Saturday video: Angelina Jolie “I Am Who I Am”

Since today is Saturday and I have a serious date with my kids and a swimming pool out on my deck, I thought it would be the perfect time to share my current favorite Angelina Jolie video done by a fan. I can’t even remember what the heck I was looking for, but somehow I came across this one with photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and the song that plays is so perfect. It’s called “I Am Who I Am”.
I had never heard the song before but it’s so fitting of the attitude that Angelina seems to have. She always embodies that whole sentiment of “look, this is me and you can take it or leave it but I won’t change it”, and she is completely unapologetic about it. Everyone should be that way - loud and proud of who you are.

Someone asked me for a new poll question over in the sidebar. Yeah, that’s a good idea since that question has been there for almost a year, sorry about that. I’m a lurker 99.5% of the time here and that will probably remain that way infinity, but I just wanted to say that I’m glad that you’ve not let anyone BUT YOU dictate/set the tone of this blog. It’s reliable, consistant, and informative, and there’s even room for friendly debate w/o it turning into a war, and without alienating. I enjoyed coming here since Christina started it, and I’m happy it’s continued to grow and be a positive place for fans of Brad Pitt and his family to gather.

Indeed, the song is very Angie. She is who she is. It’s not enough that you love her for what she is. You also have to love her for what she’s not. Take or accept her assets and flaws.

I believe this song is by Lara Fabian, she’s a great singer, have you ever heard of Adagio she sang it in English and Italian.
I also think this fan video was created by Missouri fan, she’s one of the most loyal fan of Angie, she blogs at JJ.
By the way I love your site, I mostly lurk at your site and JJ’s.
Thank You so much for the video I loved it. Angelina is a survivor and can stand alone and be proud of where she’s been and has accomplished. Brad really completes her and I’ve never seen her happier. This is one woman who isn’t affraid to try new things or be different from fear of what others say.

I just caught up on the pap news, and the latest incident with the paparazzi is very disturbing. I thought France was a better choice than America for the birth, because I had a mistaken impression that the French dealt more severely with invasions of privacy. Not so much! I guess Africa was a better choice. Maybe next time Brad and Angie–if they have more birth kids–had better try Antarctica. Either that or the space station!

It talks about the loss of decency in reporting and points directly to the article this past week in US Magazine. It also gave a history of the animosity between Brad and US Magazine and why they always print negative stuff. He had them kicked out of a press junket for Troy and this was before the infamous beach photos in Africa with Angelina. This explains quite a bit and why they should never be trusted.

mary, thanks for that article. it was brief but to the point. i just heard about that incident with obama and the prayer wall; that was quite distasteful … not even his personal thoughts to god can be kept private. that newspaper who published his prayer is just downright unscrupulous.

Actually they did a study recently and apparently millionaires or maybe it was billionaires, usually marry brunettes (by the vast majority.)
Also saw a study that showed that most men claimed that their ideal woman had brown wavy hair…
Perhaps blondes are no longer so in ????

Miraval is not a private property there is no barrier all around it.

Now, 1000 acres of which only 75 acres are devoted to vineyards leaves you 925 acres for other users include some housing, barns etc for the winery. The bulk of Chateau Miraval is WOODLANDS.
YOu may also recall that there was an article not long after the JP’s rented the place where the hunters said that they hoped they would be allowed into the woodland to hunt game during the season. I’m sure of course they will be because the hunting seasons is in the fall and the JP’s would already be back at work. Now I don’t know whether Chateau Miraval has any fences or not but really, why would the hunters say that they hoped to be able hunt there if it weren’t fenced off?
Several years ago, I visited France with friends and was taken to a lovely hunting lodge in France. The lodge was surrounded by woodlands which were private property and it was fenced off. The owner made most of his money during the hunting season when he licensed people to come to his property to hunt for wild boar, deer and other game and of course, stay on his property (we were there off season). To get to the lodge, you’d have to walk through acres of woodlands.
It seems that the pap KNEW that he was on Chateau Miraval land and not public land so he’s just a lying scum bag and in deed, what would you expect of a pap who has once been charged with stalking another celebrity?
Looking at Chateau Miraval’s website, it seems to me that it does not do door sales and sells only to known distributors or visitors by appointment. This means people like you and I can’t just walk into the winery and ask to sample their wines and buy a dozen bottles or so to take home.
This is the way with most prestigious wineries. AGain, during this visit to France with friends, our friends got appointments for us to go to some prestigious wineries. For these highly prestigious wineries, it’s not exactly like doing a tour of the Napa or the Hunter Valleys.
Angelina is the Queen of beauty. I’ll never admire another the way i admire her..

My husband and I went to see Wanted last weekend. He loved it which I was happy for because we don’t go to the movies very often. Anyway, the first time Angelina appeared on the screen up close I was like shocked. Now you have to understand she of course has a great deal of makeup on for the movie. She is a beautiful woman, but I think the Angelina that appears everyday is more beautiful than madeup for the movies. Hope I am making my thoughts clear on this, the natural Angelina is stunning. The love between these two is unbelievable.

God, I’m almost speechless! This video is dinamite! It describes her sooo, soooo well! In terms of who is angelina jolie, it is the perfect song. Look at the picture at 1:48 - 1:49. It fits perfectly with the lyrics. I’m not sure, but the voice seems, indeed, to be lara fabian’s. And that woman has a voice…it goes very deep and makes me cry every time I hear any of her songs:p the best voice after celine dion.

I was watching Larry King the other day,it was about the war between Celebrities and paparazi.Paps were waiting outside a restaurant for celebrities.One of them said people who wanted publicity usually turn up at certain restaurants or parties.Brad and Angelina don’t go to these places.We see them doing their humanitarian work,promoting their movies,travelling or picking up their kids from school.They dont go to these parties or restaurants like the people I saw on LK.
If Brad and Angelina wanted publicity they will turn up at any of these places.Angelina hasn’t been seen for two months if not for the invasion of their privacy we wouldn’t have seen her at all.Brad and Angelina’s relationship doesn’t need publicity for us to know they are commited to each other.I was trying to come up with a number of days we have seen them away from each other and I am strungling to come up with 20days this year so far.Thats very impressive.If thats not commitment to each other and family then I dont know what is.
This has helped them face everything thrown at them together.United you stand divided you fall.We see more photos of them together than with previous partners.As for those who are hoping or thinking that rumours or the paps fiasco will Affect the way they feel about each other, you need to watch and learn.These two are fighters they’ll stand up for what they believe in and as Angelina has said so many times they believe in each other and their family.they stick together like glue.This is not about Going out with someone they are a family
Anyway the most adorable pictures were of Jane Pitt at Miraval.The ones were she picks up a chair so that she can sit right next to Angelina.she came out of the house first so she could have picked any chair around the table.Its really nice to see how close and comfortable they are.It was good to see Jane very attentive to her adopted grandkids as well.People wanted us to believe that she preferred Shiloh.Infact I think, thats the reason some people are gnashing their teeth,they so wanted people to believe that Jane didn’t like Angelina,Maddox,Pax and Zahara now pictures show a very comfortable and relaxed grandma having a wonderful time with family.Good to see the Pitt clan coming to celebrate and support Angelina and Brad.

There are a lot of different factors to Angelina-phobia. I’m not sure which factors are stronger. Over a year ago, I read in an article that people who watch tv shows regularly begin to identify with the characters, they believe the character is the same as the actor, and truly believe that they – the viewer – have a personal friendship with the actors. Barbara Feltus (Becker, Boris Becker’s ex-wife) was interviewed at Udo Walz’ (star coiffeur) wedding, and when asked where her boyfriend Arne Quinze was, she answered that he’s currently in the Provence…babysitting….6 children. It came like that, piece by piece, and she had a smirk. Hmm. Supposedly Brad bought some of his works (he’s an artist and furniture designer) in the past. Wonder if they’re friends.

Well, this is a great video with a beautiful song. Angie is a striking beauty and the love between her and Brad is amazing in these photos. You can see it and you can feel it. They were born for each other!
Mary Ann, we have not seen Wanted yet as the premiere has been delayed until early August here in Vietnam. Hopefully we can go and see it this weekend. I agree with you that Angie looks best when she is with minimal makeup. Her makeup in Wanted seems a bit heavy, probably because of the character that she played. She looked great in Mr and Mrs Smith.

I don’t remember reports either in the legit or tab media of any Jolie-Pitt kid being baptized. Does anyone? If I remember correctly, when Angelina was asked if she believed there was a god, she said she hoped so for the people who believed in that. I think Angelina is spiritual and an atheist.
Angelina was scary in her first entrance in WANTED, wasn’t she? Black raccoon eyes, tough demeanor, hardened exterior. She established her character immediately as a veteran, cold-blooded killer, no nonsense and definitely IN CHARGE. Her eye makeup softenend a little later, and I thought she looked quite soft and beautiful in the scene where she tells Wesley what happened to her father.
