Video footage of Brad Pitt on the Benjamin Button red carpet
December 9, 2008 by Sherry
I love looking at photos of Brad Pitt on the red carpet, but even more than that, I love to watch video footage as well. Since I can’t be on the red carpet with everyone, this is pretty much the next best thing.
I particularly loved when Tilda Swinton was talking about the reasons The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a great movie, and then she added, “and then you’ve got Brad Pitt, how could you go wrong?” True, very true!
I have to add that I really like Cate Blanchett’s dress. While it’s not my particular style, I love how it glitters in the light, something that isn’t as visible in still photos.
I also enjoyed listening to Brad talking about Make It Right near the end, it’s so plain to see how much joy he has over the work that has been done in New Orleans so far.
Enjoy!
More Benjamin Button red carpet photos!
December 9, 2008 by Sherry
As expected, there are now a great deal more photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. There are so many shots of Brad and Angie looking incredibly happy, and some of my favorites are the photos of Brad’s parents - it’s wonderful to see them on the red carpet, supporting their son and his new movie! They must be among the most famous non-celebrity parents out there.
Keep reading below the cut to see a lot more Brad and Angelina red carpet photos!
Babeling about Babel
May 26, 2006 by Administrator
While waiting on babies and Cannes awards, here are a couple of articles about Babel. This first one has another cute gush about Brad from Cate Blanchett. She must have REALLY enjoyed working with him. LOL
I loved it, I think he is remarkable. For someone who is under such intense scrutiny constantly… he is a great human being, a great spirit, a very blithe spirit and I love working with him and we are about to work together again so…he’s fantastic.
Cute, huh? That always cracks me up when stars are star struck.
Here is a Bloomberg review of Babel and a few other Cannes offerings.
Edit: A new article from Time’s Richard Corliss for the first time makes me really WANT to see this movie.
Babel is a hit in Cannes

Babel has its eye on the prize, the Palme d’Or, at the Cannes Film Festival this year, as it has been quite a hit. An e-mail from Brad was read before the movie (squelching all rumors of him showing up at Cannes for good):
“With the imminent arrival of the newest addition to our family, I am unable to join Alejandro, Cate, Gael and the rest of the cast and crew in introducing the film,” he wrote, adding that he was “tremendously proud” of Babel.
And this is what Cate Blanchett said about working with Brad:
“In terms of working with Brad, it’s like chocolate. He’s glorious and wonderful and I really wanted to work with him for a long time.”
Mmmm - Chocolate. I bet she really wanted to work with him. What actress in her right mind wouldn’t??
