Sources Are Reporting A Fairytale Wedding
The Daily Mail is reporting that Brad and Angelina have set a date for a sweet African wedding for Christmas in a village outside of Johannesburg. It is reported that Oprah was part of the impetus and said to Angie, “When you have the chance to capture lightning in a bottle you need to go for it.”
Whether this is true or not remains to be seen, but I had to share it with you. I’ll keep digging.
OMG! That would be so awesome! Although I believe their love is so strong they don’t even need a ceremony, but hey, it’s incredibly romantic. I’m so freaking happy for them.
Robyn, please don’t think I don’t appreciate your bringing what you hear to us, and I hope I don’t sound like I don’t. I’m just saying to those who want to listen that please dont put a lot of stock in some of this storys based on who it is reporting them.

The above are tabloids, the story is from a tabloid and one of the worse ans so even a grain of salt is required.
Rules of the tabloid road.
1. how important is the story to the media
2. are other tabs reporting the same story
3. are any legit media outlets reporting it
4. are sources named-are they legit (pr rep specifically because if you’ve ever noticed, the tabliods will bodly drop even a family members, name, but they will never say came directly from the one person authorized to speak on their behalf, and thats their publicist, agent, manager or lawyer.
5. what’s the relationship of all the people who ARE mentioned?
In this story it talks of a friendship between Oprah & Angelina. That’s not true. What dare suggest what it is, but with confidence I’ll say “they aren’t friends.” Oprah has been very vocal about her affection for Jennifer Aniston to the point of publically letting it be known on which side of that issue she falls. I think I can say with the utmost certainty that “Oprah and Angelina AREN’T friends in the way this story suggests.”
Next would be Madonna, George Clooney and lastly mentioned, the Bond guy.
Madonna and Angelina have never met and Madonna said that on Oprah. The reason she’s been stuck on the guest list is because the tab has assumed that because of the adoption issue, the fake Oprah connection, and the fact that Brad has worked with Madonna’s husband Guy Ritchie, people might think it a logical invite. It’s not.
George Clooney? I think it’s pretty understood that Brad & George are friends, and it’s automatically assumed that he would be an invite without question IF a ceremony were to take place.
Lastly is the Bond guy. Why? Because he’s hot right now, and because he and Angelina Jolie were in Tomb Raider.
It’s fun to imagine all these storys having legs to stand on, and even myself read one this week that I wished were so because it sounded so cute, but I know to tread lightly with theses tales because they generally prove to be false in time, but only to be replaced with yet another one.
I hate giving creedence to tabloids when I know there’s nothing but lies fueling it, and it’s the reason I sometimes feel compelled to give my personal opinion of why the tabloids aren’t to be trusted at any time to tell the truth.

Yes, it came through fine. I think that as a Pitt writer I’d be remiss not to bring this to you, because were it true and I held it back, I’d feel horrible.
However, knowing the source, I also doubt it. But, that’s why I put the source clearly in post. It’s probably not true, especially with their previous statements on marriage, but I have to admit I hope it is.

Yeah, this story looks pretty bogus to me, considering Oprah has pretty much annointed herself President of Team Aniston. I couldn’t turn on Oprah this past year without Aniston being a guest, whether in person or via phonecall. Yet now Oprah is championing a wedding between Pitt and Jolie???? Um yeah, dont piss on my leg and tell me its raining.
I had mentioned Jolie maybe being nominated for TGS…but since the movie isnt being released til Christmas, does anyone know if it is being screened early so it can be nominated come Golden Globes time??? I so want Brad and Angelina to be nominated… and to attend…together….and both win….and kiss each other before going on stage….and thank each other. Is that too much to ask for???????
Good call jpf. Sometimes we want to believe it so we just assume its true. But what you say makes sense.
I would think it odd if they didn’t attend together. I mean, they travel together, and Brad said the reason they didn’t accompany him to the Babel premiere is because the flight would be too long for the kids for such a short stay.
Are Angie and Oprah friends??, i mean… i thought they didn’t like each other; because it seems that Oprah likes better Jen than Angie!! So Angie and Oprah are friends or what????

Thank you Robyn and original jpf for the news and the guidance to the tab news. I think the tabs are doing a wild marketing speculation. They want Brad’s name on the cover wars because they are tired of putting Britney, Jessica and Lindsay. So they are going back to our favorite family and JA and VV. Angie will not appear on Oprah because Oprah and Jennifer are close. And Brad appeared on Oprah only twice, first when he was promoting “Meet Joe Black” and was with JA at the time. And Brad I think appeared with the stars of Ocean’s 12 the second time when he said he wants to have kids and family. After M/M Smith, he does not show up in any talk shows such as Jay Leno, David Letterman, etc.

Brad & Angie do not need at have a mega million dollar wedding to show off their love for each other and the kids. To me they are already husband & wife. Their compatibility and love for their kids have proven for 2 years, longer than that of Jen & Vince.

Hello everyone again,
I just read a few minutes ago that our favorite Brangelina visited a city in Pennsylvania at a famous architect’s house, had a two-hour tour and lunch. You know what this means, they are headed to NY since it is so close to NY already for the movie premiere. The article did not mention if the kids went to PA too. It’s on google search, no picture.

This certainly is good news! I am one that definitely loves Angelina! She is definitely a SUPERSTAR!! Brad Pitt is certainly one LUCKY GUY! I do hope that this is true, and that they will be tying the knot. If anyone deserves a GOOD MAN THAT WOULD BE THE EVER SO BEAUTIFUL ANGELINA!!! Can’t wait to catch her next few movies, I love this woman. She so totally takes my breath away, everytime I see her on TV, or on the magazine covers.
