Pittwatch.com: Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Gossip

The Jolie-Pitt Family at Chuck E Cheese

by Sherry on January 10th, 2008

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, Pax Jolie-Pitt, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt at Chuck E. Cheese in MissouriLooks like US Weekly is trying to stay on the good side of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie by continuing to publish positive things, rather than negative tabloid trash. This time, they managed to get some exclusive photos of Brad, Angelina, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh at Chuck E. Cheese while they were in Springfield, Missouri.

According to the magazine, they also had some of Brad’s nieces and nephews and they ate some pizza, then played games. According to someone who was eating there at the time:

“Brad was surrounded by a bunch of girls and boys. Angelina was holding Shiloh. She was so cute!”

Apparently the kids are all very polite, with Brad and Angelina making sure they always remember that a please and thank you are good manners.

On the one hand, it’s a shame someone got pictures of them, but at the same time a) I do love seeing them, especially in a relaxed, everyday sort of setting, and b) it does look like at least the photographer in question took the pictures from a distance and gave them their space.

Brad Pitt called Sophie a cutie!!!!!

I don’t have any pics this time because I wanted to give them their space…Here’s what happened:

My mom called me yesterday around 3:00pm and said it would be in my best interest to eat dinner in the restaurant around 5:00 pm last night. So, Kelly, Sophie, and I were there and at around 5:30 pm the Pitt family walked in the doors. I am talking about Brad’s parents and siblings with their children. Not too far behind little Maddox himself came in with one of his cousins. Then, sure enough, baby Zahara came in carried by one of her uncles. Finally, ANGELINA and BRAD walked in with Shiloh in arms!!!!!!!!!! I am NOT kidding!! My mom was holding Sophie and introduced herself to both Angelina and Brad. Brad took Sophie’s hand and said, “Hi there cutie!” We were sitting at a table behind all of this so we didn’t get to be formally introduced like Sophie Bug! Angelina is totally beautiful and Brad is as well. It was so cool to see them in person. I can’t wait to tell Sophie this story when she is older:)

Um..but…but I thought Brad’s mom hated Angelina? My golly..say it ain’t so..could that tabs be lying? LOL. Don’t you love making people look like fools.

Anyway I’m still looking for the link because I really hate posting things without them…

As beautiful as Miss Shiloh is, I really want to see the pink coat and shoes that Miss Zahara is wearing. She may be at the age to choose some colors as she had on pink shoes in NOLA too.

I too feel guilty about these photos as MO was the last place they could go and not worry about people taking their pictures. You are right though, at least they are not being too terribly intrusive and it seems like they were leaving anyway as everyone has on a coat.

Beautiful family, including Grandma with her sharp Coach bag that seems to match her jacket.

    Thanks for the site.

Is Shiloh’s coat real fur? (Now I’m not gonna get into the whole red paint stuff don’t worry)

If it is then why did Angie even set up a wildlife charity thing in Cambodia?

    & If It isn’t then…cute. ;)

I don’t think it is… I’ve never heard of a two year old wearing a real fur coat. here’s hoping.

  • Neela
    Jan 10, 2008 at 4:52 pm

No, it isn’t a real furcoat. (heh, I knew someone would bring that up.) It was clarified by somebody else on some other board and provided a link to a site that apparently sells the same coat or something similar. It’s purely faux.

This is what was posted by Cliniqua and gull1: Furgate: Dennis Basso Faux Fur Revearsible Shearling/Mink - comes as small as 2T, which Shiloh apparently is wearing, here’s a pic of it in brown on a 5-6 year old: http://images-p.qvc.com/is/image/a/92/a75592.002?uslarge

AF (Jan 10, 2008 at 1:54 pm)………”but Angie should be in jeans”

    WHY?

I am confused! Why should she be in jeans?

Can you explain further, as I find your remark really odd and I wonder if I am “missing” something?

    Thanks

  • AF
    Jan 10, 2008 at 5:34 pm

Neela you are resourceful! It didn’t occur to me, though, that Shiloh’s coat would be real fur; real fur, especially for a 2 yr old, is such a strong display of the disregard for animal suffering. I would have been very disappointed if Brad and Angelina supported the fur industry.

  • Neela
    Jan 10, 2008 at 5:43 pm

AF, heh, I’d like to take credit, but other Brangie fans found the link :) Yeah, as soon as I saw the coat, I figured some people would be raising their eyebrows, but it’s nice to see that Angie fans were very resourceful. They even found a pic of Suri wearing the exact same coat (maybe a month or two ago), and PETA didn’t slap her with a big whooping scolding, so, I highly doubt it would be real fur.

Jill, …Because she’s at Chuck E Cheese w/ her kids! Even Brad is wearing jeans. She looks too serious and severe w/ her black trench coat & pants. It would be nice to see her in something more laid back, & youthful. Most moms, including celebrity moms, wear jeans (ie Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon, etc). Jeans are cool, sexy, and real. You can’t tell me you’re really confused about wearing jeans for a Chuck E Cheese outing? Pls advise.

  • Lucy
    Jan 11, 2008 at 1:59 am

Thank you Sherry for posting these photos although it looks like from a long lense which is good. They are probably not even aware, their pictures are being taken except for Brad, he said once he can tell if someone is taking his picture for being in the business for 15 years. What is the big deal if Angie is not wearing jeans? Even Lainey, mentioned that. I remember when Jackie Onassis was still alive, she always dresses in style everywhere she goes. If everybody is guessing that she is pregnant, then wearing jeans is out of the question. It is not her style. Her personal touch is more formal whatever makes her feel comfortable, pregnant or not. Remember, there was only one time she wore jeans when they were in Europe last summer. I don’t think she likes wearing jeans.

cute pics…I am glad to hear that Shiloh’s coat is faux fur, but I refuse to wear real or faux. I think either way it promotes the glamour of fur and I think it’s the most disgusting and hideous fashion statement to make. Fur (whether real or faux) is nasty- why would anyone want to look like they’re wearing dead animal? How about just not wearing real or fake copies? Fur should have been out of fashion ages ago anyway.

Yeah that’s what I figured, just responding to the folk who thought it might be fur, I saw the posts at jj. I would have thought it wasn’t(fur) even if it had not been all over the place, because Angie is not the kind of person who would put a fur coat on a child. IMO I have seen people do it, somehow even if you can afford it, fur coats for children is a bit tacky. Not saying the cruelty is not the best reason to avoid it. Thanks for posting I enjoy reading, even though I don’t always comment.

  • Neela

Neela, once you mentioned Cliniqua, you lost all credibility. Isn’t that the same one that was fired from a paper after they realized that she was nutty as a fruitcake, some type of crazy Angelina fan that was a bit over the top. However, I could be wrong. But, she is a bit psychotic. I also think that it is a stretch to compare how Kate dress Suri and Angelina dress Shiloh. They dress Suri like a little princess. She always look like such a little doll baby.

  • Neela
    Jan 14, 2008 at 10:40 am

sunshine, it is the same coat that suri was wearing. at least it is very, very similar. and i don’t know cliniqua or anything about her. but, she did post a link to support her stance before running her mouth off, unlike others. anyway, other blogs even posted the pic of suri. so, please, at least do a little research. here’s a pic: http://www.imnotobsessed.com/2007/11/08/katie-holmes-and-suri-out-in-washing-dc/

here’s another site that has the same pic, in case you can’t open that one: http://www.wendywayrad.com/katie_holmes/index.html

“also think that it is a stretch to compare how Kate dress Suri and Angelina dress Shiloh.”

you mean, kinda like your analysis of the pics of angie and brad’s red carpet appearance at the boewulf premier in london? now that was really a stretch.

and in my opinion, both kids are very cute, regardless of how they are dressed. they’re just children. they don’t need to be judged as harshly as their parents. i think you’re just trying to find anything wrong with this family–even with the child–and everytime you post on this site, you’ve set out to be negative. sherry was right.

    Jan 14, 2008 at 11:16 am

i don’t know anything about cliniqua nor have i interacted with her. the point is, she at least tried to support her stance by posting links, unlike others.

as far as this comment: ““also think that it is a stretch to compare how Kate dress Suri and Angelina dress Shiloh.” well, it’s not quite a stretch considering the pics and multiple blogs that have posted those pics of suri with the same (or very similar) coat on.

however, i think it is sad that two beautiful children have to be judged and pitted against each other. sherry was right about you. every time you post on here, you’ve set out to be negative, whether that antagonism is set against other posters or at sherry or at the JPs. in the beginning, i tried to be nice to you, but clearly, you are unable to reciprocate the same kind of respect.

Neela, do you have a stuttering problem. Seems as though you do. How many times did you need to say what you said. I did not say that they did not have the same coat, I simply stated that Kate dresses Suri like a little doll baby. And, baby, don”t you think it is time to let that red carpet thing go, it is a New Year, get over it. Now, as for Suri, I was complimenting her mother for dressing her so very cute. Maybe it is her sunny personality, that comes across in the pictures. Maybe it is the way she interact with her mother and father, she just melts your heart. Now, not to say that Shiloh does not do the same thing, it is just no evidence of it. Does that baby, walk, talk, or anything, if you have videos of this I would love to see them, being how you do so great research. Peace, Babe.

  • sunshine
    Jan 14, 2008 at 3:28 pm

Neela, I did not read all your post before posting. I just assumed that you were stuttering. With that being said, you seem to be quite the hypocrite. Because, you seem to speak negative when you resond to my post, so what is your point? I see that as making us equal, you have your opinion and I have mine. You say I am negative, and you always respond just as negative. So, I ask you again, what’s your point, outside of the fact that you act like you know Brad and Angelina personally. Or, I guess it is all that research that makes you feel as if you are an expert on their life. Some of us just do not have that kind of time. I mean, some of us still work for a living. Hope all this research comes with some type of benefit, because it seems that you have nothing but time to research and defend Brangelina. I wonder if they really appreciate all your work, or maybe they just do not know that you exist and could care less.

My other post is awaiting moderation, but I just have to say, thanks, shine. I’m glad I got under your skin. I actually don’t mind your nastiness. In the past, it would have irked me, but seeing as how nasty you’ve become towards me (the demands for more proof–which has been posted before–and the castigations and the “assumptions” about me) means that I/my words did get to you. Thanks for that amusement. In this case, your pollution of this site has actually brought a grin to my face :)

  • susan
    Jan 15, 2008 at 8:36 am

This site does not need to turn into a JJ site where arguments and criticisms are the norm. I always like this site because Sherry does a wonderful job posting items that are confirmed stories rather than idle gossip. Also, I always feel like I can actually have an opinion without someone jumping down my throat. So bravo to Sherry for keeping this site running and maintaining a high level of integrity.

So I say drop the debate on Suri/Shiloh and move on. Everyone on here is entitled to their own opinion and while we can certainly voice our disagreements on another comment, it shouldn’t turn ugly and people begin name calling and taking low blows. I love to read about this family too, but I am not going to go bananas because someone doesn’t like them or disagrees with me.

And as far as the people who post regularly over at JJ as a source, I agree that I wouldn’t rely on them either. People like Cliniqua, Lady G, Guli, etc. seem to spend hours (and that should be bolded) on there posting. Makes me wonder if any of them actually work or do anything beyond Brangelina research. So I stopped reading the blogs or posting there.

This site is much more enjoyable- so thank you to Sherry!!

WROTE: “You can’t tell me you’re really confused about wearing jeans for a Chuck E Cheese outing? Pls advise”.

    ————————–

    REPLY:

    Hi AF

I am NOT confused about wearing jeans for an outing, as millions of people worldwide do it everyday.

However, I was confused by your comment. I thought your comment was pretty strange, as I could not understand why her choice of clothing really mattered that much.

I don’t know what a Chuck E Cheese is, but I imagine it is some kind of fast-food joint.

From a personal point of view: I never wear jeans, as I find them uncomfortable.

My kids and husband always wear jeans on outings.

However, I prefer to dress more formal and smartly (for example: trench coat and pants) even when visiting a casual fast-food joint.

Who knows, maybe Angelina’s jeans were in the wash that day!

    ;)

Susan, I’d just like to add that the person’s you posted as unreliable sources, well, I’ve lurked at the jjb boards and they seem okay. At least gull1. (I don’t post on JustJared because I know the insanity in those comments section.) She is the only one I see on there. And she seems nice, and she actually just puts antis on ignore and encourages others to do so. Besides, I don’t know anything about them personally nor have I interacted with them. I can’t really judge them based on the numerous pics and articles they’ve put up of the JP’s. Their fanaticism is a bit extreme, but if they aren’t harming anyone, then, it’s no problem. It’s their choice. And as far as me linking to their links, well, that’s just based on personal judgment. If they had linked to a tabloid or other dubious material, then, I would ignore it.

  • Neela
    Jan 17, 2008 at 2:51 pm

Susan, this is just in case my other comment doesn’t post, so it’ll be reiterated. (As for the multiple posts, they were under moderation that should have been deleted.) So, I’ll just say, that for the most part I agree with you. And I apologize to Sherry for what happened. But do understand that a person can only take so much of one’s incessant gripes and negativity. At some point, one will have to stick up for onesself, and that is precisely what I did, especially because that person has singled me out. This person has personally insulted others on this site before, including our web hostess, and we do deserve to stand up for ourselves at least once in a while. If you are aware of this person’s posting history, then, I hope you’ll understand where I’m coming from. (I don’t expect you to sift through all the past posts :).) This is the only time I have been confrontational with someone, but to some degree it is justifiable. I only regret that it has gone too far, and for that I apologize to the loyal posters on this site and to Sherry. I do not have a problem with a dissenting opinion as long as it is respectful, non-judgmental and not underhanded. So, without meaning to disrespect you, please understand. :)

Neela- I do understand completely :-) That is why I stopped posting over at sites like JJ. The fanatics come across creepy (sorry- but they do to me) and the haters come across immature (and of course, purposely provoking). That site has become so full of constant back and forths between people that I just stopped posting all together. I couldn’t see the point arguing with someone through a computer screen. When I got angry at someone for a comment, I had to stop. After all, I don’t even know them. Just through a screen name and a comment that can either be a true opinion or a false opinion (because as we know, there are those who only write things to get people to respond). That’s how I found this site and I liked how people generally respected others and the arguments were in pretty good humor. But I understand having to speak up if someone is just being extremely rude or attacking you. I’ve been there, done that one- haha :-) So no need to apologize. I respect your opinion.

Thanks, Susan. :) I’m incredibly grateful to Sherry, too because she’s been so understanding. :)

Yeah, I never look at the comments on justjared, but I lurk at the jjb.com because people put up pics that I have never seen before. But as far as posting, this site and the souliejolie forums are the only places I bother to share my input.
