Some Brad Pitt commercials to fill the void
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have essentially fallen off the face of the earth since they went out to L.A. Other than Angelina going to film on the set (and we were totally spoiled by getting so many wonderful photos), we haven’t seen much of them. There was the one day Brad visited her but we haven’t had a chance to see them out and about with the kids or each other or even just getting coffee.
From the comments in my other entry, it sounds like it’s because L.A. is even harder for them to navigate with all the paparazzi everywhere and that they’re possibly laying low in their Los Feliz home. This is really a shame. I’d rather know that they were just taking it easy than think they’re hiding out. Hopefully they’ve managed to give the cameras the slip a few times at least.
Due to the extreme lack of Brad Pitt info, I thought I’d dig into the vault and give you some old and not-as-old Brad commercials.
And while it’s not anything new, it does include Brad being shirtless in a Pringles commercial looking like a total surfer boy! Come on in!
Pringles commercial from who knows when:
Brad kicking a photocopy machine’s butt in a Japanese coffee commercial:
Brad looking extremely hot and sexy in a Rolex ad:
Brad, circa 1991 (god I feel old), for Levis jeans;
And finally, Brad needs a beer in this Heineken commercial:
Enjoy!

I hope they are happy and safe where ever they are. I also miss seeing the children.
Off subject, the fires out there are so scary, I feel so sorry for all of these people. I hope that they are able to get them under control. There are so many people suffering that I can’t just pray that the JP’s are okay.

I hope the people out in Ca. affected by the fire are all safe, same goes to the Jolie-Pitt’s. There is one sighting of Brad when he gave Casey Affleck his award I think that was on Sunday or Monday night I hope Brad & Ange, are resting & having a good time with their kids. God bless them.

Well, I live in Orange County and 1 1/2 mile from us is Modjeska Canyon where 15-20 homes burned this afternoon. San Diego County is the hardest hit. The football games were re-scheduled because 20,000 people evacuated at Qualcom stadium and it will be around 70,000 soon. Our office is donating toys and sunscreen lotion forthe kids who are outside this open air stadium. Brad and Angie have homes in Malibu (fire zone, Pacific Coast Hwy is closed going to Malibu), Los Feliz is the other (another fire zone) and the third house in L.A. county is in Santa Barbara, their other beach house Brad bought when he was still married to JA. I don’t know where they are staying because the news did not show them among the celebrities evacuating Malibu or Los Feliz. Angie is supposed to be filming in San Bernardino at an old train station but I think it is a closed set. I have a feeling they are in Santa Barbara. Brad did not walk the red carpet Monday night at the Beverly Hilton. But good news, AMH is out on DVD and AOJJ is showing in more theaters. Beouwulf trailer is showing on tv for a November 16 release. George Bush will be in California on Thursday. Regards to all. Will keep you posted if there is anything or photo of our favorite family. They are enjoying family time.

Brad was just (Monday? Tuesday?) at the Hollywood Awards, where he “roasted” Cassey Affleck - not quite “falling off the face of the earth”. I do like that the Jolie-Pitts semm to be enjoying SOME privacy.

Brad Pitt went green at the Hollywood Awards on Monday night, arriving at the glitzy Los Angeles event in a chauffeur-driven Toyota Prius hybrid. The actor was there to present his The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford co-star, Casey Affleck, with the Breakthrough Actor of The Year prize. Meanwhile, Richard Gere was named Actor of The Year for The Hoax, John Travolta picked up the Supporting Actor of The Year prize for Hairspray and Casey’s brother Ben Affleck claimed the Breakthrough Director gong for Gone Baby Gone. Jennifer Connelly was named Supporting Actress of the Year for Reservation Road and French star Marion Cotillard claimed the Breakthrough Actress prize for her portrayal of singer Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose. The Hollywood Awards are part of the annual Hollywood Film Festival

I don’t know guys, that is a baggy outfit and it could be just a big lunch. I still hope it is a baby bump that is why they have to finish the film soon. Please, let it be a baby bump. Sherry, thanks for the commercials. I saw the Heineken at a superbowl show a few years ago. Heineken showed a commercial with JA too at the same superbowl event. I like the jeans the most since they are still running the same scene with a different model now, but same concept.

Heaven,
I think that’s a “left over” bump from Shiloh, we can see it now ‘cos her weight is back to normal.
Sorry! Wish it was too, but I think they will spend some more time as a family first.

Frenzy indeed! I have to say, in looking at the posts over at JJ there is an incredible amount of time being spent on talking about Brad & Angie, and I was looking at myself thinking “Do I have an obsession with them?” the answer of course is Yes…AND I am pledged to becoming more active MYSELF to emmulate their good work in the world…. So, less time looking and more time in action for me!!! Peace to all, and btw, ITA with BlessBrangelina about the “bump”. Once a body is stretched to that full term size, the bump is always there…..that’s the beauty of the Goddess!

One brother had to evacuate from his house in north San Diego, the other had a voluntary evacuation notice, they and their houses are fine. A whole life in ashes is devastating to anyone, and especially those who don’t have the income & resources to rebuild. It takes longer for the poor & middle class.
I found this out when my family took up Angelina & Brad’s suggestion of vacationing in New Orleans to help the economy recover. Just came back, it’s still a fabulous place for a vacation - maybe even better with fewer tourists to crowd you.
We talked with everyone - cab drivers, reception clerks, housekeepers, waiters, shop clerks, bartenders, B&B owners. home owners, restaurant owners, tour guides. Everyone had incredible stories to share: those who vacated, those rescued off their roofs, trapped with water but no food for 8 days, differing levels of damage to their home or business, roofs torn off, windows & doors blown out, in a new place just a couple of months before it was destroyed, a home of 25 years battered by the wind & rain and torn off its foundations, a family of 5 adults & their dog clinging to a tree for 9 hours before being rescued. Some have recovered totally, some are on their way, many have a long way to go.
Please take Angelina & Brad’s suggestion to visit New Orleans - THE FOOD, THE MUSIC, THE MAGIC OF NEW ORLEANS. Tourism, their #1 industry, is down about 60%. And if you’d rather be hands on, they need lots of people and there are lots of ways to volunteer your time & effort - neworleansonline.com.
**Got to see the Habitat for Humanity’s Musicians Village where Brad volunteered for a day - gorgeous, sturdy, well-made and well-equipped. Also one of Oprah’s housing projects.

Did you see the shortest man in the Guinness World Book of Records 2006. He is even shorter than a 30cm ruler. Can you believe it.
