Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s first baby pictures!
Looks like the pictures are ready for publication!!! I guess we will see them within the next week. The media in Australia is bidding for the Aussie rights to the pictures and had a record starting bid of $700,000. Who Magazine is rumored to have won the bid for $1.5 million. From The Daily Telegraph:
Being offered through Getty Images, the agency confirmed almost every Aussie celebrity magazine had put in an offer for the set of six photos, with “virtually everyone” registering a serious bid above the reserve.
“The images are beautiful – very intimate, casual and not Hollywood glitz,” the agency said.
The money raised from the worldwide deals will go to children’s charity UNICEF, with total sales expected to reach more than $6.65 million.

“While we celebrate the joy of the birth of our daughter, we recognize that two million babies born every year in the developing world die on the first day of their lives. These children can be saved, but only if governments around the world make it a priority,” said Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in a statement.
“When I first met Angelina at a congressional briefing focusing on the role of business and government in combating HIV/AIDS last year, I was immediately struck by our mutual passion and determination for creating change through action,” said Jonathan Klein, CEO and co-founder of Getty Images. “We are honored that the Jolie-Pitt family has recognized our long-term commitment to these critical issues as well as our ability to use the power of imagery to make a difference in the lives of many.”

I’m glad they’re distributing this way. They may even raise more money than then they predict, and with every penny going to assist those who have even less then the least of us, it really makes my heart full. This is yet another reason that in my opinion Brad & Angelina are so much more than a throwaway celeb couple. This is one of my favorite Angelina Jolie interview’s, and I think it says exactly what she’s found in Brad (and he her) It’s the right person for the life they both need and want to live. JMHO

Curry: How much did you draw on your own life to do this film?
Jolie: I think for everybody, especially for every woman, we’ve had a moment where you’re lying in bed and you’re thinking about the person next to you, and you think, “You have no idea who I am.”
(Jolie says both her own husbands were wonderful men. Still, she says, she could personally identify with what Jane Smith was going through.)
Jolie: There was something missing … that we didn’t have the same value for how we wanted to live our lives, what we wanted to do with our lives — if we wanted to be of use to others, in what ways. We didn’t have the same goals. And that, at the end of the day, as much as you can have fun with them, you can have great sex with somebody, you can have all that stuff, [but] if you don’t wake up with a common purpose and a dream to live a similar legacy, then it’s not going to work. It didn’t for me. So, this film also came at a time where I’ve been analyzing what that is. And I know now what it would need to be in order to be married again.
Curry: So, it did teach you something.
Jolie: Yeah, yeah.
Curry: Something maybe changed a little bit of what may be possible in that area for you.
Jolie: Yeah, and it certainly made me think what a nice thing it would be to have a teammate.

I read on another site that “the successful bidder will need to be approved by Brad & Angie and sign a contract. They will only be able to print the snaps once – and online publication is banned.”
But you know as soon as the magazine hits the stands people will scan the photos and they will be everywhere online.

Inside Edition is reporting they will be giving a joint press conference tomorrow or Wed. in Namibia. Only 15 journalists will be allowed to attend

According to inside edition, brad and angie are going to hold a press conference to talk about the charity they’re donating to. Only 15 journalist allowed.
They said that the family celebrated angelina’s 31st b-day with brad’s parents and fam and angie’s bro and the kids and the whole klan. (I wonder where her mom is?)
Inside edition will have new pics of brad after the birth of shiloh, tomorrow

Well, at least we should have some news straight from the family shortly. But so what was all the hooplah 2 weeks ago about the baby photos already being sold for 5 million to a “US Magazine”? was that a lie? Just a rumor? Oh dear, it’s so hard to stay on track sometimes with whats true and whats not.
at this point, I just wanna SEE the baby!!!

. According to CBB the press conference will be held on wed, persumably to annouce the winning bidder and the charity they’ve chosen to give to.
. The photos are expected to raise more than $6.65 million dollars, and UNICEF is believed to be the charity the money will be donated to
. The highest bidder will need to be approved by Angelina and Brad and will sign a contract agreeing to the rules set forth( so probably People Magazine)
. The pictures include the entire family.
. And lastly Mr&Mrs Smith Unrated comes out today!!

Shiloh is beautiful, and along with her siblings, truly blessed to have such wonderful and caring parents. I think Ang has been a class act throughout Aniston-Jolie-Pitt circus that has played out in the media and she deserves all the happiness in the world. Congrats to the parents!
