Possible new movie on the horizon for Angelina Jolie
As much as we may love Angelina Jolie as a human right ambassador and as a mother, as fans we have to admit to being a little selfish - sometimes we just want to know there’s a new movie role in the future for our favorite actress! Well, here’s a little good news for people who want more!
Apparently, Angie is in contact with Melissa Hawach, a Canadian mother who “stole back” her abducted children from their father who had taken them to Australia. Our leading lady is hoping to buy film rights to the story and also wants to portray the mother.
As a mother herself, I bet Angelina can really sink her teeth into this role!

Out of all the Hollywood types, Jolie is the true star. I think she has turned her life around in an amazing and inspirational way. Maybe the rest of Hollywood can learn from her.

This is interesting. By Angie’s production company do they mean Brad’s Plan B because she does not have a production company. Plan B is producing AMH and co-producing AtlasS.

UNICEF ambassador Angelina Jolie has expressed interest in playing embattled mum Melissa Hawach in a movie version of her mission to snatch back her abducted children from their estranged Australian father.
The Hollywood superstar who has made a name offscreen for her humanitarian work, yesterday expressed her interest in buying the film rights to Canadian Mrs Hawach’s story.
Mrs Hawach was reunited with her children, Hannah and Cedar, after hiring two former Australian and New Zealand special forces soldiers to steal them
back from her ex-husband, Joseph last year.
Jolie’s representative called Mrs Hawach’s Sydney agent Sean Anderson yesterday to pitch the actor for the part.
The agent said a spokesman for Jolie made the bid in a phone call and was expecting further details of Jolie’s interest in an email from her
production company overnight.
“She has shown interest in playing Melissa,” Mr Anderson said, adding that five major studios had already bid on the harrowing tale, including 20th
Century Fox.
“For someone with Angelina’s profile to be keen, it’s obviously very flattering,” he said.

When she was interviewed by James Lipton in the Actors Studio, she said something about producing a short story about taking different pictures all over the world at the same time and I forgot what the title was. But this was before she and Brad were more intimate. We just have to wait but I think, if this is a full length movie, it is probably under Plan B. Brad and Angie are very careful and clever when it comes to signing contracts business or charity donations. Remember they bought the New Orleans house under a company called “Mondo Bongo” (which happens to be the title song of the M/M Smith first dance).
