Saturday’s Silly Tabloid – Angelina Jolie is pregnant again

I think that this week’s silly tabloid headline is even more hilarious than last week’s was. This time around, In Touch (out of touch is more like it!) is claiming that Angelina Jolie is pregnant again, so soon after giving birth to her twins.
Granted, it’s not impossible. Unlikely, but not impossible. Just ask Britney Spears who has two sons very close in age, born within the year. But it’s still very unlikely. And really, if I didn’t find it such a laughable claim I would be offended on Angelina’s behalf because although they state the news comes from “a friend”, a large part of the reason they’re saying she’s pregnant is because she has a so-called “baby bump”.
Really. My goodness, what must it be like to be a female celebrity where everyone constantly stares at your midsection, looking for the slightest hint of a bulge so that the pregnancy rumors can fly. Is there really any wonder that most of Hollywood is underweight? Who wouldn’t be, under so much scrutiny?
The reason the story makes me laugh is because they’re so predictably hypocritical. Because Angelina is not stick-thin, having just carried and birthed two babies, the lack of a completely flat stomach is supposedly because she’s pregnant. However, if her stomach was indeed perfectly flat, the tabloids would be ragging on how she’s too skinny. Maybe they’d even accuse her of being a bad mother for the weight loss because they could claim she’s an unhealthy example or that she’s spending too much time worrying about losing weight to care for her children.
It really is true that when you become a tabloid target, you just can’t win no matter what you do. If Angelina isn’t too skinny, then clearly she’s too big, and thus pregnant. It’s ridiculous.

as you say, this is weird. on the other hand – “in touch” was the first magazine to report that they weren’t only expecting twins but A BOY AND A GIRL… but maybe that was just a good guess…
this really annoys me that they think she is preggers because of the “baby bump”. My son is one year old and i still have that so called baby bump as he is my second and it is a little harder to get rid of the second time round. Give the woman a break she just had twins a few months ago…FOOLS…
in touch didn’t even stick with their boy and girl angle,as a day before the birth (11th july) in touch website said angelina had twin GIRLS.
Angelina confirmed just one month ago that ”The next one will be adopted”. So, pregnancy in the near future seems impossibe.

I also doubt it. Brad and Angie are not foolish young people. I think they plan their lives very carefully. I think the next will be adopted also.

Apparently Angie has a cadre of friends who know enough to only bring only the important news items regarding her to her attention. Otherwise she never knows anything about this nonsense. So, good for her; and sad for us that as fans we do know about this cr*p.

In Touch at first said “TWIN GIRLS”. They are as full of it as the best of them…
But hey if you need to believe and give them the benefit of doubt, then go ahead.
Good grief! What will they come up with next? Not only has Angie basically confirmed that the next one will be adopted (what with her comments about not being able to start the process until any new children are six months old), but she also recently said that they add to their brood only when the newest member/members of the family are “fully absorbed” into the family.
Also, Angie had a C-section with Knox and Viv, and, from what I have read, it is definintely NOT wise to get pregnant that soon after a C-section (not that everyone heeds that advice! Look at Britney, for example!). In fact, I’ve read that you’re supposed to give your body 18 months to recover after a C-section before getting pregnant again.
Also, did In Touch not see her in New York last month? She definintely did NOT have even a hint of a baby bump, and you don’t go from zero to bump in less than a month (it hasn’t techincally been a full month yet since Angie finished promoting Changeling)!
As for In Touch’s surprisngly accurate report on Knox and Viv, I’m guessing they just got lucky! They have incorrectly reported Angie being pregnant in the past!
About the getting pregnant so soon after a C-section thing…I forgot to mention that Angie definently doesn’t seem like she’d be that stupid!
UNDER MOD- My thoughts as to why Angie would heed the advice not to get pregnant so soon after a C-section.
Oh, and “Out of touch is more like it”…I love it! Out of Touch would definitely be a better name for them!
This is probably crap, baby bump alert? Or left over from her last pregnancy maybe? Really people are so ignorant…. My sister lost her first pregnancy weight easily, the second time around it took her more than a year, even with daily trips to the gym and watching her eating, but with consideration to breast feeding you can’t just starve yourself. Angelina is breastfeeding too so she can’t loose weight too quickly as it will be unhealthy for the babies. And she had twins, more weight to loose for her. Celebs aren’t super human, people can’t expect them to bounce back to normal in a month….
I read that article on JJ, but I can not stand those haters there!
I don’t think brad and ange are that irresponsible to get pregnant again that soon. With 6 children around them, I think they are still adjusting and enjoying the challenge. These tabloids needs to have a good headline and right now putting brad and ange in the front page will sell a lot of tabloids. God Bless brad and ange…. mwah
they wanted to adopt again right? that does not mean that they would not get pregnant again, but never that soon! and they are too mature for getting pregnant on accident, especially after the C-Section, i agree with joliepittfanatic.

I had a good laugh when I read that cover story of In Touch. I doubt very much that she and Brad would have another biological child so soon after the twins. They´ll adopt the next one (possibly from Africa) and then have another bio baby. But no matter how they have their next child he/she will be a welcome addition to their ever expanding brood. Mad already has an Asian brother, Shi has the twins so most likely it´s Princess Zee who´ll get an African sister next. So don´t believe every tabloid story. I don´t. God bless Brad, Angie and their adorable children!
Wasn’t the Mad Maz just pushing the fact that Jennifer Aniston is preggers with Meyers’ child? What’s to understand. They are trying to sell their product. True or False.
It could definitely be true in the sense that it’s not impossible. Even the smartest and best planner can end up with a surprise pregnancy. No birth control method is completely fool proof.
The reason the story is ridiculous to me is, as I mentioned, it all comes back down to Hollywood’s strange obsession with being as thin as possible and so if someone has even the slightest hint of a belly they jump on the pregnancy train.
And like I said, if she was back to the weight from this time last year, everyone would be screaming that she’s way too thin. Instead, she’s got a healthier weight going on and instead of mentioning that, they just start speculating that she’s pregnant.
I’m starting to think these people have absolutely no idea how the human body works when it comes to pregnancy and birth and the recovery from both.

just a heads-up. the envolope, the magazine in the L.A times, has a interview and a new photo-shoot of angelina, which will be published this wednesday 12th november. angelina is on the cover entitled ‘mother on a mission’.

i think i saw a magazine over the grocery that has angie and jen a. photos that claims angie apologizes to jen. i think it’s pretty l*a*m*e story. i mean, why would she apologize? for what? the tabs still can’t over the so called jolie/pitt/aniston triangle.

Since when being apart for almost a week is gonna kill one relationship? Brad has been in Chicago and then in NYC for afew days. no one has seen him since friday morning. So maybe he has left the city for wherever family are.
I’m just so mad right now. After reading all those BU’s talks in JJ, seriously why can’t these people let other to live?
So what if Angie hasn’t been with Brad for 1 week? Is it the end of the world? New York Post is full of it. They have even called Brad’s rep to get an answer about their BS’s story. What are the thinking about themselves?

Please, I really don’t mean to sound peevish, but could people stop saying that Zahara needs an “African Sister, as Shiloh has the Twins and Maddox and Pax are brohters”. It makes it sound like they only relate to those that look like them and flys in the face of having a multi cultural family. They are “all brothers and sisters”, not just different ethnic groups living in the same house. Whenever I read this, it just sounds like they are adopting dolls for the children to play with.
Funny, it seems that Zahara relates better to Pax than Maddox and she has no problem seeing Brad and Angelina as her parents and they don’t look like her. Yes, they have said they want to balance the family, but they are not adopting just for one person, but for the entire family.
I agree about pregnacy not being impossible, but improbable. Accidents do happen and just because you say you want to adopt first does not rule out pregnancy. But again, as above, she is at a good weight and not rail thin, and the only thing the tabs can attribute this to is pregnancy, not common sense. Her most recent photos make her look good and her legs in the most recent photos are so much better than last year, so I hope she keeps this weight on, she looks great. Thanks and I hope this site remains positive and upbeat in reporting on this family.
Sherry, I totally understand what you’re saying on the “bump obsession.” It’s just another way tabs are completely misogynistic. I mean, I would never go up to someone with a slight tummy and ask if they were pregnant (it’s like telling someone they’re fat, basically), so how come the tabs think they can speculate publicly? Angelina JUST GAVE BIRTH..to TWINS! There was some other story where it talked about Angie’s “curvy” body versus her formerly “thin” physique. It’s like: she’s not “curvy” or “chubby,” fools, she’s recovering from P-R-E-G-N-A-N-C-Y. The bump-watchers are so annoying. If I were a celebrity, it would piss me off: I don’t need anyone scrutinizing my belly day in and day out. Sometimes a tummy is just a tummy, and there ain’t nothing wrong with it!
Sarita, I agree with you entirely! I also want to point out that if Angie were far enough along in a pregnancy to be showing, she’d have to be at least three months, which would mean she had gotten pregnant practically the minute she left the hospital with Knox and Viv!
Honestly, Out of Touch must have forgotten their “Reality check pills” the day they wrote that story!
