  Mad is walking by himself, he has grown a lot & seems very independent at his age, Shi seems to know everything around her, she is growing real fast. I hope, they stay in France for a while, I think the French paparazzis will leave them alone for a while, let them have their family time.

  I personally think these types of photos are a complete waste of time.

  I don’t know why the photographers bother to take side and back shots of people, especially at such a distance.

  They are very uninspiring and boring photos, just like the previous airport lot.

  Anyway that is just my personal opinion, because from the other comments on here obviously no-one else would agree with me.

  I don’t understand your comment. As fans of this family, we hang on to these moments no matter how boring they are. We are fans.   Since we can’t get enough of this family, any photo will do. Specially now that their on the move again, we all have no idea where their next stop is. A lot of rumors about A mighty heart being a flop, as for me, it’s better to have excellent reviews about the movie than the movie doing good in the box office but has the worse reviews from movie critics. Awards are much better sellers than just box office. For example, the movies, Die hard and Evan Almighty, yes they did good on the sales but after that, award wise, nothing else. Joy…

  yup, for those of us who truly love this family, any photo will do. in fact, i don’t mind these so much, especially since they are not taken too close to them. i know it kind of takes away from their privacy, but at least the paps aren’t too close to them to cause any physical damage.

  I do not understand why everyone says AMH was a flop.It was an independent movie,Those movie never make alot of money.It was a sad movie with an ending everyone knew.Audiences in the summer will not go see a movie like that.But i think Angie was great in it.I hope the industry does not forget her in the award season.I read somewhere that J.A & oprah winfrey are on the academy awards panel.Do you think they will influence the votes against Angie & the movie???

  It would have been nice to see Angie on Oprah promoting AMH. Not that I like o but she does have a big fan base. I think it would have helped the movie and also personlly to see that O’s look on her face when Angie walks out with no problem with her what so ever. Has she ever been on O.

  We all know that Oprah is a good friend of JA, it does not surprise me why O never had Angie to guest on her show. If O and JA are both on the Academy panel, Angie would have a very slim chance of getting an award, we all know how influential she is. If and when that happens, both JA and O have really stooped as low as dirt, no wonder I got sick and tired of watching her show. To tell you guys frankly, even before when Brad was still with Jen, I never had any interest in watching her show Friends, I find it pointless and dull, there’s hardly a plot whatsoever, don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate JA, I just find her dull and she does not have that aura in her. Good acting in any field gets my attention, just like when I first saw Lara Croft, Gia, Girl Interupted and finally, Mr and Mrs. Smith. You can tell a great actress, when she can play any role and gets you to sit there with your mouth open cause she does the part with vigor then disappears and becomes the character, now that’s Angelina, bar none.

  CLEARING UP MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT OSCARS.and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS).

  My qualifications? I have 2 sons working in the industry; one worked on HALF NELSON which had Ryan Gosling nominated for Oscar Best Actor. One son went to the Academy Awards & the Vanity Fair after-party, and a bunch of us to the Independent Sprit Awards, last February. (Angelina & A Mighty Heart should have a good chance there at the ‘Indie Oscars.’)

  The Academy is a very secretive thing. There are 6000 current members - the board of directors is probably the only people who have access to the complete list of Academy members. Once a year the Academy invites 100 or so to join - I ‘m sure most accept. Jennifer Aniston was one, most likely.

  MISCONCEPTION #1: Jennifer was invited to join the board and has the power to blackball Angelina. There’s no way a lowly new first year member can sit on the board — they have to have been members for years, gven a lot of service to the Academy, and have proven the’re worthy.

  MISCONCEPTION #2: As an Academy member, Jennifer can block nominations/awards for Angelina Jolie. Aniston has as much power as everybody else in the Academy - 1/6000, in other words - measly.

  NOMINATIONS & VOTING. The Academy is divided according to people’ s work: actors, directors, screenwriters, producers, documentaries, foreign movies, music, costume, makeup, animations, visual effects/special effects, sound, etc. Each division has a nominating committee which whittles 100s of movies down to 5 or 3 worthy nominees. At the same time, the studios/distributors have been campaigning with For Your Consideration ads in the trade papers (Variety/Holywood Reporter) to suggest which movies/actors/directors the Academy shoud nominate for which award. The goal is to win so sometimes actors will be nominated for supporting roles (because the competition is weak) instead of leading roles.

  When the nominating commitees come up with their slate of nominees. voting will happen by work category again: e.g., actors will vote the acting categories, directors directors, screenwriters screenwriters, etc. EXCEPT FOR BEST PICTURE - EVERYBODY, ALL 6000, VOTES FOR THAT.

  VOILA!! We find out the winners on the Academy Awards.

  Nancy, the story is false. That meeting would have meant he would not have been able to be back in Prague, Monday morning, in time to take his kids to school. And we have pics of him taking his kids to school Monday.

  He’s a great guy but he’s not superman; and there’s no way (in my opinion) he would let JA anywhere near Shiloh. And why would he take only Shiloh, after all he has Four kids in total.

  Plus Brad has always been a down to earth guy, why would his daughter have a nanny and a maid???!! It’s as bad a story as Angie having plastic surgery, (we know in reality who had surgery-fact) and the jewelled pacifier…What was that all about? When Shiloh was born it was rumoured that one of the stores sent her a jewelled pacifier. No prove anywhere!

  Sorry you all seem to have misunderstood my comment.

  A number of you appear to assume that I dislike the Jolie-Pitts, and I am not sure how you arrived at that conclusion.

  If you had read and digested my comment properly, you would see I never said anything about disliking them personally; it is only these types of photos I dislike.

  Of course I am a fan of the Jolie-Pitts.

  If I weren’t a fan I would not bother visiting this site in the first place, nor would I waste my time writing comments.

  I have been visiting this site daily for months and have often sent Sherry and the previous blog owner numerous tips and links to Jolie-Pitt news.

  However, surely it is possible for me to have personal opinions and to be able to voice those opinions without suffering a backlash of irritable “fanatical fan” type comments in return.

  I personally (emphasising the “I personally”) think long shots, especially side and back views, are a waste of time. I mean in all honestly, I simply don’t understand how a long-range photo of the back of Angelina’s head can be classed as interesting.

  Again before everyone gets their knickers in a twist, this is just my personal view and as a regular visitor and contributor to this site, I should be allowed to express my personal opinion - after all everyone else does and quite vocally in some instances!

  Most of us are here are adults or young adults and we should be able to conduct ourselves in an adult manner (i.e.) making comments, healthily discussions and differences of opinions – without the risk of an over-the-top negative backlash.

  I am all for you disagreeing with me (or anyone else) in print, as long as you do it in a respectful and non-childish manner.

  I plan to keep posting here, both positive and negative comments. So you will need to learn accept, respect or tolerate differences of opinions in a peaceful and non-aggressive response manner.

  Regarding Oprah promoting A Mighty Heart, I was wonderding the very same thing, as she was heartily promoting John Travolta’s Hairspray movie today (7/18/07) on her TV show. She was effusive in her praise of it and kept egging her audience on for more applause. Nothing wrong with that, it seems like a good movie, but why not do the same for such a moving story as A Mighty Heart? And what a great and possibly positive discussion her audience and all of us could have about the topic of forgiveness and tolerance. Did she even interview Marianne Pearl about her tragic experience and her book?

  Because I work, I usually miss her show so I do not know personally whether she ever promoted Brad’s movie or not.

  Does anyone know how I may contact her so I may ask her whether she did or did not? And if she did not, I’d like to know why. I hope she will be bombarded with that question. :)

  In closing, I’d like to say, “Thank you Sherry” for all your good work with this amazing Site. I enjoy every picture you put up of the Jolie-Pitts. Please keep up the good work and please know also your efforts are very much appreciated.

  does this have anything to do with that friggin’ triangle again and that she’s obviously still “taking sides”? can’t she be objective about other more important things such as Angie’s movie, its great message and Marianne and Danny Pearle’s story?

  K, sorry, but your source of information is wrong. CLARIFICATION: As Marianne said in many interviews about A MIGHTY HEART, especially in Cannes, MARIANNE SOLD THE RIGHTS TO BRAD (for Plan B) because (1) he was the only competing producer who had bothered to read her book, and (2) their minds meshed. MARIANNE DID NOT SELL THE RIGHTS TO JENNIFER The rights were sold to Plan B - with Jen’s & Brad’s joint ownership at the time. Owning the rights isn’t the same as being cast in a role. On divorcing, Brad bought out Jen’s share of Plan B, making Brad sole owner.

  There was NO ANNOUNCEMENT at any time from Plan B or anyone else that Jennifer was attached to play Marianne. Jen only mentioned in a Vogue interview that she’d love to play the role - wishful thinking many actors indulge in. Plan B has since released a statement that Jennifer had never been considered for the role.

  There’s a big misconception out there in the blogosphere that Jennifer & Oprah were invited to join the board of the Academy. Jennifer & Oprah WERE NOT BOTH INVITED TO THE AMPAS BOARD, they - along with about 100 others - were invited to become members of the 6000 strong Academy. THEY HAVE NO POWER, even Oprah, to do anything to Angelina. They have as much power over Angelina in the Academy as running for president in 2008.

Yes, she is powerful, and yes, she only kisses certain celebrity ass, and yes, she could dedicate her shows to more worthy causes besides her celebrity friends, but Oprah and Jen can’t determine who wins an award. I know why Oprah is giving money to various charities, yes, some she willingly does but the others, she does to avoid paying huge taxes for her earnings. Oprah can kiss ahs’s (not misspelled) for all I care, everybody knows she’s close to Jen, Angie could care less, she’s too broad minded to bother with nonesense.   Ligaya, I also want to thank you for explaining the Oscar’s process. I know it is a complicated one. No matter what we do, what we say there will always be negative stuff poured on Angie because she is with Brad. No matter how much charity and good deeds they accomplish there will always be “negative” things that people will say because Brad made his choice and most people are still blinded of the “stealing your husband” concept. It is very clear now that Brad contemplated this separation/divorce for a while. I saw the movie, “The Mexican” and “Spy Game.” Actually I enjoyed watching Spy Game. But he said his personal life was in turmoil while filming these films. On another topic, when I saw from you tube, Angie’s appearance at the Ellen Show for Alexander (at this time, she is also filming MMS), Ellen kept on teasing her with Colin F. She keeps on saying, yes we went to a party with the rest of the cast of Alexander just hinting to Ellen that they are not an item. Thank God for MMS, deep inside these two (B&A) are contemplating to be with each other.

  Mariane has never mentioned Jennifer Aniston - are yu sure they even met? Brad & Angie have never mentioned Jen, either.

  Well…all I can say is the Jolie-Pitts have a gigantic carbon footprint that doesn’t look like shrinking anytime soon….all that private jetting about as if each country was just a tube stop away!

  Haven’t they watched An Inconvenient Truth?

  So, dc, I assume your carbon footprint is ZERO? Isn’t it great about An Inconvenient Truth - now we can all say carbon offset and carbon footprint, and most of the ads in the mags & tv say green?

  I don’t remember if it was in An Inconvenient Truth or Brad Pitt’s e-series with PBS that I learned the #1 cause of global warming were not the car & oil industries or industries in general, it was HOMES and all of our living activities.

  So tell us which of the below you do, and I’ll think about your criticism of people like Angelina, Brad, Leo, Live Earth musicians, Al Gore, and ordinary environmentalists.

  You don’t own a car, definitely not more than one, or any recreational vehicles, or a gas leaf blower or lawn mower, right? You don’t have a green lawn or garden that takes a lot of water and fertilizers, you bicycle to work and for errands, you use public transportation - walk, buses, subways; on vacations, you take the train, not planes and cars. If you have a car, it’s electric, hybrid or mixed fuel. NO SUV/HUMMER. You keep your environmental car well-mainained and keep it until it’s lifetime is over. You don’t use petrochemicals outside or inside the house, you use alternatives. Because food from far away (whether across the country or the world) uses lots of gas getting to your supermarket, you eat only what’s grown/made locally. Just like you use recycled paper products (tp, paper towels, etc.). You DO recycle don’t you? Here in Oakland, 90% of our waste is recyclable (including electronic computer and entertainment related) and we’re breathing a little easier about no more landfill space. You never thow recyclables away, you faithfully put your empty ‘Smart’water bottles in recycling bins available almost anywhere. Oh, you also dispose of toxic materials (batteries, paints, petrochemicals, etc.) properly - not the garbage can or street drain.

  All your lights, inside and outside, are motion sensor solar lights or fluorescent. You don’t turn your heater up and your air conditioner down so much - you dress appropriately with sweaters/socks/mittens/throws/blankets in winter, and go naked in summer! You have a gas stove and gas water heater (wrapped in a heater blanket), not electric. You keep your furniture & furnishings - and make them heirlooms. Or if you can’t stand living with them another minute, you get something used from the Salvation Army, Goodwill or Craighslist. Every time something new is bought, it only encourages the manufacturers to destroy more forests and use up our dwindling resources..

  Your motto is “I live with what I need - not with what the stores & magazines have made me think I will be - if only I buy things…beautiful, thin, desirable…” Or you could just pay the carbon offset.

  So how many of the above do you do, dc? I might be very impressed.

  dc, haven’t you watched “Paparazzi”? The reality of their life at the moment is that it’s not safe to travel via commercial airline anymore.

  AND people like you would be the first to attack them for exposing their children to danger. Afterall it doesn’t take much thought/reasoning to realise that B&A have a more valid need to travel by private jet than Leo DiCaprio (environmentalist) and John Travolta.

  As for the issue of the Oscars, I think we all give Jen and Oprah more kudos for being good people than they actually deserve.

  These two have encouraged, through their interviews together, quite a bit of negativity towards B&A. Even though America’s new Saint Jennifer developed enough concept of right or wrong to actually admit that her marriage was in trouble for a while; this does not however absolve her. Because she has used this situation to her benefit by continuing to remain quiet about other issues, ie AMH and those opportunistic “visits” by poor Jane Pitt.

  So do I think she will try to sabotage any future recognitions…Yes! She has not shown herself to be beyond that kind of manupilation. Campaigns are not always fought outright in plain sight. Sometimes you just need the right nounce of disdain to encourage disrespect/discord. She did this on her tour of late night shows when she encouraged laughter at Brad’s expense. ?suggested? that he might be vain because of how he shaves his nose hair.

  How petty is that?? Very.

  FYI - NEW ANGELINA TRAILER ON ET TONIGHT, Wed. 7/25

  Last nght ET announced that an exclusive first look at the new Angelina Jolie trailer would air on tonight’s show. I was out of the room so I didn’t see if it was Beowuf or Wanted.
