Unconfirmed Jolie-Pitt twins’ birth report
There are unconfirmed reports flying all over the Internet today that Angelina Jolie gave birth to her and Brad Pitt’s twin babies today at the Lenval hospital in Nice. So far the hospital has claimed it to be untrue and that the news will be posted on their website when it happens. Also, no one in the Brad and Angelina circle have confirmed the reports.
Keep in mind, that In Touch is one of the sources for this news and we all know how much of a tabloid magazine they are. It’s an exciting time, waiting for the Jolie-Pitt twins, so of course everyone wants to be the first to announce it. However, I believe it will be through People and perhaps a large news source like CNN that will have the real story when it happens.
A French news source is also reporting that they’ve been born and are stating it’s one boy and one girl, born via C-section. They also claim that the twins were named Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. However, I don’t know the French papers or magazines so I have no idea what’s considered tabloid and what’s considered a decent source for news.
Either way, Nadine Bauer, the spokesperson for the hospital told Extra that “it is wrong information”.
I’m sure the babies are coming very soon but we’ll have to wait for some solid sources and confirmations instead of the anonymous “sources” these people always quote. It’s sure getting exciting though, isn’t it?!

It’s official! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have given birth to a boy and girl, named Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
How can we confirm this? Thanks to our uber-investigative instincts, Stargina has learned that Angelina’s lawyers Lavely-Singer quickly snapped up the domains KnoxLeon.com and VivenneMarcheline.com Saturday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, french newspaper Nice-Matin quoted Jolie’s gynaecologist, saying that the actress did indeed give birth to a boy and girl, via casarian. Up until now, nothing was officially confirmed.
Jolie’s lawyers did the same thing when their first bioligical daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, was born back in 2006 - within minutes of the birth, her legal team snapped up several domains featuring different variations of Shiloh’s name.
Congrats to Brad and Angelina, about time those babies popped out!

I used to live in Nice and Nice Matin is a very respectable newspaper. It is THE main, most mainstream local newspaper. Like The L.A. Times in L.A.
If it is indeed true I am so happy !!!! I would be especially happy if it were a boy and a girl, because I am real curious to know what the Brad /Angie combo will turn out to be in a boy : ) : )

Hmm… I think I’m gonna wait for a confirmation before letting myself get too excited. The important thing for me is that Nadine Bauer from the hospital denied it. She’s a health care professional not a member of the media, so I can’t help trusting her somehow… then again, there’s always that element of doubt.
I guess we’ll find out soon enough!

I didnt think it was true at first, but now im pretty convinced she had them. Ive also read her lawyers snapped up the domain names of the kids so….plus knox, maddox, pax, it seems like something they would pick out. Vivienne is also cute because they could call her V or vivi. Like Zahara is Z, and shiloh is SHI. I think it works, plus they can call Knox by his middle name Leon, or they can call him Knoxy which is cute. I know angelina probably couldnt wait to have them and she wanted them out as soon as possible. 5 pounds each is pretty good considering they are twins, i also heard they sold the pics for 11 million to People, I cant wait for the layout! I will be buying a copy forsure, and usually i dont buy magazines since its a waste of paper and i get my news online. Im 98% sure its true, just waiting for People to confirm it, and im sure they will tomarow…

I’m guessing Angie did have the twins today, and was probably hoping to helicopter home before making the announcement so they could leave the hospital quietly and without a lot of attention from the press.

Looking around the web, it seems that the only major evidence comes from the domain registration of the twins names… but would it have been possible for some fan or prankster to secure the domains themselves? It certainly adds an air of authenticity to it :)
Just Jared has some screenshots which show the domain registrations but all they list is a registrant contact, which could presumably be made to point toward Lavely Singer even if they hadn’t actually been the ones to secure the domain…
Then again maybe I’m just being silly. It’s so hard to know what to believe. People are going so crazy over these babies that a lot of reports are jumping the gun… everyone wants to be first with the news!

Holy moly it’s CONFIRMED!
Dr Michael Sussman just spoke to the Associated Press fourteen minutes ago and confirmed that the reports are correct!
Eeeeee!!! Congratulations Angelina and Brad and all the super proud big brothers and sisters! What wonderful news, a girl and a boy! I adore the name Knox but am not too keen on Vivienne. I’m sure that we’ll all warm to the names once we see these beautiful children.

PARIS (AP) — Angelina Jolie’s doctor says the actress has given birth to a girl and a boy.
Dr. Michel Sussmann told The Associated Press that Jolie, the babies and Jolie’s partner, Brad Pitt, “are doing marvelously well.”
Sussmann confirmed a report in the local Nice Matin newspaper that Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarian section on Saturday night.
He told the AP on Sunday morning that the boy weighed 5.03 pounds and the girl 5 pounds

I think it’s funny how all the news sources are scrambling to get up articles on this as quick as possible. Look at this paragraph from NY Daily News:
“The twins’ birth would bring Jolie and Pitt’s growing brood now stands at six. The celebrity couple has three adopted children, Maddox, 6; Pax, 4;, and Zahara, 3, as well as a biological daughter, 23-month-old Shiloh.”
You can tell that they’ve pre-written it months ago (when Shi was still 23 months old) and hurriedly updated it (their first sentence says that the twins “would bring” the brood to six, and also that the brood “now stands” at six in the same sentence). LOL. This is big news for the early hours of the morning! It’s nearly 5pm here, but I guess it’s middle of the night for the US.

Brad Pitt was at Angelina Jolie’s side as she gave birth to a son and daughter Saturday at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France, PEOPLE has confirmed.
“The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly,” Dr. Michael Sussmann told PEOPLE Sunday. “Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well.”
Sussmann confirmed the Nice Matin newspaper report that Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.
The twins are the fifth and sixth children for Jolie, 33, and partner Brad Pitt, 44, who are already parents to Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.
“The mother and father are very, very happy,” Sussmann told PEOPLE.
The doctor told the Associated Press that the Cesarean was moved forward “for medical reasons” so that the babies could be born “in the best conditions.” He also said Jolie is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days.
On July 1, Jolie checked in to the Fondation Lenval hospital to await the births. The family has been living in the south of France since this spring.
Jolie recently told Entertainment Weekly that she was surprised – but not daunted – when she learned she was having twins. “It did shock us, and we jumped to six [children] quickly,” she said. “But we like a challenge.”

Congrats Angelina and Brad!!! People magazine is reporting the births of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The early reports said Angie had given birth to twin girls. I think this is why the Hospital spokeswoman Nadine was quoted as saying, “wrong information”. She never flatly said that Angie “hadn’t” given birth. Its 2:20am and I couldn’t sleep–I’m glad I opened my laptop. I’m so very thankful that mother and children are doing well.

At last the wait is over !! i wondered if they would give another boy a name with an x in it, and bingo we have Knox.. Vivienne is a great girls name too…the babies are tiny and i hope they wait a little while before taking pictures of them for the worlds press..but i can’t wait to see these little ones grow and develope over the years..can you imagine how excited the other kids are going to be when the babies come home..shiloh is going to think they are her own personal baby dolls and Z will want to help with everything…c-section is a very big operation and Angie will take a while to heal and feel better so lets all send good thoughts and prayers in her direction and hope that she and brad will enjoy this wonderful time in their lives without too much pressure from the media.

I’m so happy for Angie and Brad and feel relieved that the babies are born healthy after all. It is such a miracle that they have a boy and a girl. Normally, twins come in one gender so I can imagine they have the greatest of all joys.
