Update on the SAG Award

January 27, 2008 by Sherry

Alas, Angelina Jolie didn’t win for Outstanding Actress at the SAG Awards tonight – the award went to Julie Christie. I’m not too disappointed, the buzz was that Julie would indeed win after all, so I’m not overly surprised. If anything, it makes me want to see her movie, so I can see what it was that gave her such an edge at all the awards this year.

In all, I’m mostly just glad to have seen Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the red carpet again. I wonder if they’ll go to any of the after-parties or go home to the kids? I know when I’m out I miss my kids but on the other hand I end up thinking, “woohoo! I’m out without anyone to watch over!” so maybe they’ll go out with their friends.

(As an aside, huge congrats to Daniel Day-Lewis for winning, and kudos for the lovely words he said about Heath Ledger & the Ledger family in the press room. He is awesome.)

She looks so beautiful with this amazing dress, I would be happy with her possible pregnancy.

Oi, this pair just can’t do no wrong…I so love this couple and their family. I’m disappointed about Angie’s loss, but I think she herself knows she’s got so much more better than the awards with her family. :-D On a more serious note, let’s say a prayer for Angie’s mom.
