough waters ahead, but personally I find them FAR more interesting than just about anyone on the Hollywood scene today, and I wish them the commitment, the luck and the love they will need to hold it all together.

You know Susan, something in the air of late makes me agree that rough waters are definitely ahead for the couple.
As much as I know Evangeline to be someone who normally shines on what anyone has to say about her, I can’t help wonder if she’s feeling more than she would ever let on. I think anyone would experience anger, hurt etc when you hear people speak about your loved ones the way not only Michael Douglas did, but a few more this week. It would appear that a surge of ugliness begin against them. Believe it or not, Michael Douglas is being hailed some kind of freak hero for “his honesty” (I now want to throw up).
Anyway, since some people are so bound and determined to believe the worst about them there’s nothing much they can do but continue as they have, and that’s being a family. I really hope they stay strong, keep on the path that brought them together, and stay true to who they are individually and as a couple.
In closing, I hope they also continue to say nothing. I really think that’s whats killing their detractors more than anything.
