  In all honesty, you don’t need legs of steel to trail a lot of weight on your bicycle. So long as your trailer has wheels and you are riding on fairly flat terrain, it is quite easy to pull several hundred pounds on a bike. I am a woman, and I am not very strong, and I have hauled as much as 200 pounds on my bicycle.

  Interestingly, I couldn’t waite to see the picture of Shiloh when she was born. I went to several stores before I finally found the people magazine. Now, I am so unimpressed with Shiloh. she is so uninteresting. Her siblings are so full of life and pesonality,I can’t waite to see new pictures of them. But, Shiloh lacks personality. She hasn’t come into her beauty yet, so she looks so standard and average. If she were being pushed down the street by her nanny without her parents or siblings I wouldn’t recognize her because she looks so average and forgetable. Unlike her siblings, they have star quality without their parents. Her siblings are so cute, they should be child models. Maddox is the reason tabloids began featuring coverage of baby celebrities. Mad became an icon because of his fashion since and mohawk. He embodied the “cool” that his Mom has, and that so many people only wish they had. Hell I think his coolness made Brad fall in love with him too, along with the world. At 18 months, Shiloh should be more responsive and reactive than she has been in the pictures. She acts like she has autism. She gives these blank stares into the abiss. It’s kind of weird, how her siblings show emotion on their face but she dosn’t. When Mad and Zahara were her age they reacted to the paparatzzi around them. They were irritated at times, indifferent at other times and happy at other times. She is neither, she seems to always look like she is in a daze. Her brother Pax just joined the Jolie-Pitt family 9 months ago and he fits in perfectly. But it seems like Shiloh dosn’t have a Jolie-Pitt personality yet. Hopefully, she’ll obtain it soon so she can stop being such a bore.

  This being Christmas Eve I will only say Shiloh is not a bore! Ana; I am stunned myself. Doctors have a difficult time diagnosing autism with the child present. Yet some can come to such hard conclusions based on a photograph.

  I am just sad to see that someone can be so judgemental. Imagine, someone sees a few pictures of your baby and get a conclusion that she is boring or not developing well, without ever meeting her? I can’t understand people who can write something like this without thinking that they are talking about real people with real children, and not some fictional characters that are here for your fun and entertainment.

  Love BAMPZS, i’ve vaccinated newborns and baby under 2 years of age who never cried when i injected the syringe with meds. it was weird but it’s normal. and besides, you cannot diagnose a child with autism not until they turn 2 years old.

Anyway, we have only seen little glimpses of Shiloh from “pictures,” so, to come to harsh conclusion about her development is ridiculous. Unless any of us have interacted with her, then we should probably save our judgments.

  and to joy, first of all, it’s not snarly, it’s snarky. comprende?! secondly, remember that there are 2 parents in this family. why put all the blame on angelina if we don’t see much of shiloh? once again, angelina’s painted as the bad guy. brad also has a choice to take shiloh out once in a while. comprende?! lastly, remember that because the media puts so much emphasis on shiloh being brad and angie’s “biological” child, the bounty on her head (media wise) is higher compared to her other siblings. also, maybe shiloh’s sickly, hence, that’s probably why we don’t see much of her. who really knows. this family seems to be trying as best as they can to have normal life, and if we don’t see shiloh much, it’s no big deal because she’s not some sort of public spectacle. yes, it’s exciting to see her, but come on, she’s only human. comprende?! hehe, didn’t mean to get snarky back at you, but man, your comment was just a little too aggressive.

  Ladies, AUTISM is NOT a dirty word. There is nothing mean spirited about having autism. Everyone isan’t the same. Having autism shouldn’t be considered an insult by you people. Someone is really wrong when a person makes a simple observation and the people in the group take it as an insult. Fist, I simply shared an observation from all the pics I’ve viewed from various sources. Many things can be revealed in picture, but as it pertains to Autism, the unbrakable focused stare or, the in my own world look or spacing off. My first cousin has autism and thus am very familiar with the signs and severe developmental delays. I certainly hope Shiloh dosn’t have autism, but she certainly displays characteristics. Most children who have three siblings are stimulated by the activity in the home. Therefore, they become socially advanced and react to the stimulation around them; unless there are some developmental delays. Family always hope for the best, and are the last to accept any diagnosis other than normal perfect health. As it should be we should always hope for the best for our children. Yet, others can often tell that there might be problem with your child before you can. My mother could tell my cousin had developmental delays when he was six months old. She suspected he might be metentally disabled (brain damage or retardation) or severly delayed (slow). My uncle and aunt said the same things that some of you are saying to me. Well, by 4 years old his parents were informed that he wasn’t brain damaged he just had autism. That was in the 1980s. My family has become very familare with autism. Although, there are new discoveries about austism, the clear indicator and any age is lack or responsiveness to activity around them and No initation of eye contact . A person with autism may look in ones direction like the picture BlessBrangelina forwarded, but there is no eye contact. Autism is not brain damage, one simply has to connect with an autistic child differently, because their brains are wired differently. I viewed the pictures on JustJared and Angelina is staring directly at Shiloh as she has with her other children, yet Shiloh is looking in her direction but not at her in her eyes. There is still no connection. It dosn’t matter how shy the child may be, at 18 months there should be eye to eye connection. I certainly hope autism is not the case, I hope that it’s simply a bland persona. But at 18 months children are not like Rocks, they are suppose to be inquisitive, which makes them stare at everyone who is staring at them and calling their name. At 18 months the child is so inquisite they don’t get hooked on staring at one thing like an animal at the zoo when there are tons of activity around them. Moreover, at 18 months they are constantly trying to keep up with their older siblings. At 18 months they should be trying to touch everything on their own without it being given to them, they have a will to decide what they want. They not non-responsive unless there is something wrong. To me, she so displays typical austism characteristics staring into the abiss, no eye contact with familiar person when they are in her face, and lack of responsiveness to stimulus around her. Anglelina carried Shiloh’s sister Zahara in the babypack, and Zahara couldn’t stop looking around at everyone, she was abit affraid at times and held on tight to her parents when she being held and the photogs where around them. I certainly hope Shiloh is normal, and dosn’t have autism. But if she does it will still be okay.

But with time (which meant more chances for outsider to see her) we found out that Zahara has a BIG personality and her legs have gotten straight all on their own. So give Shiloh a break. People have different personalities. I tend to be the quiet one in the family while my sis tends to be the outgoing one, but that doesn’t mean I have some kind of disorder for being less than extraverted. Heh, though others may think I am stuck up for being shy at times. Anyway, give Shiloh a break. She’s not even 2 yet. It’s for reasons like this (making judgments about her development and she’s still a baby) that I don’t mind not seeing pictures of Shiloh. There’s no winning. The family gets harped on for “hiding” her, and when she’s out and about, the child is also criticized/overanalyzed.

  To look at a few pixs of a child and make a diagnosis of autism is a crime. Why oh why do this? What an awful person one must be to even think this of a child who is not even 2 years old yet.

  2 years of age is the earliest age at which a diagnosis of autism is even made by trained medical and psychological professionals. None of those professionals would even venture a diagnosis based on a few pixs. Only extremely miserable abnormal uneducated women would do this.

  No autism is not a dirty word, BUT THOSE WHO ATTEMPT TO LABEL A BABY WHOM THEY HAVE NO PERSONAL CONTACT WITH AS AUTISTIC ARE DIRTY INDEED.

  Shiloh interacts with her environment, is inquisitive, pixs in toy store in NYC show a happy baby fully engaged with others, pixs in Prague showed a baby investigating her siblings in a tent and fully engaged with her dad, pixs in NYC show a baby making eye contact with both her mom and dad. That’s what I see, and what any normal person has also seen.

  Frankly, your putting WAY too much energy into this. I have not read anything in this thread that stated anything was said to a child. Maybe you should slow down on the eggnog:-). You do have a point, calling Shiloh a bore isn’t nice. She didn’t asked to be placed under the scruitiny of the public.

  I agree, certainly at least 2 sound medical opinions minimum. Also, the JP’s have a pediatrician for their children. If there are medical issues I trust them to handle it.

  I just want so say that why some of you think that Shiloh seems lifeless….. each child is different. My older daughter would have gotten the same reaction from the press. She is lively and spirited, but when she was little, she would totally close up around strangers. She would have the same blank stare and non-connection. If I had been a celebrity and been photographed all the time with her, I am sure lots of people would have suspected she is autistic. I surely hope Shiloh is not autistic, because it would be a very difficult life for her. But I think she is probably just an over-sensitive child (like mine) who closes up when she is in this crazy outside world (crazy in her case, I mean, with all the photographers).

  Another thing, just to maybe calm the waves a little regarding this “Shiloh being the preferred child by the press and the public” issue. I don´t think people mean any bad by being so interested in Shiloh. I think the reason why a lot of people are so interested in HER is not because biological is “better” than adopted. It´s just that fascination to see which one of the parents the biological child resembles, which parent you can recognize in the child, will she grow up looking more like Brad/more like Angie/more like a mixture? All these things are fascinating for fans. We don´t know BP and AJ at all, so we can only relate to them via photos or interviews really. I for myself can only say that I would definitely love an adopted child just the same, and if I had the financial ressources I might just go and adopt another child. I just think that the reason a lot of people are more interested in seeing Shiloh is that unlike her siblings you can see a similarity to her parents. I can also see that there are so many of you out there who are equally interested in all the JP kids, which is great. I just don´t think that the Shiloh fascination is ill-intentioned (as in making her more important than the others).

  I agree with you, Sophia, and I’m not blaming the fans completely, but I am blaming the media; unfortunately, we see some fans and anti’s buying into the lot of things that the media creates. Just notice the words that the media chooses to describe the children. There is always a differentiation among the siblings: the other 3 are always described as adopted while the other is biological. Technically speaking, those are true, but must the public be constantly reminded? Couldn’t those words just be filtered out? Couldn’t the media just say all their children? Of course, there is going to be fascination for Shiloh. You said it yourself it’s because she has a similarity to her parents . . . so, to an extent, it is still because she is biological. She inherited their genes and such. In the beginning, I’m sure everybody was anxious to see how Shi would look because after all, she was conceived by two very gorgeous and very famous people. I get excited, too, when I see pics of the little one, but then, I read these assumptions about her (and she’s just a baby), and I don’t mind that the parents shield her more.

  I’m sure loveBampzs means well, and she’s always been an ardent supporter of this family. I just think that we have to remember that pictures don’t equal knowing them. It doesn’t equal getting a full spectrum of their lives and their personality.

  Because Janice, she (Love BAMPZS) is a stirrer. Her explanation using Zahara kind of cancelled out her diagnosis of Shiloh.

  There are a lot of photogs around all the kids, Shiloh responds just like all the kids amazed and awed. STILL pictures are not video’s, the image is captured in time it’s not mobile. So to say she stares into space without responding to her environment is kind of like using an “oxymoron”.

  There are pics of her interacting with her Mother, ( NY); her Father(Chicago,NY & Venice); and to toys around, (NY); pics of her walking and smiling to her sibling and father (Chicago).

  But Love BAMPZS like most Brad and Angie haters bypass the evidence in order to continue with their inane views.

  Janine you make an excellent point. I remember when Angelina Jolie was on the red carpet (I believe it was the Oscars) and they said how angry she was all night and only posted pictures of her not smiling. Yet there were tons of pictures of her smiling on other sites.

  Still there are 24 hours in a day and yet we see pictures from 5-10 minutes and want to declare ourselves experts on these people’s personalities. Can’t do it.

  night: based on the links to pics you’ve provided, it’s clear to me that Shiloh does NOT have autism. She is clearly walking, laughing, having eye contact, and interacting with her family.

  Shiloh is a cute baby.
  It’s great to see her smile… autistic children smiles too.
  Autistic child can have eye contact too.
  Some of them have a large head.
  They can start to walk early too.
  But, i saw in a picture the little cute baby pointing something ( it was the best! )…
  Autistic babies can’t point.
  They start to point later them other kids.
  As mother of a child with autism, I feel good when I see babies pointing!

  Why would Shiloh want to be Suri’s friend anyway?? With cool siblings and cool friends like Kingston, I’m not sure Suri would make the crowd. She is too suburban apple pie girl next door versus international chic(a citizen of the world) jetsetter. Now I could see Shiloh dating Gabrielle Reese’s son Brody Hamilton and being friends with Heiding Klum’s son Henry, and David Ritchie (Maddona’s kid),Laird Stone (Sharon’s kid) Daisy True Ryan (Meg’s kid), Ash Parker (Mary-Louse’s kid), Wyatt Crow (Sheryl’s kid). But Suri, can’t see it. I could see Suri being friends with Violet Afflect, or Can’t remember names but Julia Roberts kids, Kerri Russells kid, Tori Spelling kid, Naoimi Watts kid and Elisabeth Hasselback’s kids.

  Before I begin, I really do hope the editorial staff will post my comments.

  I think there are those individuals who want Zahara to be the only daughter, so they paint Shiloh with the “Autism brush”, which in some minds is not far from retardation.

  I wonder if Shiloh were Black instead of white, would they still have the same views?

  I have seen recent video of Shiloh and Zahara interacting with Brad while they were on the ski trip and several things stand out:

  1. Zahara is still so jealous of Shiloh that she attempts to hurt her. (push her away, so hard that Brad had to pull “Z” away from Shiloh to avoid an altercation).

  2. Zahara, in my opinion is the one who may be developmentally delayed, not Shiloh.

  Why, do you ask?

  Zahara is still not potty trained and is getting close to 3 and a half years old. During the video I saw Zahara squatting, which child behaviorists agree is a behavior of having a bowel movement. So we know that Zahara still is incontinent.

  Another thing, Shiloh is more than a year younger than Zahara and yet her behavior was the same (except for the squatting as Z)

  From what I have seen, I think Zahara is regressing, rather than progressing. Now “Z” is carrying a security blanket and sucking her thumb, which she was not doing before. Shiloh carries little blankies with her, she has a baby doll and a bottle, whereas Zahara has a stuffed animal. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Zahara is retarded, but I am saying that for all her pointing and famous dirty looks, she may be slow in many areas.

  Usually when children have a developmental problem it is not diagnosed until they are 5 or 6 because most parents are not aware of the stages of average development, so they tell themselves “Oh she/he is just a baby, and not all babies do (potty training, lose the woobie, lose the pacifier at the same time).

  Has anybody noticed how big (height, weight) Zahara is? Her helmet is larger than Pax’ and Maddox. I have seen AJ try to pick her up and her weight is clearly too much for AJ’s frame. This is before Aj became pregnant again. I do not believe for one minute that “Z” is only three years old. I think the grandmother probably told the orphanange she was still an infant, because infant’s have a better chance of being adopted right away. “Z’s” malnourished body could pass for that of an infant, so why spoil the illusion?
  It’s not just that she is tall for her age, the size of her head is a real giveaway, as well as her hands and feet. When they were in Pune, I saw the size of her thighs and they were HUGE for a one year old.

  One of the reason’s I think Shiloh and Zahara are seldom photographed together is “Z’s” jealousy toward Shiloh ( I think when you do not see Shiloh in photos it is beacause they are protecting her from “Z” and her volatile behavior, the press most likely is not a factor). AJ says they are only a year apart, even though Zahara looks at least 2 1/2 yrs. older in size than Shiloh.

  OK OK, I’ve had my say, I’ll get off my soap box now.

  I really don’t care for BP or AJ, But Shiloh is such a beautiful little princess, she is hard not to admire.

  You are dilusional. Interesting how spin things. Frankly, you have no idea what you are talking about. That isan’t a security blanket. If you noticed all their kids use the blanket when they are napping on Brad on Angie’s sholder. That isan’t a security blanket. Z isan’t wearing pampers anymore. Z has bow legs, due to Ricketts, she wasn’t sqwating she was beding down while playing. You are mistaken about the bowl movement. Thirdly, Z speaks complete sentences, her responsiveness and cleverness towards the media dosn’t indicate any developmental delays. If anything, it shows she is advanced. I don’t know where you came up with that quack observation but you need to lay off the cocktails because either you are misperceiving the child’sbehavior or you are spinning it. It you ask me, you are spinning it.

  Thirdly, to suggest that Z is older because she is shorter is rediculous. Z was malnurished, and she did not have a large head and small body; her entire body was small. Babies who are NOT breast fed are SMALLER. Breast fed babies are HUGE. Every mother on this list knows that. If you looked at the tabloids at Z’s birth mother, Z has the same cranial and body structure and it is clear that Z is not older. Genetically, Shiloh will likely be 5′10 while Zahara and Pax will likely be shorter. It appears you are intentionly trying to mislead readers. This list is not FOX news, you just can not make up crack pot assertions without real observations. The argument you’ve outlined is flawed, unfactual and wrong.

  As one of the members who has an autistic family member, you are cadigorically incorrect in your assertion. Moreover, Autism is NOT like being retarded. You sound like a crackpot.

  Interesting that you’re commenting on this topic just now. Your ignorance is obvious. I suppose you don’t know that squatting is a pose used not only for bowel movement but for sitting. All ages in many continents squat: Asia, Africa, Australia, Oceania, the Americas.
