This site has some of the pictures from the issue of Newsweek featuring Angelina Jolie.
The pictures are stunning and touching.
I imagine the actual photos on glossy magazine pages will be even more stunning and high-impact.

Every Google Alert that I have set up for Angelina Jolie news has linked to articles where Angie mentions that she was once very nearly kidnapped. She wouldn’t mention when it was or which country, but said this:
“It was in a small village. I won’t say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned […]

Newsweek has a fantastic excerpt of an interview with Angelina Jolie. If you see it on your news stand, be sure to get your own copy for the full article.
They discussed how she became involved in her humanitarian work, how she feels about being criticised by people who don’t understand and accuse her […]

USA Today has a great article up comparing Angelina Jolie and Mia Farrow. It’s a perfect example of what great women they both are and it’s very inspiring.
The article shows that both women have famous roots starting with their parents, both have been awarded for their acting work, and both have had in-the-spotlight relationships. […]

Old photo of Angelina, 2005, World Refugee Day
She expressed outrage at a photo which appeared recently in the quarterly magazine, taken on an unidentified Mediterranean beach in Spain in 2002, which showed a couple relaxing under an umbrella not far from the washed-up corpse of a black man.
“We’ll never know who he was or why […]

If these comments weren’t taken totally out of context and embellished by a media greedy for sales - Nicole seems a bit jealous of Angelina as she downplays Angelina’s works for charity and the United Nations:
The Australian actress - who is about to make her first trip to India as goodwill ambassador for the United […]

JLS sent me this link this morning to an opinion piece in USA Today that she was particularly fond of. She is definitely right, this is a good one! Here is the part of most concern to us as Brangelina fans, but do read the whole article!
Meanwhile, Leno and Letterman can make all […]

The New York Times seemed to be most impressed with Angelina Jolie in her interview/conversation with Anderson Cooper last night - and maybe not so terribly impressed with Anderson himself. Regardless, we all know it was good stuff for a very good cause:
It is always tempting to dismiss an actor’s passionate embrace of charity […]
