Tomb Raider 3?
There’s no green light on the project at all yet, but rumor has it that Paramount Pictures is thinking of creating another installment to the Tomb Raider movies. Ian Livingstone, creator and co-founder of Eidos, said that as he has completed the Lara Croft game Tomb Raider: Anniversary Pack, he started contemplating the possibilities of another movie. He said:
“At this moment in time it’s still not green-lit, but the signs are there. Paramount have talked about the film for a long time, and I’ve had meetings with them.”
“They’re willing to put a scriptwriter on board. Angelina Jolie has an option to do a third movie.”
A possibility - even a remote one - of Angelina Jolie reprising her butt-kicking role as Lara Croft? Seriously? Excuse me while I go ask all the powers in the universe to PLEASE make this happen!

I hope there is a 3rd Tomb Raider, but only if Angelina does it. There is no other person could pull it off. There is only one Lara Croft and that is Angelina.

ITA….ANGIE IS THE ONLY LARA CROFT….IF SHE REPRISES THIS ROLE….I HOPE SHE DOES….

If they do this, I hope the script is better than the second film. It was pretty bad.

I think that it would be a waste of time having anyone but Angie play Lara Croft. Who else could
do it better?????

Angelina Jolie is Lara Croft period.
But if they indeed want to make the third sequel, they must create a better script, so it won’t be cheesy nor cliche.
You know…. the main problem from a movie that was adopted from video game, is that the story is always lame. Check out Resident Evil, Doom, DOA, Street Fighter.
I hope there’ll be a better special effect too.

I hope She will! And wouldn’t it be cool is the few “bad-boys” of Hollywood (ie. Jude Law, Colin Farell, Johnny Depp) all play characters after Lara’s own heart? Angelina would be the only woman alive who can hold her own against all these actors.

How weird, I just re-watched both Tomb Raider movies last night w/ friends and today I come over to check this site out and I see this post, lol.
Anyway, I hope she does do it, it would be fun and SHE is the ONLY Lara Croft. The movie would have to be really good bc generally part 3’s are not all that good. Hopefully it does work out.

I love Angelina. I think she is a great actress and an amazing woman. I have to say though that the Tomb Raider movies are easily her worst movies. I couldn’t make myself like either one. I thought they were cheesy and poorly acted.

Angelina in Tomb Raider 3? Wow! That is great! Here in Malaysia Angie is the main talk if you ask me and another movie, especially my favorite game like Tomb Raider would top the charts since nowadays the guys have coo special effects! I pray that Angie does it and please select actors like Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt himself and other cool actors> It would be cool! Good Luck guys!
